Right? Not going to argue the utility of EDC items, but when people post their CARRY here or on leddit and it's dozens of items, I can only think that I have literally never seen a well adjusted, attractive looking man carrying that kind of shite. Is this more popular IRL in the States or is it a doomsday prepper thing, where the autists never use 99% of their EDC purchases outside of their basements?

Shit OP. News is useful.

Redmi Airdots https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32995475769.html

Pros:
Sound is acceptable
Range and connection are good
Cheap and widely available.

Cons:
Loud clicky buttons.
Controls are limited out of the box, only assistant and play/pause. Macrodroid helps.
Microphone is terrible unless you're in a quiet room.

800x300 mousepad https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32993335597.html

Plain black, no literally who branding on it. Smells less like Chinese factory than a Steelseries one. Edges were wavy at first, but have flattened out over a week.

Only you can make the decision to motivate yourself anon, buying shit in place of effort is the classic consumerist downfall and you'll see no end of it here. Despite that, as someone that has been reading a lot in the past year and a lazy fag, I have really enjoyed the convenience of an ebook reader. Much easier to pickup and read for a few minutes in between things.
>>
>>71822417

Not sure exactly what you're asking honestly but I would personally just get a Kobo or even a Kindle if it's cheap where you live and you want eink. Chinks have lots of ebook readers but the 1st party stuff is better and still relatively cheap.
>>71822921
What phone? I clattered my Pixel XL about a dozen times when I was in hospital a couple weeks ago, several shaved areas and no screen damage.

Actually pretty good for the price if you want LED fans then. Obviously quality will be sub par but it's not like most people even need case fans to start with.

>>71824756
Do you mean like a "smart" head unit or just an old school CD and MP3 player thing? If you're okay with limited features and dubious quality of experience, I'd say it's 100% worth it for a chink Android one, especially if you have an older car. It'll be janky but can't argue with the price.
>>
>>71824744
Topping DACs are okay and FiiO make a few headphone amps that people here rate. If you mean integrated amps to drive speakers, any Chinese amp is going to be a lot cheaper and nastier than shit you can get cheaper from Goodwill. You're going to have to spend if you want magic audiophile powers so buying chink shit is kind of redundant if that's what you want.
>>
>>71824946
I was thinking of copping a more fancy one that's double din and has Bluetooth. I just want something for BT music and Android auto would be cool if within my budget. There are some neat $50-70 ones that I'm looking at with a decent IPS screen and dashcam support (which is also something I'd like)
>>
>>71825042
I live in a third world shithole so brand equipment is out of the question. I also don't chase audiophile meme. Chink Philips Shp9500 for 70 bucks seems like a good deal so i was wondering if i could find decent amp + dac combo for ~100 bucks.
>>
>>71812343 here.
Took it out for a test run to check out the battery life on the buds. It pairs quickly out of the case. It lasts for a good 5.5 to 6 hours, or at least, that's how long it took for me to hear the "Battery Low" 'Notification. Admittedly you do feel it in your ears at times, but it's not noticeable most of the time.

Have all the things you guys ordered during sale arrive already? I got everything I ordered.
Earbud foam covers - they are orange, they fit my Monks fine and are comfortable in the ear.
Ruizu X02 - works fine, battery is rather good for the price. Music sounds completely different than from PC on the same headphones, it has a different soundstage, feels less muted.
Hugsby P32 - typical LED flashlight, powered by single AA battery. No lens in it, so most if the light is focused in one bright spot in the middle, with darker spots around it. Bright enough, hope the switch will last longer than other chinkshit flashlight I had before it.

The decent knife brands are Ganzo and Sanrenmu, right?
>>
>>71831714
God I had a wall of info and pressed ESC, I'll give you the quick rundown.

>Ganzo
>440C easy to sharp, decent edge retention
>New models: D2, harder to sharpen, prone to stain, no experience with them

>Sanrenmu
>Old models: 8Cr13MoV, shit tier edge retention, sharps easily. I would avoid them
>New models: 12c27, decent steel, no experience with these models, but used this steel on Victorinox/Opinel. Easy as fuck to sharpen, good retention

Ruike seems like a reputable brand as well, again, no experience.

Every time I have to recommend a knife to someone, depending on your taste/needs, any of this will do fine:

>Ganzo Firebird F759M
>Ganzo G729
>Opinel n9
>Victorinox Spartan/Tinker
>>
>>71821182
1. Buy a cheap hotswappable keyboard like the GK705 or GK715. Choose either white or red switches (not brown).

2. Get a proper keycap set for it (PBT + non-ugly font + fuck backlighting + preferably doubleshot). Example: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/33020136218.html
>>
>>71831714
>>71831845
I'm with anon here though I can't say much about edge retention as I just collect and don't really use my knives.
One thing to add though is that Ganzo's FH series (FH11, FH12, FH13, FH21, FH31, FH41, FH51, FH61) with the D2 blade all have ball bearings and are fun flippers.
Also the F759M is great, it's basically a spyderco byrd (made also by them) for no money.
>>
>>71830975
True. Just buy another pack of switches for like $10. Its hot swappable for a reason. Check out mkg for recommendations. The board is compatible with any two pin switch, so Cherry, Kailh, Zeal, Gateron etc will work.
>>
>>71829882

>>71832139
I already fell into the rabbit hole and bought a ton of chinese knives over the years.
For the price of one Spyderco Endura I bought like 10 chinese knives
Or the whole FH series with G10 scales (FH11/21/31/41/51/61)
>>
>>71832139
Believe me, get the G729, it has the best of both worlds, spyder hole (once you have to use a knife with gloves you'll fall in love) and axis lock (close and open one handed without putting your fingers between the blade and the handle).

Yeah it's a great knife, I got one myself too.
It might be that they don't make em anymore which sometimes happens with some models.

From some googling it also gets sold as: Ganzo G729 & Firebird F729 (aka G7291 and F7291)
With the later models having skeletonized liners to save weight.

Fasttech is also good for knives, especially on some holidays where they have a 10% or 15% off coupon on the whole site.
One thing to keep in mind is that it sometimes can take a bit before they ship em.
>>
>>71830588
Heres an idea: don't buy it

>>71832516
Bothers me that it looks like a knife which doesn't know if it wants to be a Spyderco or a Benchmade. Either way, it has me thinking knockoff. They should really try more original designs.

Yea I can see what you mean. They got tons of other designs though.
I'm not sure if the FH series is inspired by anything or not so you could have a look at one of those perhaps.
The only one missing in the pic here is the FH61.
Another one of the new ones is the FB7651 (440C + axis style lock) but I don't know if it has bearings or not.

These looks dope
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33042283102.html

Exactly what I'm waiting for.

> semi in-ear design (like Applel airpods)
> touch gestures including skipping track
> decent battery life
> bt 5.0 which should wipe of any auto delays when watching a video

The sound quality is a question. On the other hand I want them for sport so it it plays it plays.

btw... does anyone know some non-chink semi in-ear buds besides xiaomi aitdrops pro?

Also look at the HS610 it's cheaper but has the same hardware. However, drivers are currently fucky.

Wearing a paracard bracelet daily while living on the city is peak autism.
>>
>>71841583
Probably bait but this is what EDC fags actually believe and it's hilarious. At least you can hang yourself with your faggot bracelet.

If two men get locked in an empty room and only one of them has his EDC knife on him, guess which one of the two men will go to sleep with a fully belly that night.

Pure autism.

I like knives and I like playing with them, but you don't need to carry one in the city unless you are a delinquent.

Has any of you fellas bought those Wii U pro controllers from Ali yet?

Well, at least you'll be on the news after Tyrone is done with you with that back alley
>>
>>71842048
Let me get this straight.
No one that isn't an absolute retard is going to make clear that he has the intention to attack you.
So your friend Tyrone won't come wearing a reflective vest, knife in hand screaming.

If someone really wants to shank you, he will catch you off guard.
So common sense of not entering a back alley at night will keep you alive longer than a knife you won't have time to draw.
>>
>>71842044
There are some decent Chink brands for controllers but random brands and knock offs are always going to be trash to use. Get an 8Bitdo or just buy second hand.
>>
>>71839752
lol nice try retard that shit's just cnc machined and should cost at most $10 to manufacture, americans always jack up prices and convince idiots like you that the cost of simple fabrication is high
>>
>>71842044
its gamble, they always vary from terrible to usable
>>
>>71842199
what are you on about? you do realize the ones you buy from your local store come from the same factory as the ones you order from china?

Regularop, you should make a /csg/ template somewhere...
>>
>>71842209
Nope, those almost identical controllers but without logos or text are always terrible in quality, quality varies ton(if you are lucky then you might get one thats usable), they often dont have rumble/motion controls/NFC/etc, have batteries with capacity 1/3 of the original one to make then cheaper. If you are so confident about your claim then buy one, its your choice. Personally I have tired few of those fakes and they lasted maybe month before they broke.

Maybe but how hard is to copy/paste from another thread? The problem is lazy fagets making new threads before someone can write the news.

I'm not really into automatics so I never looked at or bought any but perhaps a clone of one of was it CRKT that had some models like this.
Though I have no idea about the quality if there are some of those.
On the other hand a good flipper knife (especially the ones with the ball bearings) or one with a thumbstud or hole in the blade is easy to open with one hand too.

That's not "cnc manufactured": The body is internals from a watch and the legs are ring terminals with threaded rods, nuts, and bolts. It's a neat piece of junk drawer art that would be extraordinarily unwieldy, inefficient, and more expensive to make on a cnc machine.

>>
i'm currently getting chinked by BANGGOOD.

Their dispute process is fucked. They sent me some solar charge controller worth $10 USD instead of the 48V power supply I needed, worth like $50 USD.

They offered my "800 banggood points" worth all of $8. I declined. Then offered my $10 CAD. I declined. It's been 10 emails and a week of this BS.

Never again banggood.

Takstar Pro 82 is great. Good sound for the price, comfy, and with a removable cable.
