At this point, only a complete rewrite can save KDE. Considering what a buggy mess this shit is, I'd recommend Rust.

I have only had sddm problems, which were fixed by removing caps in usernames.
But for the most part..... Not bad.
I prefer ir over gnome.

wayland fault

It's plasma, noob. And stop trying to use it in that fucking cancerous Wayland. It even sucks in the fucking desktop it's designed to run in (Gnome).

KDE is so buggy it's unreal.
The worst part about it is the fanboys who pretend not to see any bugs, like a cult or something.
>>
>>88027973
>pretend not to see any bugs,
I think they really don't see them because there are so many that it became normal, same with windows fanboys.

for me? its ubuntu 22.04 lts with gnome on xorg

The state of KDE fags.

KDE looks and works the nicest but it breaks all the time for me. Unironically had to go back to Foot just so I could stop having to fix shit constantly

That's a good machine you got there, very nice!

No it's not lmfao. Have you ever run GNOME in Wayland? It's a fucking bliss. Plasma on the other hand, is a nightmare on both X and Wayland.

Plasma on Wayland works fine(same as gnome, as long as you don't own nvidia gpu).

No it doesn't, a lot of blur.

Why would you use a ripoff windows, when you can use the real deal?

What do you mean? I use it on my ryzen 5300U everything looks fine, it's more stable(less bugs on new releases than the x.org variant), even works faster/uses less power.
>>
Been using it with Wayland for since 5.24 now. Not a single Crash.

But they should really stop adding new features until they fix the known bugs.

Anti-Linux trolls are always at least 10 years out of date with every single fucking thing.

From my experience, you get the same type of random bugs in both GNOME and KDE. You trade.

I'm using KDE now and some windows will complete disappear when I'm unsnapping or moving them. It's impossible to log off on Kubuntu and KDE hangs on Neon. Surprisingly, it works flawlessly on Arch.

GNOME has graphical glitches and won't turn the screen off if it locks with a full-screen video. It's inconsistent.

Everything lacks polish on Linux. Get used to it.
>>
>>88033252
>surprisingly it works flawlessly on arch
Youre a retard. It works flawlessly because Arch has a newer version than Kubuntu. Recent KDE versions are very very very fucking stable lately, and Kubuntu is too out of date to keep them in the repos.
Gentoo is the same way because it is also rolling release.
>t. >>88033248
Plasma has eclipsed GNOME in stability in many ways recently.

>>88026569
Considering how shitty rust is, I think rust should be rewritten in Java.

KDE on debian stable is a bit buggy but no crashes
>>
>>88026558
Once the debfags get their repos up to speed, KDE will prove to be a much better experience on deb distros
>>
>>88034086
It would have been "up to speed" if they didn't kick the guy that was keeping it up to date out. He still maintains a repo for Debian now even though he himself isn't even running it anymore.
>>
>>88026558
Yes.
Kde - krashes, gnome - autistically lacking, xfce - old, mate - ugly, cinnamon - heavy, others - utter trash.
X11 - piece of old broken crap, Wayland - piece of "modern" broken shit.
Linux - corporate server os, windows - corporate beta test, mac - corporate gay butt plug, bsd - unusable, everything else - toy junk.
Internet - plague. Software - bloated mess. PCs - overpriced scrap.
It's all the same. It's all piece of rubbish.
Everything massively created and adopted by humans is rubbish. Humans is fundamentally broken, ugly, dirty psychos.

Have a nice day.
