Actually tried to sign on to AOL 5.0 with a proper modem
I seriously wonder how alone I am to hear that sound from actual hardware in 2021

It's so fucking scary how Windows 10 has been around for nearly 7 years. I remember that annoying pop up telling you to upgrade, you also got a beta version of Minecraft Windows 10 edition for free.

Fansites were fun. Now everything's just centralized into fanwiki or social media and nobody interesting stuff like pic related anymore.

It's all fun and games until you actually get paid money to create things for a company that they have to rely on every single day with that fucking shit language that was basically made to fuck around in and was never really meant for anything professional.
I still get PTSD from seeing that shit. Thanks a fucking lot.

unironically the 2014 Technical Previews were good and where it should have been left. It all went downhill from there.

Create your own fansite then.

You can say it anon. I literally just migrated to Windows 10 three months ago after having been on Windows 7 for almost 12 years, and then it dawned on me that I was upgrading to an OS that was about to be superseded in a couple of months and that I’d only have support for another four years or so. Fucking hell time flies. With any luck Windows 11 will be less shit in a few years from now.

My Windows 7 install was actually still good for security updates until Feb 2022 but ran into an SSD failure on my boot SSD and figured it was high time I left Windows 7 behind (I had a two year ESL extended support license on it). I wonder if Microsoft will do something similar for Windows 10 (extended security updates); because it seems like it’ll take more years for Windows 11 to become less shit.

It's pretty much guaranteed. Enterprise love forcing themselves in the corner, so there's little chance we won't see ESRs for Win10.

there's no point. Before the hellscape of the internet we are in right now, search engines actually found fan websites frequently. Nobody is going to visit those pages, because everything is stacked against them.

I remember using this to make some crappy games with my friend when we were 14. Good times. My sprite art was god awful, we used random midis and pirated songs as music, 99% of the stuff that we made was basically cobbled together with no logic at all and we loved every single moment of it.

I've actually used Omega Drivers, it was alternative to clusterfuck that was official drivers with CCC written in .NET when you had like 256 mb RAM at the time (it was slow to start and laggy as fuck). Driver package was sub20mb as well.

Omegle Drivers usually came out after most of the GPUs they supported were already deprecated
They were poorfag option to push more performance out of a dead platform
