Here's your new burger king logo browww.cnn.com/2021/01/07/business/burger-king-new-logo/index.html
>>402729It could be a lot worse, but I hope this and Pizza Hut reverting back to older logos starts a trend in the next decade.
>>402729I like it but their new building design is ugly
Cool. I like the curvy bubbly setup of the '60s-'70s
>>402740>>402729Yah, good shit!
They're really playing up on the nostalgia factor, looks like the old logo (pre 2000s) but cleaned up with more streamlined modern branding. I like it.
>>402729is good. I like.
>>402729the font, i love it !!!
>>402753yeah its nice
>>402750More of a 70's vibe, if you google 70's Burger King, there's definitely a connection. I don't have a problem with this.
looks like dunkin donuts font
>>402729looks based. love the colours and use of that serif display font. It has personality and that goes a long way in the climate of over-minimal designs
Conceptually it makes sense to go full retro because last time I heard anyone speak favorably of Burger King, or mention them at all for that matter, was last millennium. NGL, there's something really comfy about this design. Burger King was never really a good restaurant, but going for a sort of nostalgia for something that never was might turn out to be a great move because I actually feel like having a whopper now, despite knowing that it will be very disappointing.
>>403205It's nice but the bottom left pic looks like ass and it breaks the whole "nostalgic" imagery with ugly humans of flat/alegria/corporate memphis/whatever the fuck that style's called nowadays
>>403234Doesn't really look like that to me... sure it's flat and has intentionally strange proportions, but it's much more playful and cartoony than your average corp illustration. My first association was actually vintage children's books.
hopefully other brands will follow and we'll get back to more playful designs instead of flat corporate nightmare
>>403251what the fuck happened in 1954-1957
>>403280dark times
>>403243Looks like an old ma and pa restaurant I would be pissed off waiting in the drive thru line for because they're an old shitty restaurant. If they start doing 60's/70's style commercials I get it otherwise nah.
Looks alright, though I feel it's too close to McDonalds without the blue. They had something to set them apart
>>40272970s are back confirmed.I like it.
Honestly, the logo could have used a little blue in it. Maybe underlining the lettering. Looks too Tex-mex without it
>>403251ftfy
>>4033215103671388
>>403280It doesn't look as bad in context
>>403454ah yes, Burger King's classic blue beef
>>403454Put the blue under the bun and make it a plate
>>403251imagine getting paid millions to not think of literally anything new
>>403782they probably overlapped the 69 and 94 lettering vectors and applied the blend tool, thought of it as a super clever idea, then cleaned up a little.. i mean it is ok.
>>403251did they get bought out by dunkin donuts parent company or something?
