I am not saying cheap shit or have a price ceiling. im saying i want reliable at the lowest price possible. if 5years+ requires $500 as minimum then that would qualify as inexpensive as possible.
>>
>>69314754
>akg k712
That's chinkshit level reliability with very little repairability in terms of parts available to buy and easily replace.
>>
>>69314813
hd650 then. i dont own k712 yet but you can get the genuine austrian ones for 200 bucks on amazon.de
>>
>>69312902
But why?
>>
>>69314835
1/You should keep every single cent for the sake of buying headphones that do not suck.
2/unless your computer is particularly garbage the chances of a dac/amp noticeably improving the sound is nil
3/investing any money into external audiophoolery when your main pair of headphones is a K7XX is really dumb
>>
>>69314826
>genuine austrian ones
They're still built in a way that leads to guaranteed failure (stress on soldered parts that will end up breaking down the line, because of the way the two cups are connected together for that single cable connection), lack a parts network (only really find earpad replacements and that's about it. Compared to how you can build a full headphone from the ground up with Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic)
https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/5fzdru/rantrage_thread_need_advice_please_akg_k712s/
This isn't a QC issue, like it may happen on some other headphones, where some will see a solder failure on a few models here and there. This is a design issue and every single K712 out there are guaranteed to break if you use them long enough.
>>
>>69314955

I recently bought a OnePus 6T, which comes with included wired versions of these. They are surprisingly good for a bundled IEM that only cost $20 retail. As someone who often has issues with IEMs, I also found them to not be too fiddly in sound signature / insertion (some IEMs require a really perfect fit to get bass to behave the way it's supposed to)

I still don't really use them much beside trying them out of curiosity but that's because I hate IEMs in general, over-ear headphones or GTFO for me.

>I wish they were 20$ lol, it's 85$ where I live.
$20 is the wired, not wireless, version. The wired bullets is noted to have the same sound as the wireless, so I gave you my opinion on the sound. I don't know about the battery life, build etc of wireless because I have the wired ones.
>Are they worth it in your opinion? Or should I go with something else.
>Have you tried any other wireless inears? If so, do you recommend any?
I haven't. I'm not into inears, I only tried them because they came bundled with my phone and I was curious. Sound wise I'd rank the bullets as above average compared to many closed headphones I've used. They're really great.
From purely a sound POV, if you like IEMs I'd consider them very much worth it. I don't know the specifics of the wireless version though, so they may or may not be good when it comes to things like maintaining a stable wireless connection, avoiding stutters, distance you can use them from the BT source etc.

I'm not going to overly develop on the gilet jaune topic on a /g/ general, so I'll say this and nothing else : the gilet jaune movement is a movement mostly led by butthurt. It's not really about the economy, or the new tax on gas. It's butthurt caused by people getting -real- angry over Macron's regular taunts about the lazy and uneducated. It's not a single particular law or economic event that created this ""crisis"" but his disdain for the people. A disdain I can only empathize with after seeing the results of 8 weeks of butthurt.
