My monitor keeps popping this menu up. What's wrong with it?
>>80347936Stop pressing the menu button.
>>80347952I'm not even touching it. it randomly shows it then blinks a few times then it goes away then it starts popping up randomly again. started happening today. did its chip go bad or something?
>>80347980Nothing else is touching it by accident?
>>80347996no, it's mounted on an arm, there's nothing but air around the menu buttons
>>80348069The button is sticking. Clean the housing you grubby piece of shit.
>>80347936>What's wrong with it?It was made by Acer.
>>80348146I pressed the buttons a few times in hopes it would "unpress" whatever it seems to think is pressed. stopped for now, let's see. don't see how dirt could be a factor here, the buttons take some effort to press, not touch screen
>>80347980you broke the button with your fat fingers, now you get ghost presses
>>80347936>>80347945>>80347952>>80347980>>80347996It's too late, it's already making mustard gas
>>80347980Ended up having a monitor with this same issue at work. Just kept popping up even after draining power. Ended up RMAing it since it was under warranty and it hasn't done it since. I don't know what they did.
>>80347936holy cringe.maybe your fat disgusting fingers broke the cheap chink button. dumb mutt

>>80347936Shitty acer monitor, throw it in the fucking garbage and get a real one. What seems to be happening is the button that makes the monitor settings pop up is busted or the monitor's software to control the brightness, etc. Is bugged. The root of the problem is Acer is shit.

>>80347936The button broke and it gets pressed randomly, this happened to me in my old monitor that went on randomly when I powered it off.
