They are all fine. Tanya is pretty comfy all around, not so micro small like Quarks, sounds a bit better too. Regular 3.5mm is a bit bloated mid bass, but can see picrel for a helluva match overall to newer B&K target. DSP version is thicc Harman (I think adjustable in Tanchjim app like One?? not sure). Tanchjim One and Zero honestly are on the weaker side of universal ergonomics, but they can work fine for some people (me included), One is the new hot babe on the block. Final IEMs (E500, E2000, etc) strengths are mids, not so much the bass. I like Final E-tips, but I don't gush over them like some people. You may like em or think they're meh

I think you should get your ears camera'd (not cleaned since the sucking/vacuum thing they use can damage hearing hair cells). don't do the sound check thing too since they would play loud as shit fuck thing from test that might worsen your condition.
other than that my general advice is regeneration of hair cells.
buy clinically approved vitamin B complex and take them.
eat seeds preferably sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds - you can buy them roasted and (machine-)peeled.
you may want to add bird's eye chili on your diet if you can.
also a good idea to make sure you actually don't have upper teeth infection that causes inflammation on ears
chewing gum may also improve the muscle area around ears and may improve hearing
as you may see, the reason for seed diet and chili is because it's bird diet. high pitched small animals have good hearing due to their diet so doing the same actually provides the same minerals, vitamins, fats needed for ear regeneration

NTA but I actually prefer this tuning on mine, I sometimes push bass to +30dB from the straight line. bad seal is not bad since the only way you can hear 20kHz is to actually have bad seal. I can't hear 20kHz if I have complete seal and so much worse can't hear up to 18kHz with a foam tip. it has something to do with impeding nature of having no room for air and iem diaphragm to move.
I can hear 20kHz sine with the IEM 1 inch away from my ears but the IEM at 80-90% volume.

You're straight up trolling. The signal they gave me was within safe levels, and they don't test above 8k anyway bc of the HRTF and etc, you know the drill. I listened to REW a couple of times and i legit can't hear anything that goes above 7k except 13k and 17-18k (honestly can't remember) .

I think it's either genetics or head trauma. If I lost my hearing from listening to music loudly - I would also lose hearing in the lower frequencies due to the frequent presence of bass boost, wouldn't I?

Had the 1More Triple Drivers for years. I don't know people's impressions of them, but I tend to enjoy even hip hop songs more when I adjusted the sub-bass down a few. More clarity and emphasis on the vocals would be nice. They were all right and I liked the passive isolation enough.

I run a pawn shop and got a pair of Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones today. Boxed and sealed from a regular so I didn't put him through the regular routine of testing his shit, the headphones have more value new anyway.

To make a long story short these are beyond terrible. I was going to give them to my son but he gave them back saying he thought they were fake, and after listening, I agreed. But everything else made sense, the serial number checks out, they sync automatically with iOS devices and I've tested the original Beats wireless which whilst being nothing to write home about were not nearly as laughably bad as these are. I don't know how a company can develop a product for some 3 years and make the next iteration both dramatically worse and more expensive. The ONE thing Beats had going for them sonically was punchy bass, which is nonexistent in this model. I know most of you already expect similar results this is just a cautionary tale for anyone who wants a pair of good looking headphones and is willing to have mediocre sound as a result -- these are not even mediocre. I have $25 sennheiser earbuds with a wider soundstage and punchier bass. This product is not just bad, it is legitimately criminal. I feel bad putting them in the window for sale and will warn anyone who comes to buy them of the horror that is this headphones resolution. I WISH they were fake.

my experience with hexa is that it's not like it sounds like the bass is absent from the music, i.e. tonal balance does not skew towards shrill and lean, but it's rather that the bass is very soft and impactless. it's entirely heard and never felt. i think eq wouldn't change that since it probably comes from the fact that their midrange ba contributes a lot to the bass playback in the crossover. for that reason i'd recommend hexa mostly for analytical listening and acoustic or jazz music. not that it will sound bad with other genres but it's definitely missing a fun factor you may want. on the other hand if excessive bass bothers you hexa is good at keeping you from being distracted by it without making the music sound too thin.

I'm looking for an Amp/DAC I guess because my auxiliary input on my computer went to shit. I have a Moondrop Click dongle and wondered if I would benefit from the Dawn Pro or get a Topping DX1 for my desktop. Right now headphone wise I have Moondrop Quarks, Grado Sr80e, and Sennheiser 6xx's. I have Moon Drop Nekocakes and Sony WH-1000xM4 for out of house and about.

Bass is fine and true to graph. It plays isolated up to 300hz and then is scooped down to flat. Benefits are larger bass quantity without as much mud and bloat, and increased contrast. Cons are non-linear tonality and transition in mid bass to mids, but being fair nobody seeking accuracy should consider this ofc.
Main issue is forward upper mids. Not a set for high volume listening. When I desire more bass and push the volume, upper mids shout is revealed: female vocal glare, un-natural instrument tonality, etc. At the edge of being thin and shrill (a line crossed if the switches are not in 1100).
The forward presentation continues in lower treble, but thankfully does not worsen with absurd high frequency spikes. Upper treble is actually tamed at the expense of some resolution.
In all, bass gimmick and nothing more. The bass hits with deep authority, and you get to keep decently clean mids. The upper end sound is poor. It's not a quality 8mm driver producing the rest of frequency response. Higher volume makes it harsh and grating. Vocals are on the razor's edge of shout, cymbals and high frequency percussion are not natural or hi-fi, they are blunted and splashy.
I'd say at most you save a few bucks buying it over Khan. Irrelevant otherwise. Another KZ fart in the wind. Look out for the next mediocre effort in a week. Suck my cock Tyvan.
