i get the same. i usually lift in the later afternoon to early evening after work but i had to do my leg session on a saturday so i did it in the morning. back squats as my main lift for that day. i was gonna meet up with some1 where i had to walk 20 min for like 2-3 hours after working out but my cns was so fried until i started eating a lot of food that i was barely able to function that day.
i guess its a volume and intensity thing

How to structure a workout program that enhances your energy instead of sapping it?

My guess is:
>A lot of cardio (once you adapt to this your overall work capacity goes way up)
>Lift 3 times a week, 3-4 exercises per session, 3 sets per exercise. Stay in the 8-10 rep range and don't go until failure on every set.
>Emphasize getting good sleep
>Don't eat like shit
>>
>>70325084
Lift during the evening, duh
