how many GBs do I have to write a day to shorten the lifespan of a modern SSD?
There's literally a statement on the spec, TBW
i had os ssd since early 2010s and it still works, so must be a lot
about tree fiddy
>SSD>lifespanThe only "lifespan" is the one (((they))) program into the disks so they become corrupt and you go purchase more of their garbage.
Google the TBW for that drive and waste GBs accordingly. My MX500 has about 200 or so.
>>81049173says 1,200 here, seems a bit low desu
>>81048269Ive got a chink SSD drive which I have been using since 2012. No problems so far.

>>81048269every single bit you write shortens the lifespan, so one bit.
>>81048269You'll likely get a newer SSD before your current one stops.SSD lifespan is grossly underestimated by neckbeards.
