I've got plenty o' adobe programs, but no way to keep them after education program gone. any way to keep them? >:)

My biggest gripe with some Adobe programs (mainly Illustrator) is the restriction to a 227 inch canvas size. I really hate working stuff at half or quarter scale for my job. Some of the designs I have to print are well over 227 inches and require seaming and overlapping of the substrate. Doing that kind of thing at 1/4 scale hurts my brain and is extremely inconvenient.
