Why is it to easy to Pirate?
>>
>>81453028
The sub fee is a smokescreen. They make all their money harvesting user data.
>>
>>81453070
Worth it,it has no equal.
>>
real pirates torrent and cost the industry billions.
you are cringe
>>
>>81453028
I have never considered pirating spotify. Just torrent the flacs and be done with it.
>>
>>81453028
Pirating spotify? What's the point. Just use soulseek. I'ts like an old fashioned music sharing software but new and literally every song is on there. Even ones that aren't on youtube.
>>
>>81453028
Because normies who use it are too normie to pirate anyway, so they might as well give it away to the 0.01% who does
>>
>>81453933
this.
>>
>>81453028
Just use Freezer, it can even stream and download flacs
>>
>>81453028
how do you do it?
>>
Just torrent your media, retard.
>>
>>81453908
Where? Cant find a good place that is not a private tracker
>>
>>81454520
>that is not a private tracker
what's wrong with them
>>
>>81453028
Most of the Anglosphere and Japan are using iphones. That is where the ad revenue and the app buyers are.

Just torrent it.
Your favourite artists get absolutely fuck all from streaming revenue, it all goes into the pockets of greedy record labels. Pirate all your music then see the bands you like live or buy merch.

>>81454520
rutracker

spotify doesnt even have flac its just 320. might as well get torrent rips
>>
>>81455002
>it's JUST the bitrate human ears can't differentiate from FLAC
>>
>>81453028
I just keep using spotify because all my data are there and i have to find a way to export my playlist and stuff.

Also any nice /g/ playlist ? what are you listening too when code ?
>>
Why is their app slow as shit. Doesn't matter what device, always takes seconds to load the playlists. Have they not heard of caching?
>>
>>81454618
I can smell the spyware from here
>>
>>81453028
does anybody know a good spotify ripper?
>>
>>81455180
Use this:
https://github.com/xManager-v2/xManager-Spotify
>>
>>81453088
grooveshark died for this
>>
>>81454618
this seems sketchy.
just install the apk from mobilism or better use freezer, since you can stream and download flacs
>>
>>81453088
>not discovering your music by labels and (sub-)genres you like and instead letting some algorithms feed you.
>not keeping your music on a drive and playing it through a normal music player
>>
>>81455909
>flac from freezer
found the retarded, lol.
>>
>>81455002
kys flactard
>>
>>81453430
oh no i might cost the millionaire white old assholes some money while they fuck artists sideways
>>
>>81456360
enjoy your botnet then retard
>>
>>81453028
an anon once posted about a python tool that reads the songs in a given playlist and then searches for them on youtube and downloads them
can that be done?
>>
>>81455248
So no source code for the app itself?
I hope you're the dev, otherwise enjoy your data breach
>>
>>81457742
>So no source code for the app itself?
I mean, how? Spotify developed the app and they haven't posted a source code for it. There's nothing to be done.
>I hope you're the dev
I'm not.
>otherwise enjoy your data breach
?
You can use burner account with a throwaway mail to register for modded Spotify.
>>
>>81455189
came here to ask this
noteburner did a shit job for me, random skips in tracks
>>
>>81457512
why would you download from youtube?
>>
>>81453967
This is right answer
>>
The only reason I stopped torrenting music is because of how annoying it is to listen to new stuff while on the go (which is 80% of my listening time).
>>
>>81454659
This.
>>
>>81457833
why not?
youtube-dl works flawlessly
>>
>>81458025
192kbps bitrate is the absolute maximum quality achievable
at least you can get 320kbps mp3 with spotify
>>
>>81457804
I'm not talking about the account. I'm talking about the app gathering your data behind you.
>>
>>81453028
They made that way cause leet haxxing
>>
>>81454659
>Your favourite artists get absolutely fuck all from streaming revenue, it all goes into the pockets of greedy record labels. Pirate all your music then see the bands you like live or buy merch.

What about unsigned artists?

>see the bands you like live

That's kind of not really possible right now thanks to current events.
>>
>>81458571
>What about unsigned artists?
They won't be signed up to big record labels so it matters less, most will sell on Bandcamp which is a far better deal (although still not great). I think bands that fall under this category will benefit from merch sales the most regardless.

>That's kind of not really possible right now thanks to current events.
Yeah true and unfortunate live music has been really hit by the rona, looking forward to live venues opening where I live (few months).
>>
>>81456261
It's because I dont have to hunt for mp3s of my favorite songs and albums. I can literally listen to any song I want any time because of this program. Honestly Spotify is the only company Id willingly give my money to on a daily basis, their products are superb.

t. used to be an apple musicfag
>>
>>81453088
Musi on iOS, works for me.
>>
>>81458426
Well, that's what you get for using Spotify. Luckily you don't have to do that. There are modified Deezer apks that work pretty much the same and you can always get music from rutracker or Soulseek which have pretty much everything you'd imagine.
https://www.xda-developers.com/warden-open-source-app-aurora-store-disable-trackers-loggers/
This app can disable in-app trackers, so that can help.
>>
>>81459042
I was talking about the modder, not the jews.
>>
>>81455002
I prefer FLAC but 320 is good to go.
>>
>>81458025
youtube audio quality is terrible
>>
I just rip my shit from Deezer/Tidal/Qobuz
>>
>>81459084
What about modders?
>>
>>81459135
Most of the time they put in even worse shit like crypto miners. They might even get other permissions to access your account/files
>>
>>81459174
I don't know about that, nothing of the sort was ever a thing on mobilism forums. Not sure about other places.
>>
Sorry plebs, I only listen FLAC.
Can't have this low bitrate shit ruin my ear drums
>>
>>81456261
Not doing all three
