How do people create mockups?
I'm trying to find a digibook mockup template, but can't seem to find anything, so I think I might try to make my own. Not really sure how to do it though
>>
something like what you have there is a photo that someone's shot, or a 3d render.

You can either make your own by doing what >>397712 said, or find ones online. Mockuptree has plenty of free options

Thanks for the replies. What software is best for making my own? I've never done this sort of thing before, but I'm eager to learn.

It's usually done via smart objects in PS

Don't. It's a waste of fucking time. Just search harder and pay $15 for one on CreativeMarket. Mockups are only for presenting your work in a portfolio or to clients. No one will know nor care you made the mockup yourself.

OP if you're still looking for it, just use Adobe Dimension. Create the vector in illustrator then import as an active on dimension

efficiency is key.

It's always a 3D render that you make in Cinema 4D, then you export a few angles and overlay your design / placeholder with Smart Objects in Photoshop.
