Alright fellas, anything goes in this thread as long as it makes you feel absolutely miserable
>>402766I'll start with the dutch Stedelijk Museum, rumor is they paid several 100k's for this totally new brand identity, here's their new website
>>402766Im saving this cause I like it
>>402766>>402767I like it
>>402766this is fucking fire what are you talking about
>>402766this is cool n fun
>>402766I've been to this museum, it's rad. I think i still have a pamphlet from it somewhere
>>402783>>402784>>402810>>403109>>403164>t. Stedelijk Museum Defense Force
>>402766Awesome, but understandable, it might come across as effortless or something. But I like it!
>>402766since I am not from amsterdam (where ever that is lol) I really like it a lot. I think your attempt at slander was a very juvenile take on such a well-rounded design.
>>402766>>402767>>402783>>402784>>402810>>403109>>403164>>403186>>4031934chan literally never agrees on anything so this makes me this that these are shills
>>402766It's kind of ugly buy I don't hate it.>>402767This is borderline unusable.First of all, the text is so stupidly large that most of the exhibition descriptions fall outside the screen, and if you mouseover if starts scrolling, but it does it so fast that you can barely read it.Then there's the fact that it's a museum, so why the hell did they opt for giant text with tiny images? Why not let the images speak for themselves? What they're exhibiting matters a lot more than their dumb "brand identity". For example: the Surinam exhibition literally has a heading rendered in a whopping 91px font size, next to a 103px by 114px image, and even maximized on a 27" monitor I still can't read what it says.
Noo.. have to agree. That looks awful.Btw, is there actually any chance to get a job doing graphic design?
Still better than the Rijks[spatie]museum
>>402766Bahaha, even a kindergarten kid can do it better.
>>402766Even a kindergarden kid can do it better, but what you expect the "bildende künste" shifted form museums, to games and films.
>>402767post rumor source
>>402767Dutch people dig experimental design shit like this.Their whole culture is about it. People coming to Amsterdam from Montana and backwater shitholes like >>403219 feel like they're getting something foreign and exotic they couldn't get at home like their pump-a-chump local gallery. Text big (CLICK HERE TO BUY A TICKET), gallery images are inside the gallery. That's what you pay for. Also - site loads fast, no big images on the home page. Did you even fucking click one further?
I know this guy, he wants to teach graphic design/art. This is not ironic, all of his crap is this bad.
