GCC is a bitch and a half, and maybe if I'd gotten it working back in febuary I wouldn't still be on gentoo.
I switched to Linux 3 weeks ago. Haven't done much to i3 and I really need to change my terminal's look.
>>81030507One thing I liked about Gentoo is how easy it made it to switch gcc versions. Made it possible to build the tripcode crackersThis would have actually been way harder/more annoying on other distros: https://blog.jmthomas.tech/building-merikens-tripcode-engine-on-linux-in-2020/

>>81030660did u at least change ur terminal so u can copy paste with ctrl + shift + c / v, instead of ctrl/shift + insertalso u can change to xfce4-terminal
>>81030673I just used some shitty python script for my trip. But eselect is very useful, although imo it could be done much simpler. In the system I'm working on it uses xstow(I will probably change this to stow) in order to handle symlinks in much the same manner, but as the main package format for everything. Really I got most the difficulty down gcc is the only major roadblock for me because the Makefile just wont work.
>>81030763your trip is also lame and unimpressive tho
Any of you have a problem with the gtk3 file picker dialog being created too big in i3? What's the fix? Changing org.gtk.Settings.FileChooser.window-size doesn't do anythibg because the file chooser just changes it.

In FVWM I currently use "Decor" style * UseDecor DecorNameto change the Window decoration that I'm currently using, I do the same with modules (panels and other things)Does any anon know how I would somehow save the current decor that I'm using so that if I would restart my computer it would still use the same decoration that I've used before I restarted my computer instead of always going back to the default?
