They are waterproof (just not submerge proof) so I wear them in the shower every day too. Not an audiophile, just use them for podcasts, but sound great to me. To be able to ftp a large video file from my computer to phone and navigate to it using a simple file manager (that let's me go to every location on my device including app config/ system folders etc.) and open in vlc is so liberating. Of course I wouldn't recommend my wife, my parents, or anyone not in Tech/IT. But if you understand the risks and don't just go randomly installing APKs from places you can't trust then Android is def way more liberating.
