>>398444Great trips great poster.
>>398452Thank you! That catchphrase is really good, did you come up with it?Got a more recent poster, the guy wanted some barely readable neo graffiti chrome bling typo, so I made him one. Wouldn’t have expected the 3 years of graffiti writing to be of any use, but now I made some cash with it
>>398458This poster is also very good but I really don't like the font on the bottom, kinda reminds me of Homiez. The catchphrase is just something I thought of while looking at a mirror once and I laughed. But thank you! I just posted a bunch of my stupid posters in a different thread so I can't post them in this one. Oh well!
>>398459Do you have an IG where you post them? I’d share mine but idk if it’s safe to post here... Pic related was just a quick composition to experiment with the style and color scheme a bit, still waiting for the right client to pull off this style
>>398463I really like your style. I do have an IG but I seldom design square-shaped stuff so it's poorly maintained and doesn't show a lot of my work well.
>>398464You should definitely consider posting your stuff regularly on ig. The posters started as a fun project for me earlier this year and by now I have made quite some money out of it. Even though you’re really dependent on a good audience, but if you know your niche that’s easy to get
>>398464>>398466Plus the whole poster thing is blowing on ig right now
>>398444This is the logo I made for an old racing bike that I restored
>>398468On finished bicycle** sorry English is not my best
>>398468I just had it plotted out of sticky foil (glue foil? You know like just foil that’s sticky, like tape, idk what’s the right word for it) then put it on and sprayed over with clear coat
I also made a 3-part series of compositions to print on canvas. They have no paticular theme and we’re just meant to look kinda meaningful. In the Future I might use them as templates for posters or album covers 1/3

>>398474who the fuck prints posters on canvas, imagine the deluded fag
>>398484i mean if they were at least original, all i ever saw om this board is literally some generic shit
>>398484I'm thinking about getting some of mine printed on Canvas at Walgreens and then asking like $100 for 'em on Facebook Marketplace. >>398467>>398466You can find me on IG as DoomsdayLLC. I wasn't aware that the whole poster thing is blowing up right now but it makes sense since I've transitioned into it being my main source of income.
>>398444how do you prevent the 'v' in transversum from being jagged edged?
>>398452Can I steal this for a shirt
>>398510It'll just be a personal one but I will respect your creation and not do it
>>398511Sorry, I was just sensitive about it because I actually do make a living selling shirts and stuff with my art on it, but I'm not really so worried with you and this design.
>>398512>not worried>proceeds to reply again
>>398444Love this anon
My latest work, I'm really happy with how it turned out
Its cover art for a game I'm making (as if it would have a physical case)
Trying out some stuff, I'm fairly new to this!
too poor to buy photoshop, made it using pixlr
>>398751>pixlrGIMP is free and actually really good, despite the memes.
>>398752it's so fucked
what do you guys think
>>398469[s]returm to dvach[/s]You're welcome brother
>>398745Beautiful
>>398512Idk if too late or too personal, but where can I buy your shirts?
>>398764Layout is more spread out and not as accessible as PS is. But it can essentially do what PS does.
>>398787I've got a few on my Etsy (doomsdayllc) but not that particular design. They're printed with Printful, which means that the quality is not the best, but it's also not the worst. You'd just wanna be careful about not rubbing stuff against the design (like a seatbelt) and making sure you turn the shirt inside out when you wash it. Shirts are kind of hard to expand into from posters, but I appreciate that you're interested.
just playing around with some new texture packs
>>398815Woah is that a Trump dumb joke? Man that's the cutting edge right there
>>398854it was just playing around with some textures you low iq having mouth breather
>>398814I got a vinyl cutter and a heat press, how much would you charge for a design to produce myself
>>398764use paint.net. its just as good as photoshop if you download plugins
>>398891If you buy the shirt and you press the vinyl, you done all the work, lol. I don't think I'd feel comfortable charging you anything as long as you wouldn't sell shirts to other people. If anyone says it's cool, just send them to my Etsy, that'd be better payment than money. >>398444>>398452Here's a new thing I threw together today. I'm experimenting with some vintage color palettes. I think there's maybe too much negative space on the outside of this design but I couldn't make it work in a way that I liked.
>>398920>I don't think I'd feel comfortable charging you anything as long as you wouldn't sell shirts to other peopleThat's what I mean, how much would you charge for a design where I get the rights to produce it
>>398444What are posters like this made with? Do you make the text with Ilustrator and then bring them to Photoshop? Would you have to turn them into a PNG first?
>>399009I'm no expert so expect someone to correct me but you could do the whole thing in photoshop as far as I know.
>>398999you should make the anon an offer. teepublic gives $7 per t-shirt sold. other places the designer is making 50% if they go through the hassle of having their own ecommerce shop
>>399009i would do pics in PS and then make the poster in illustrator.
>>399017>you should make the anon an offer1$. If they want more than that they can let me know.
>>398745very cool
>>399040I mean 4chan isn't a great method of discussing like licensing fees or whatever but if you take one of my designs and sell shirts with it I'd like $10/shirt and you can charge whatever you'd like (I usually get away with between $20 and $40 depending on where you're selling and the quality of your print job). If you'd like my info we can actually talk via email about this kinda thing.
>>399068>but if you take one of my designs and sell shirts with it I'd like $10/shirtSo you're saying I'd get a design from you and you'd want $10 from every sale?kek
Found apophysis through that one thread and tried my hand at making a cover for my album/ep thing. I don't do graphic design stuff very often but I really enjoyed making this, fucking around in apophysis is incredibly entertaining. Now somebody tell me if this looks retarded or not

>>400001Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, LetGo, Nextdoor, OfferUp, and walking into places with my supply and going "Hey I sell these and I think your shop might want to sell them, too."
Complete novice here. My company spent 400 dollars sending me on an infographic course. No feedback given and only about an hour of hands-on photoshop work. Can you give me enough feedback that I can now actually do this for clients if I need to

Made this for fun. I only started graphic design recently, so I'm open to any feedback or pointers.
>>400588>>400589I like it a lot, but I feel the front and back covers should play off each other somehow, they're a bit too similar - like maybe, the backside is reflected, or the title is on the left? Just a thought, but overall the composition is well balanced and spaced.
not a professional by any means lol i havent cracked up photoshop in awhile>>400781really fucking cool

How is this graphical effect achieved (picrel)? This pattern of fine stripes, sometimes with some chromatic aberation fringes. I see it used a lot in some memes, but not sure what was used to get that effect.
>>401051One of the ways I used to achieve this graphic effect in Photoshop was that I'd create a layer, set my primary and secondary colors to pale, pale, pale yellow/green, and black, and then go into Filter Gallery and apply a halftone pattern line to the layer. Then I take the layer and I'd go into the blending options and usually pick linear light, or overlay, or whatever looked best for the image. You can take the layer underneath and duplicate it, then remove green in the blending options tab and move it like 20 pixels to the left. Then I flatten the whole thing and slice it and splice it. This is my end result. Sorry if there's actually some smart kid way to do this and I'm taking the long way and my advice is retarded. But I did this in like a minute just now.
i make this one, in my college days.i really miss to do this kind of works.i lost the feeling
>>401041you're just jealous of my sweet fotosop skills
dont want to make another thread but this seems like the most busy one. whats the best way at recreating some of these bakshi characters? i know that he rotoscoped all of these but what would i do to a still image in photoshop? just mess with the contrast and duotone it?
>>398713love it
>>400909Better than the Thankskilling one.Looks like you could have made this more interesting by pushing more towards a Matthew Richardson style
>>401060Me vine.
Doing generic designs - design a day and just dump them to society6 and redbubble, gonna try to generate some passive income
>>401444good job. double down, make an IG and an etsy to go along with it too. (throw in a tiktok with timelapses of your creation process and even better) thats what i plan on doing with all these things once i get into some uniform styles.
>>398801I like this. Have a (you) anon.
T-shirt idea referencing the new British coronavirus mutation I made for fun.

>>398458The Graffiti at the bottom is the best part. Were are in a post-legibility era. If you are under 30 you should know how to read graffiti other wise you're culturally illiterate
>>398474Nah, fucking awful.
>>398801this style is dead
>>400589Do you have any idea about the Smiths? LOL look at all their album and singles covers.
>>401060What was this made with, anon? Just photoshop or more?
my professor's a boomer. will he like this?
>>398779not enough contrast between the text and the background, the y2k style uses a lot of drop shadows so you should try that. Get rid of the impact font as well
>>402666also, it's somewhat unbalanced. either clear it up or try to utilize the space at the bottom somehow
>>402657I hate it but he might like it. The text box one up from the bottom on the right side, the one that's kind of bluish gray, you should change that color, or change the text color. I don't think there's enough contrast imo.
Lil pen thing I did
>>402689Oh anon this rules. Is this even /gd/ or is it /ic/?
>>402690My bad I might be retarded I didn't know that board existed.

thoughts on this thing i made the other day?
>>400028What inspired this?Does anyone have examples of good 'you're not alone' style health posters?
>>402744Reminds me of the Magma band logo.
>>400767Keep the red textured circle, it is a bit kitsch but I personally like it. Change the color of everything else with more basic color and remove the old granny blanket texture from the background it's just garbage. The distortion could be cool if the tiger had less colors. After you correct this check your whole list of font and play with it. And my advice as a fellow beginner is to make multiples variants of your personnal works to see what's working or not, also learn what is great about your favorites design, and I mean technically.
>>401060I feel you brah
current work in progress
I feel like I have an okay start here
a design I did for an inhouse event that was cancelled due to COVAIDS. Was supposed to be a generic info poster on the front and pic related for the back. Supervisor also pointed out some animals in here. Can (you) find them all?
>>401999kek I dig it.>>399930that's gorgeous. I really gotta learn to play with texture more
>>403089pretty decent, reminds me of the old Phoenix Coyotes logo(pretty sure theres a deer or moose or something in there)
>>403091>Tigerholy shit that's a new one to add to the list
>>403031Oh wow I've never heard of that band but you're right, it does. Most of my stuff is just geometry that people interpret however they'd like, I think that's what >>403089 did, too (I see some snakes up top btw). It's just some circles but also I was kiiiinda trying to make it look like an egg chair inside of an egg chair ad infinitum.
>>399625Whoa dude, really rocking the boat there.
>>402657Imitating the naive art that most people create intuitively / on accident is an incredibly fun process and difficult to get right. I love your post, good job

>>398920Do you have a store anywhere? I'd totally buy things like stickers and other such things from you.
>>403166Oh, thank you. I do have an Etsy where I'm running a 20% off sale right now when you use the coupon code NEWPROBLEMS. It's DoomsdayLLC, all my social media presence is that. I post too much about it on /gd/ to succeed at anonymity so I feel kind of embarrassed.
>>403242Thanks dude! Buying your stickers right now. I have quite a few of your designs saved cause I often use them for inspiration when working on my own projects. I thought I'd at least slide you some bread for all the cool work you do.
Fuckin around with sticker designs, will probably make more and sell them. Also wanna get into making t-shirts for possible side money. If anyone has tips I'd love to hear it.
>>403440Love it.
