Why everybody pretends that using arch is some arcane knowledge? Well, you certanly need to know a little more about your computer, but if you are not a grandma you'll learn it eventually anyway. Arch doesn't require you to build the whole system from scratch, you just choose what building blocks you want and it does everything for you, and some things (like systemd) are already there and don't require your attention.

If you can’t spend a minute reading pacman’s output then no it’s not going to be mouth breather friendly. The arch wiki is one of the few things on Linux that rivals Microsoft in terms of documentation.
