>>69767977I kind of don't like dbus being mandatory. What if I don't want programs telling other programs running as other users to do things over dbus and circumventing my per-user security that way? I would like to be able to say: This user isn't allowed to do x and know that there's no way in hell an action by that user can result in x. DBUS seems to be: aw all that shit is annoying and gets in the way so let's have a free-for-all. There may be some merit to that in a gui, but what if I don't even have a gui running?
