Covid had a long incubation period so you could have it and be spreading it for a week or two before you even showed symtoms which is why it spread so rapidly once it took hold. If everyone wears masks regularly during the time before a vaccine (in practice more of an immunization that significantly reduces symtoms and spread) is widely available it reduces spread but Americans don't care about eachother and most can't comprehend a collective friendly behavior like that so you have to tell them it protects them individually. But whatever this is a shitpost thread, that just always annoyed me though.
