Smoking is good if it's just tobacco.
How much sun damages your skin depends on the type of fat you consume and those skin cells were produced by.
60% of nutrition pathways are turned off by being sad.
Being near water/trees/mountains prepares your digestion for certain foods and you can mess yourself up by giving your body mismatched nutrition.
Fasting and refeeding with large game mimickes killing a large animal after days of hunting, big test boosts.
Chewing is as important as sleep.
Certain numbers are evil and should never be stopped on when repping weights. 6 for example is extremely evil.
Journaling what improvements you will hit will make your body grow to accommodate the expectation.

You know how when you think about a muscle or part of your body and you can feel it? Do that before exercising to get the muscle in the right mindset then during the actual exercise switch and think about another muscle this will make the muscle you are training jealous and will try to take your attention back by pumping more blood to it.

Can I ice my nut sack and get the same benefits of cold showers? I tried cold showers for a while and they worked for me except I kept getting cold-like symptoms(sore throat, pericarditis, etc). I'd prefer to take room temp showers and ice my nut sack instead
>>
>>70324894
>I'd prefer to take room temp showers and ice my nut sack instead
this might work for testosterone, but the cold shower benefits of putting the brown fat to wok might not be activated
>>
>>70324894

This. I've never understood how routinely doing cold showers is good for you when you're pushing your body to max stress levels day after day. How does this not just age you and lower your overall health.
>>
>>70329644
Don't athletes just use that to forces stressed muscles to relax or something like football players?
>>
>>70329654
I can be corrected here but my understanding was that the primary reason is that your body is already stressed right after a workout, athletes are sore and possibly prone to injury, so an ice dip right after practice helps speed up muscle recovery and heal joints.

I think this is different than the average lifter putting themselves through a cortisol shower every morning. I think the 'clarity' and 'calm' everyone feels is just their body reverting back to the baseline they were at before they jumped in.

>Slapping your muscles before you use them and shouting at the same time makes you faster and more explosive
t. sprinter
>>
>>70329746
True
>>
>>70329394
It is esoteric for a reason
>>
It’s difficult to maintain good form for more than 10 reps per workout. Therefore, to build maximum strength, you should only do 10 reps per workout per exercise, with easy weight.

Example: 3x3 @ 80%.
>>
>>70322902
Grip neck and abs are 3 things you can train daily with no problems
>>
If you cut a resistance band in to two you can use it for occlusion training/blood-flow restriction training.
This i can personally vouch for
>>
>>70322902
organ meats are hyper esoteric and amazing for macros plus they are very cheap
>>
>>70322913
How to ice bath regularly without having to buy ice? I'm not buying bags of ice to sit in. I'm too poor
>>
>>70331280
Why not just buy a tourniquet? I thought the blood flow restriction stuff needed to be pretty specific to avoid injury or some shit
>>
>>70330690
False. I had issues when I trained grip daily. Giving yourself enough time to rest is still important, even with smaller muscle groups. Doing it 3 days a week works much better than every day.
>>
>>70331352
Make ice in the freezer every 12 hours, then put it in a bag. After a few days, you will have enough ice.
>>
>>70331396
were you just doing crushing? if you mix pinch and resisted opening as well you should have no problem
>>
>>70331360
1) a tourniquet is to tight and they are cheap
2) Just wrap at the top of a limb and dont go past 80% 1RM 20%-30% is were you should working
be smart and you wont have problems
>>
>>70329431
Yeah, if you're not on gear this will never get you to 30 ffmi.
>>
I never stretch, and barely warm up. I do plate jumps if I'm handling over 2 plates for a couple reps as warm up and it's only to get my 30 year old boomer joints ready. Never been injured by anything except failing a 4pl8 squat amrap with no safeties. I am not a smart man but I have balls I guess.
>>
>>70323492
>Fasting and refeeding with large game mimickes killing a large animal after days of hunting, big test boosts.
>Journaling what improvements you will hit will make your body grow to accommodate the expectation.
Those two make a lot of sense
>>
>>70322913
Dramatically increases cortisol which is horrid for you when it isn't necessary. It's literally the same thing as having a 130 heart rate while sitting still at your computer vs when working out, one is bad, one is not.

Also:

>Never take advice from someone on gear
>never take advice from someone who chews with their mouth open
>wear something silly to the gym and disregard social norms. act like a sperg
>>
>>70322902
Reps and sets should always be Fibonacci numbers.
>>
It's inconvenient, but the best way to grow muscle after your noob phase is doing like 1-2 sets per exercise but doing like 4 exercises per body part. Basically like a pro bodybuilder who throws the kitchen sink at a muscle group except that you're just doing one or maybe two sets per movement. Like doing hack squat, pendulum squat, leg extensions & belt squat for quads, 1-2 sets per exercise though
>>
>>70331433
Aight I have a pretty small freezer so it might take a few extra days lmfao but I'll give it a shot and just dump it in the tub
>>
>>70329431
so if you're not frauding should you do less or more
>>
>>70322902
Meditation or posture focused yoga can de-stress and make the muscles heal faster after exercise. Just focus on 3 postures a day and that's it.
>>
>>70331518
this, hand/wrist/finger EXTENSION is rarely trained compared to flexion, its basically free grip gains and helps keep carpal tunnel at bay

i use a bucket of sand or dry rice and open/ close my hand using the sand as resistance
>>
surprised no one menitioned deep core muscles like training the TVA with stomach vacuums, combined with kegels invigorates the abdominal viscera and massages the organs, leading to better digestion and overall health/blood flow of the organs

also lymph massage is unbelievably based for recovery but its hard to do on yourself properly, deep breathing, walking, and inversions (being upside down) also promote lymph drainage
>>
>>70323492
I unironically can see the sense in most of this and have just embraced the schitzodom
>>
>>70333555
nice trips and good contribution
>>
>>70333555
Oh yeah I forgot how crazy stomach vacuums benefits and kegels.
Training stomach vacuum can literally srink your wast and help show your abs
And if you train kegels you can cum twice without going soft
