Thinking schizo drawings are cringe is for when you're just crawling out and growing up out of mental chaos and as a defence, distance yourself from that kind of free expression... but then as you truly mature you can begin to appreciate it more and interpret it in a reasonable, appreciative and entertained way instead of just being triggered by it and kind of just scared of other people's chaos and self art therapy and juvenile inchoate mindlessness. You grow out of your own narcissistic complexity and sometimes reckless and aimless mind spaghetti, then grow out of the reactionary narcissistic order and fear, and then have a balance for everything where you are neither judgmental nor clueless and like a kid in a creche managed by the adults. I kept all my schizo drawings that I did or my friends did in high school and I'm so amazed at the cryptic messages and the forms of intelligence coming through them and how they're like weeds growing through the cracks in the concrete. Idiocy meets genius. It's so beautiful. Maybe I will do art someday but it feels like something you do at the feet of your ma or in prison or a psych ward or cubicle.
