Why don't browsers use the TPM to allow websites to uniquely identify your pc? Imagine if we could ban people on 4chan with the only way to evade by using a different computer.

>unplug TPM from motherboard
>buy new TPM from ebay for $15 free shipping
that's cheaper than buying a 4chanpass, and none of the money goes to hiroshima. so of course it will never happen
>>
>he doesn't use swtpm for ban evasion
>>
>>85229487
Won't work since that will break any app on your PC that uses the TPM, including possibly the OS itself. It's also a pain in the ass because you would have to do soldering. Basically, 99% of ban evaders wouldn't go through the work.
>>
>>85229468
>banned
>close VM
>make new VM
>unplug the router for ~10 seconds
>plug it back
>go to 4chabscajn
>>

Doesn't change the TPM. And tpm emulation can be detected.
>>
I think google works on this

Lmao. All you have to do is unplug the old TPM and plug the new one back in. Imagine being a pleb that uses a new CPU with a built in Teepeeemm. Imagine being a cuck that uses Wangblows 11 instead of Wangblows 7even.

Almost everyone on earth uses a phone and laptop. Desktops are super rare. And amongst those desktops, tpms are built into the mobo.

And even then, costing a user $15 every time they get banned is a huge deterrent.
>>
>>85229487
and it doesnt require crypto. maybe i would buy 4chan pass if they allowed credit card
>>
>>85229552
>tpm emulation can be detected
No it fucking can't
>>
>>85229468
Because they can't guarantee more than 1% of people will have TPM available.
>>
>>85229487
Run emulated TPM in virtual machines instead. VMs are a requirement of modern computing so that means OS must run not just under emulation but on a variety of VM platforms.

Autism explains everything. 4chan is our LIFE. Without it we'd never be off grindr

You will never be a jannitor, please kys.
>>

because someone could just modify the code to send fake data, which is what any privacy browser would do. You cant fake an ip, you can only change it to another real one.
