Yep the flip is a dumb gimmick. It's nothing like an old flip phone and just a waste of resources. If they truly wanted people to have a compact useful phone they would make the S21e with 5.7-5.8inch display.

this is such a stupid and not true shitpost. Like yeah, there are some features or more ram or whatever on android phones with the same price, but most of the time they are just fully shit or annoying to deal with. My dad is always muh samsung and that thing is incredibly unintuitive. Changed like 3 times the whole design with updates.

Some friends of mine, in my early 20's, always were like nah man muh sony muh android. The second he now got a good paying job he got a iphone 11.
>>
>>83389329
Sounds like a (You) problem and dirty pin socket although a better choice would be xiaomi/redmi variants.
>suddenly shuts down
Looks like chang ebay seller took the real battery out and replaced by fake battery. Common occurrence if you don't source your shit directly from xiaomi official store. Also watch out, they kinda use miracle and patch the phones with spyware the reason why xiaomi added a 15-day unlock timer which is to prevent resellers from tampering the global rom with spyware/keylogger system app.
Only buy from xiaomi stores.

First of all the Sony's cost more than an iPhone 11. Second of all most people love some change once in a while. Even I'm tempted to go for an iPhone as my next one just for some change but only if they make sideloading a build in feature.
>but most of the time they are just fully shit or annoying to deal with.
Straight up coping lies again... Maybe stop buying random unknown brands?
>My dad is always muh samsung and that thing is incredibly unintuitive. Changed like 3 times the whole design with updates.
The design changed a bit but it's literally the exact same as years ago. If you cry about this then you need to seek help. You stil navigate it the exact same way

Do you know what cope means? If I was coping I could just get a Pixel 4 for £300 and no longer cope.
Specifically, apps using the camera use an APK that's different from using the camera so photo taken within Whatsapp, Instagram, etc look like utter shit.
My Huawei earphones (that don't even have an app on the iOS appa store) wouldn't restart audio with a double-tap on a few of my apps whereas it works fine on iOS ( this could be RAM management?).
My banking apps, camera connecting apps, shopping apps and even Twitter are just cleaner, snappier and more polished on iOS.
I would prefer to have a fingerprint scanner and a 4chan app those are the only thing I miss from Android.

Need to replace my beaten up Redmi Note 5 Pro/Ai/whatever.

Camera, battery life, lineageos and value for money are what I care about.

Was thinking about a Pixel 6 but I break phones a lot and get bored of them, so the 5 years of updates will be wasted on me.

I'd prefer under £350 so it costs less to replace it, but at this point I'd pay more to stop checking GSMArena for the next coolest phone

If I want to browse 4chan I honestly just put the phone down and use my desktop.

I like my iPhone 6s, it’s almost 6 years old and still gets updates, but like all smartphones it’s basically a toy computer, like a little kiddy joke. It boggles my mind that people get so bent out of shape over what mobile OS you use when smartphones are either total time-wasters or corporate drone summoners. If you’re in your house they aren’t nearly as functional as a computer with a mouse, keyboard and monitor, and when you’re outside you probably should not be browsing 4chan or otherwise wasting time constantly. The only people who give a shit about these idiotic slabs are either zoomies or pajeets.

I had a Blackberry Bold 9900 for the longest time (2011 to 2021). That phone took me through high school, university and my first job. While not strictly a dumbphone, it definitely began to feel like a dumbphone after 2013-2014 as everyone steadily dropped support. I only used it for calls and texts, so I didn't really care.

My friend gave me his iPhone SE for free after he upgraded to an iPhone 12 Mini (just had to change out the dead battery). I resisted newer smartphones for so long but I actually really like the SE. The phone is small and it's fairly durable, the design is what you might call "classic". Keyboard is ass compared to the Blackberry but not like there are any real alternatives now and you get used to it quickly. It's not like the SE can compete with a €13 phone if all you do is call and text, but having access to WhatsApp, Google Maps, etc is pretty cool.

I have a legit question. I’m in Japan, but I’ll be importing a phone from US so I can still take escalator upskirts of jk. I’ve had an iPhone X for four years, and it just werks but I’m feeling pretty annoyed with how locked down iOS is. I came from a Galaxy S7 before this, so I’m thinking about switching back to Android. I’m considering
>iPhone 13 Pro
>Xperia 1 III
>Pixel 6
My main concern is the camera. I have a DSLR but I do take photographs with my phone pretty regularly as a hobby.

How is a Snoy’s Android experience? Will I be regretting not getting a Pixel? I like the overall body and specs so not worried about the meme shape.

So it's come time for me to move on from my Blackberry Classic and it has this neat quirk where I can choose any audio file to use as a ringtone. As far as I can tell, that's not a feature that shows up in any of those three links in the OP, so I can't search for that. I know there are a bunch of guides out there for converting files into something that you can force a phone to accept, but are there any modern phones that let me do it Blackberry style and just pick any regular file? >>83396328
Yeah the original 2016 SE. It's completely usable. I installed a $30 Chink 1800 mAh battery (the original was 1500 or 1600 I believe) and it usually still has 30-40% charge at 11pm after a day of normal usage. If I use it sparingly, it will last 2-3 days on a charge. At first I thought this was just normal for modern smartphones because my Blackberry would normally last 2 days with typical usage and 5 days with light usage, but according to my Android buddies, this endurance is insane for something with such a small battery.

Now imagine if Apple stopped their relentless pursuit of "muh thin" and just made a nice, thicc iPhone with a beefy battery. Fucker would go all week. But no, we need tiny batteries because thin is good, and we need to squander all the power efficiency we so painstakingly engineered.

Is there any way to get a boot-looping LGnexus 5x to not bootloop long enough to rip data off of it's storage? I've got some recordings of my now-dead grandmother on there that are invaluable.

I got my cash from the class action suit etc, so I'm not upset or anything, but I was going through my old stuff and realized I didn't get those recordings off it before it started to go.

I'm running xubuntu and I know how to fuck around with ADB. I'm willing to heat the phone up or part of it whatever if I can get like an hour or two of time to get in, get my shit, and get out. Pretty sure the bootloader is unlocked.

Anyone ever had this problem/have any suggestions?
I have a galaxy note 4 that i use as a backup phone/dick around notepad. After using it for a bit, about a 1cm tall strip of screen horizontally stops responding to touch. pen still works, the display still works, and all other touch input works, but that part seems to skip. Turning it completely off for a while seems to fix it for a while, but then it happens again.
I tried doing that "update touchscreen firmware" thing with the dialer menu, and that undid it for a while, but it came back.
Any suggestions as to what it might be?

I'm thinking of preordering the 13 Mini today.
Please give me your most pessimistic take the 12 Mini's battery - and will the advertised extra 1 hour of battery life on the 13 Mini solve it?

I'm the same 5 year old iPhone 7 poster with 80% battery life poster. I'm always very conscious about its battery life whenever I go outside, and I try not to leave the house without it at 100% otherwise I only ever use it if I have to such as for communication or maps.
Will I still have to keep worrying about the phone dying once I hop on the 13 Mini?

I'd love to be able to be free of having to worry about leaving the house with only 50% battery life, while I can still keep music+bluetooth+mobile data on.

gf has the standard 12 and honestly after using my 7 for 5 years, I think the mini is the perfect size (bigger screen but smaller phone overall).

I cope with my cock's girth being larger than her wrists. Am I doing it right?

Just saw the one for the 12 Mini. Seems fine, as long as it can last through a day of normal use.
>>
Just ordered the normal Galaxy S21 with Exynos 2100. Literally got it cheaper than the S10e lol. Anyone have it? How's it like. I paid 350euro from my carrier with a special deal

I got a new phone to replace my G7 because the battery started to die. I got a new battery for it, but now I'm stock with a phone I don't really know what to do with.

Has anyone used these Sony view cover cases? Thinking about getting one for a xperia 10 ii, but is it good?

I would never use a case with a cover, that shit is annoying as fuck.

There's no reason your phone couldn't have a headphone jack. https://youtu.be/Ijssm6Qv5nE?t=857

Xiaomi phones have bad resale value. My Note 9s was bought for $225 and now its ~$120
Buy something with a removable battery like a Motorola or something.
>>
>>83412233
Really small. Minimum screen size for me would be 5 inch so my cock can stack up
>>
>>83419103
It can't be worse than the S10e Exynos right? That one was pretty alright. All I care for is battery life and mrwhostheboss did a test showing the Snapdragon and this drain the exact same

We did it kings!

All Androids have poor resale value

For 350€ I would be happy about it, Exynos or not. Battery life should be better than S10e, at least based on GSMarena's and Notebookcheck's battery tests.

Samsung icons look so ugly is there a way to change them to look more like Google stock?

the battery life increases on the 13 alone justify going with it over the 12
>>
>>83419924
??? these two generations are barely different, i see no reason to spend 25% more on the newer one when it'll be just as "outdated" come next year
>>
>>83419975
Thats comparing the 13 Pro to the 12 Pro MAX, which as you may know has a significantly bigger battery.
>>
What is the best cheap phone under $300? (under 400 at most). I can't decide between Oneplus, Motorola, Nokia, TCL. They all have so many phones around the same specs at very different prices. I can't use Pixel 4a or I would.
>>
>>83420023
yes, and?
if i cared about battery life i wouldn't be looking at iphones

Dunno about clover anymore but in kuroba you can set dead zones for just that. Handy for pulling the left drawer out.

In samsung phones, the phone app has settings to auto block fraud calls. I used to be buzzed all the time but not anymore. Pixel phones apparently have that too but I've never owned or tested that
