Windows-tier shit. Get the fuck outta here. Even LTSC recently downloaded some Windows Backup crap by itself. Not to mention networkmanager shit the bed as the update was installing. Literally just use Arch or Debian. YaST is useless bloat. They can shove their German autism up their fucking ass and stare at its remnants on their shit inspection shelf the next day.

just blacklist those patterns?
alternatively change the config to not do auto-install for recommended packages
>>
>>96089624
It used to be with TW that the only supported update method was zypper dup. Has that changed for TW/Slowroll?

does mpv work for you?

I haven't yet used a distro where GUI package management wasn't somehow broken. Good thing you can just remove all of that and use the CLI instead.

only installed it once when I was like 12 because I bought it locally because it was the only linux in the computer store back then I read about it on the net. downloading would have taken too long

fedora sir. the problem is that you have to use gnome sir

Funny enough, that's the one distro I used for years. Half the time gnome-software would just hang with a white screen. Clicking install would sometimes not do anything. PackageKit would leave tens of gigabytes worth of temp files on my hard drive. I heard something about it pulling in Flatpaks instead of RPMs and running updates on reboot/shutdown, Windows style. It's just not worth the frustration when you can just dnf install/upgrade.

>you have to use gnome
No, you don't. You don't need GUI package management either.

>Windows Backup crap
When? I don't have that.
