buy a multi-pack of those cheap single-AA lights. I think /csg/ can tell you where to get em for like 3/$10. If its for emergencies stick those fancy lithium AAs in em, since those work even when below freezing and have a ten-year shelf life. If one flashlight doesn't last ten hours, turn on another one.
