Why would God, after 1,900 years of traditional Trinitarian Christianity taught all over the world, decide it's finally time to "fix" it and start spreading the "correct" message through his new organization that "Jesus is not God, only the Father is"?

Are the JW's some kind of psyop? What is their true purpose? What is going on here?

JW leadership has predicted the end of the world like 50 times and failed, yet they still have followers. They are not thinking rationally, it's a cult and they get socially pressured into staying in it. If you leave, everyone you know shuns you and you're cut off from your community, family, friends and loved ones. Most people can't bear to do this, so they cope and come up with various mental gymnastics to stay in the cult. JW is just one of the bigger cults around, there are many others that use their standard cult tactics. Scientology is similar.
