You need to eat protein. I had myself measured at my dietician every three weeks.
1000 cal with 70g protein (my (((dietician's))) recommendation) led to me losing 6 lbs of which 1 lbs of muscle.

I think the muscle loss shit really is blown out of proportion by broscientists or perhaps is only really a thing when you're at really low bf%. Think about it. Why would your body burn valuable, useful muscle over the literal 10kg+ storage of fat that is designed to be used as energy stores for the body?

I need to drop weight for my first fight coming up, thinking about doing a PSMF for a couple of weeks then just maintaining for the remainder of time up until.

I did OMAD: ate the following per day

Also as a side-note, i found my energy levels after a few days were completely normal. I still boxed/sparred normally and didnt really feel like i was any more lethargic/slower. I did try and make sure i had eaten by the time i did my evening boxing sessions though. In the morning sessions i'd just have coffee and still feel fine.

ight niggas, here me out, first off, 225 from 475, I should weigh 175 at 12% and 195 at 18%

I got loose skin surgery soon, I can probably stand to lose 20 more.

I've been binging and purging lately, cause I've been trying to do PSMF and binging like a dumbass.

I can maintain, and get the surgery at ~25-50 pounds higher than my true goal weight

I can reschedule the surgery for next year, lose weight properly (aka not psmf binging and hating myself), and then be at like 10 pounds from my ultimate goal weight (like 195-205 with loose skin)

But here's the 2 caveats to NOT rescheduling: 1. I'm gonna be down anyways, losing most-all my mass, and therefor I'd be at oh 210 after, then when I go to cut, I'd be recomping and the cut would be easy as shit. (but what if I have more loose skin, etc.) 2. I get it done quicker, leaving all the dogshit to this summer, I have to get it during a summer month (college fag), and it'll just be easier to do it now.

But I also get to save more, not go into debt, and be at a lower setpoint. Also Also, I was 205 once, I felt like total compelte shit, so am I really that far off my goal weight anyways? probably only 20 pounds, so why not just, idk..... just thinking.

You could try eating at maintenance for two weeks, then restart the PSMF but if it just re-triggers binging and purging maybe very low calorie diets aren't for you.

I like those Outshine bars and Halo Top ice creams. Really hit the dopamine receptors while still being low enough in calories that I can stay in deficit. Quest protein chips are really good too if you're craving chips but don't want empty calories that are unfilling. But I try not to snack too much while cutting because it can be a slippery slope.

Good info anon. Only thing is I'd stay away from those packaged flavoured hummous tubs, easy enough to make your own with cans of chick peas, or buy tinned hummous (mostly just mashed chick pea), to which you add your own amounts of tahini, lime juice, garlic, etc.
Also for the dairy, fromage frais 0% fat is nice too but that might be the same thing as greek yoghurt.

I can personally attest that its portion size/control fucking with the brain. After years of eating way to big to the point that it was my normal, it took a year of OMAD and prolonged fasting periods to start to slowly clue my brain in that I can eat less and not be ravenous because I've still ate plenty of cal's. Those small refeeds after a 72 really got me used to not having to eat a pile to be feeling full enough.

Its so fucking easy to not even realize how fucked your portions are until you're looking back and wondering how the hell you ever packed any of it away.
