Three days isn't enough to start throwing in the towel. Weight can fluctuate through the course of a day or even a week. You need to look at week-to-week progress.

It's crazy, you spend all this time making fun of fat people, but you fell for the same trap. Week 1 is great, week 2 is no reward at all, week 3 and on are consistent but nothing will be like week 1 again.

Well, if your scale was going down 1.5-2 lbs a day, that would be, if all from fat, 5250-7000 calories of fat a day, which is unlikely.

Your BMR Is about 2000 calories a day, so says one calculator I found. Sedentary, about 2400 calories/day

1600 calories/day should give you a 800 * 7 = 5600 calorie/week deficit. which is about 1.5 lbs a week. If you added 200 calories/day of exercise, that would be about 1000/day, or 2 lbs/week.
