I need advice with my KBD75v2 I received yesterday.

It's a nice keyboard, I quite like it. Looks and feels great.
But the problem is that I ordered a DIY kit, but received a fully assembled keyboard, despite willingly not paying for the assembly service and instead buying a soldering iron and lubes/greases for switches and stabs.

On one hand I saved myself a lot of work and got service I didn't pay for. On the other hand, it's literally not what I ordered and I feel like I could have done a better job with stabs. The space bar stab is quite noisy even though there's definitely some grease/lube on it, so there's clearly been some care put into assembly.

What do?
Should I complain?
>>
>>69301592
fucked up situation and desoldering them is a bit tedious and may damage some pads and leds have to be replaced, no idea, ask them why it arrived assembled.

Zilents, Aliaz switches, or BKE domes with silencing rings.

Personally, I don't like silent tactile switches, they feel like you're typing on rubber domes. Zilents are decently tactile though. All options are custom and expensive, I would personally recommend BKE domes but Topre boards and buying the domes themselves is going to cost over $300.

Two questions.
1. My PS/2 keyboard randomly disconnects for no apparent reason. The keyboard itself is in good condition, perhaps the port is faulty. Is it possible it's a software problem or something?
2. Recommend me a good new keyboard under $50. The additional numeral keys on the far right are not necessary. I just want a no-frills fully functional USB keyboard that feels good. Preferably standard black colours.

Chinkboards have brought down the minimum price for MX keyboards considerably in recent years. Just find one with PBT caps and you'd be set.
>>
If I have an assembled keyboard with a loud spacebar stabilizer that's located like in pic (but covered by the plate), is there any way to make it quieter without disassembling anything? Maybe a couple of squirts of Permatex Grease from a syringe?

The noise it makes is higher pitched than other stabs. Quite loud when bottoming out (almost as if the key cap is hitting the plate) and very loud when it hits the top, almost like it's reverberating when it returns at a specific velocity.

I need advice too. I'm currently building my white setup and i'm very certain on getting razer lancehead mercury mouse and inwin 101C midtower in white as well. Now the thing is i don't know what keyboard to get and am between three options: corsair k70 mk.2 se, razer blackwidow mercury and ducky one 2 white (once they come out with white RGB) . Pros and cons on everything:

i love the corsair volume scroll and wrist rest (i'm currently using corsair as well and i love it) but the wrist rest looks very ugly in grey and the keyboard only comes with cherry mx speed switches which i hate.

Razer looks the nicest out of three but has no volume scroll nor wrist rest and their quality is quite shite. It also comes only with razer green switches.

Ducky looks quite nice too and has the best quality but is very expensive and also doesnt have a volume scroll nor wrist rest.

I just can't choose between the three as aethetics are very important to me as well as how practical and comfortable something is.

Help please?

I wanted MX reds for gaming, typing on browns right now, yet i am looking at other cheaper switch options.

I wouldn't mind a click, however i would prefer a much quieter, deeper clack than a high pitched click that mx blues have that i just cannot enjoy.

clacks are a mith, its impossible to achieve it on something that small and light with those materials, it would have to be a wood contact or something much thicker rather that those thin and flimsy pieces of metal.

Switches and keycaps mostly. The really cheap Chinese stuff uses Outemu switches. They aren't all bad, but not that great.
>>
>>69317102
they make them out of acrylic, you could try it out with plastic from bottle caps, much softer and press it into the mold.
Chinese use a machine that cost 4k prints like 1 key per second. You wont even be able to compete with those small productions now imagine having to compete with keysets that go for 15$...
If you make a cool profile maybe you have a chance bro.

Get a Logitech G305 if you want a white mouse. Razer mice are trash with trash DRM that requires an account just to change the default dpi into something usable. If you don't care for wireless, then get the G203.

As for keyboards, I don't care for anything Cherry MX (which Razer's versions are just shitter Cherries) but out of your list I would get the Ducky since it comes with PBT caps. Your Aryan setup will look gross once the ABS caps start to yellow from oxidation and finger oils.

i had a solder station with a knob, fucker lasted nothing, knob was shit garbage, blinking led was retarded, temperature recovery was none existent, all proprietary garbage forcing you to buy their products, the replacement handles where about the same price as a ts100 so i just bought one.
The catch is that you also have to buy a power supply if you don't own the proper connector (its like USB connectors 10 plus types). Also you can break them by undervolting it, basically the mosfet will over heat and blow out but you will notice because the handle will get hot.

How realistic is it to expect to be able to build a straight desk if one has almost no DIY/woodworking experience? I feel like if I tried every plank would have 1-2mm of heigh difference making the entire thing completely garbage. The obvious solution being to sand/grind everything into oblivion but while I do have one of those handheld power sanders, smoothing and entire desk surface sounds like true suffering, plus all I'm gonna do is make it smooth (maybe, not even necessarily) but not straight.
