> I was hoping people would ask for something more creative then thick women
This thread is unironically a great illustration of how/why AI won't really threaten creative artists...not because of technical abilities but because even when presented with what amounts to a magic box that churns out anything you ask for, people are more interested in testing it to confirm their biases against it on their own narrow terms, or if they do try to input some fanciful prompt, the thinking behind it is so shallow and lazy that it becomes readily apparent when the magic box spits out exactly what they asked for.
As always, the ability to come up with a unique concept, to know whether it needs to be more or less defined/restrictive and the ability to assess preliminary realizations and either accept them or develop them further will be what separates the people with creative vision from the pedestrian button pushers.

>Also 90%+ of it will be used for porn.

One hundred percent. If the public ever gets access to good image generating ai like this the porn industry will be changed from the ground up. I'm honestly kind of scared as to what coomers will come up with once this stuff gets mainstream.

>I'm honestly kind of scared as to what coomers will come up with once this stuff gets mainstream.
Still follows the same principle, imaginative people already serve practically any niche you can think of (try it if you dare) and the rest of it is mind numbing un-creative and derivative.
It's kind of like the popular sci-fi meme of worrying about AI robots taking over and unleashing previously inconceivable horrors on humanity- when IRL people have already conceived of those horrors and just can't make them happen, and any two fertile retards can (and have) create offspring with the potential to foment worldwide havoc and suffering without anything even remotely likecAI or robots, or even computers.
"One estimate is that about 11% of the world's population was killed either during or immediately after the Mongol invasions (around 37.75–60 million people in Eurasia). If the calculations are accurate, the events would be the deadliest acts of mass killings in human history. "

Have you gotten to experiment with the inpainting feature at all yet? I'm curious how well it can imitate an existing artstyle if you try to place/replace something in an existing piece of art. For something easy to test, what about replacing the head of the Mona Lisa with something else? Otherwise I'm interested in anything you think of as long as it's an inpainting test.

I'm also curious if inpainting can be used for the equivalent of an artstyle transfer, but I'll leave that question for another time.

It can replicate art quiet well, some art needs to be worded a bit different ex: instead of saying "a love scene spray painted on a wall in black" I would need to say "a love scene spraypainted on a wall in black using stencils by Banksy". I also very much like the Andy Warhol style art, genuinely looks like something he could have made. I guess how well it is able to recreate a style depends on how unique it is, Andy Warhol is instantly recognizable but a more unknown artist is going to have a rough time. Jellyfish in the style of Andy Warhol for example:

I'm curious how DALL-E compares to dedicated face-swapping models when it comes to replacement, considering I've seen some really impressive faces generated so far but that's always been entirely independent of an original source image, so I have no idea how well it can or can't pick up environmental lighting and other features.

Any chance you could try a basic face swap using the replacement feature and show the before/after? Just pick any two well-known celebrities like a Nic Cage or a Danny DeVito, that should be enough to see how well it holds up.

>Will this replace graphic design?
Morning schizo take that this will help commodifying trends super-fast and super-personalizing advertising and digital platforms

If through spotify, youtube, netflix, soundcloud, pinterest, instagram, twitter, other media and shopping platforms (((somebody))) can track and correlate active internet-using people's exact taste in themes, music and visuals, the targeted advertising materials and the websites user visits could be tweaked accordingly, automatically

Google have suggested personalizing the physical products user may buy as an example, but why not also personalize the advertising visual and audio materials and presentation of the digital platform interface
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDVVo14A_fo

Same product/platform but one edgy faggot sees images, fonts, promotions in acid graphics sadboys style and allegedly is under illusion this is cool and relatable, the other with rural imagery and apple pies and is also under illusion that this is personal and relatable

Let me see how complex these can get. If this is excessive, trim whatever you think best.

"A massive locked gate made of iron, textured like microcircuitry with the words "OpenAI" carved into it. The gate is deeply recessed into a wall made of ancient Egyptian stone. A small depressed man in modern urban clothing is slouched against the gate touching the gate with extended arms. Next to the man on the ground is a laptop displaying the internet. The scene is in deep shadow before dusk. Oil painting by Caravaggio, high detail."

My sentiments.

I'm not sure they used actual satellite imagery, or had it semantically referenced properly in full, or what, but it's clearly not working as well as human faces even, which are more obvious when flawed.

Thanks again, anon.
Looks like "texturing" doesn't work, probably not a common keyword in the dataset.
Perhaps it's because I described the gate first and the person as secondary that it focused on the gate.
The carving didn't occur at all. Perhaps it doesn't work with Caravaggio's style, perhaps I got the syntax wrong.

If you're up for it, let's do a test about the above. It could help with all future prompts. There's going to be an art to making this art, learning the tricks of the program.
Try again, maybe syntax will fix it:

"A man slumping against a massive iron gate recessed into a sandstone wall, above which is inscribed "OpenAI". Deep shadows, before dusk. Oil painting by Caravaggio, High detail."

Cool thread OP, I'm amazed you've kept it going this long. Could you do 'Photograph of Perfect Cell from DBZ dunking a basketball at the NBA playoffs in front of a cheering crowd, wide angle lens' I think it would be quite epic.

Usually when you can't imagine it in your head it can't create it. It took it pretty literal this time.

Absolutely amazing, I was kind of expecting it to get perfect cell wrong but it got everything else 100% how I imagined the scene.

Thanks again.
Got OPAPT in one, so there's something.
Really not working with "inscript", etc.
Probably need to think in terms of "what would pinterest users say".

Also, this guide dropped. I'll read it once I have access, might be of interest to people:

Best cowboy artist I've seen:
"Cowboy sitting on horse, by river, American West, oil painting by William Ranney." (Tylee is middle name if that doesn't work)
Tom Lea is also a great artist.

If you're ever in Dallas, they, totally expectedly, have an excellent selection of cowboys and Americana pictures in their main art museum.
>>
I wonder what these dead artists from the pre-industrial era would think of the fact a metal box is painting new works of theirs 150 years in the future.

What would mindfuck us if someone came back 150 years and told us?
