i do rice cakes, bit of margarine and honey - one teaspoon of honey is enough for 50-70 grams of ricekakes and it's all sweet and fat (ral sweet and real fat) and by the time i finish last one while drinking 30 grams of whey i'm full for next 5-6 hours

the differenciating factor is time - u need time to consume 7 slices of rice kakes, u need time for your body to recognize it's been fed, u need protein while u're at it, u need some fat

u could shove snickers bar down your throat and it would be same calories as whole plate of food, and u'd be more hungry than if u didn't

So it really depends on two things:
1 - The substance you're cutting
2 - The type of knife you're using.
In general, a sawing motion with a bit of downward pressure is going to give you the best results. Most people try and manhandle whatever they cut but you want to make sure that you're letting the knife do most of the work. Sawing back and forth with light pressure. Also, it's worth buying a knife sharpener. If you sharpen your knife maybe once a month, it'll make cutting things around the kitchen so much easier.

I felt like it was going to be a waste of money for basically caffeine pills. It has Yohimbe and green coffee extract in it too.
My maintenance calories was 3k prior, so I started the cut at 2700. It must have boosted my metabolism or something because I was losing weight too fast and had to go back up to 3k calories just to average out 1 lb a week.
The other thing that helped me is I just don’t buy much food. Restaurants no longer tempt me after I lived far away from them for a couple of years. If I don’t buy any food that doesn’t fit my plan, there’s no temptation though maybe I’m missing out on willpower gainz.

OP, ECA (ephedrine, caffeine, aspirin) is one of the few combinations that have very obvious scientific support. All studies have shown that 1) it accelerates calorie burning, 2) suprisingly you don't see the metabolism drop over time that you do when people cut for a long time. It's a non-controversial, no-bullshit regime that works.
It was "banned" because there was some concern over heart problems, but it was mostly political; I can't trace a single finding back to any real study or real deaths, and all safety studies show that long-term use does absolutely nothing bad to your health.
Often, the Aspirin is dropped because over-use of aspirin can lead to stomach ulcers/bleeding, so generally people do an EC stack.
-bronkaid in the US. controlled, have to awkwardly request it from the pharmacy and they log your ID/purchase because they don't want you buying a lot and making meth. There's a limit, I forget, but its easily more than you need. I've bought it for over a year straight and no problems.
-Take the bronkaid, drink a cup of coffee. Do it in the morning of course. You will get a crazy buzz, like over-caffeinated x5, but it's not a bad one, and is kinda nice. You also will have 0 hunger. Like none. So it works for appetite suppressant as well.
The studies generally did 3x a day EC stack, but I do 2x a day (morning and early afternoon) and it doesn't fuck with my sleep or anything.
My weight loss was way more consistent and constant on an EC stack, and when I took breaks (traveling, other random interruptions in life), my weight loss slowed.

Seeing this kind of high quality coomerbait gives me a deep down primal drive towards making it. It's not like I want to simp for it or anything, it's just inspiring on a visceral, testicular level. Number one thing I can do to succeed on a cut is to stay motivated, and constantly seeing 10/10 coomerbait is it for me.

As far as the actual process, last time what worked well for me was being super strict during the day, and then letting it go (within reason) at family dinner. Essentially the slim fast diet without the actual slim fast: string myself along with high protein low cal food during the day and then a hearty, healthy meal where I can fill the fuck up. I can avoid eating if I'm active during the day, but if I don't lardass out at the dinner table I'll be craving hard at bedtime, so this was ideal.

For me personally, I lost 25 lbs of fat in 6 months while maintaining all of my lifts (actually increased deadlift to 405 for 8) while doing IF and HIT. Not Mentzer HIT but like, less rest in between sets and shit like bench a set of 10 the 10 pullups or 10 decline situps. I was burning about 1000 calories in an hour and 10 mins on most days. That makes no sense biologically. If humans were to preserve their fat and burn muscle while fasting, how would they have the strength needed to hunt/collect the food they needed to survive and escape from predators in a nature state? They would get weaker and weaker by the day. Also, it makes no sense to think that a prehistorical human ate 3 times a day, or even once a day. That is not how animals in nature live.

It seems obvious to me that fat storages serve this exact purpose, and fasting would make you access this stored energy.

While cutting I eat a lot of eggs with hot sauce. My brain registers the hotness with the eggs which makes me feel more "full". When I absolutely can't bear it I will put the eggs on whole wheat bread/some sort of cracker.

Cut the carbs, up the sodium. You'd be surprised how little food you need to function when you maintain hydration and electrolyte balance. I get 5-6g of sodium on a cut, maintain my strength but not work capacity.

I also do my cuts hard and fast. 2-4 weeks at 1500 kcal, maybe a refeed at maintenance if I have an important social engagement; but the idea is to get it done and then get back to normal.

Also something that's tremendously helpful: nutrient density. Never eat chicken on a cut, the micronutrient profile is terrible, it's only slightly better than a protein powder. Stick to beef and pork; and include things like liver, mackerel, sardines, oysters, and eggs so you meet your micronutrient needs with a minimum of calories. I always cringe when people talk about how trash they feel on a cut, then learn that they're eating chicken, rice, and salads.

On that last point: if you find plain water is too boring for you, try carbonated water. I personally think the best way to attack it is to give up soda until you're tempted to relapse, then relapse with club soda. You'll find that the texture alone is satisfying. If you get bored with just carbonated water, add one lemon's juice to a glass of it. It's not sweet, but the tartness makes it interesting to drink, and it's extremely refreshing.

I hate to say this, but when I switched to ultra light-beer (ie, Michelob Ultra and the like) where each beer was only 100 cal, the weight just flew right off. I absolutely love Octoberfest beers and Holiday ales, so it hurts but I know it's the right choice.

Also, for my morning blended protein shake, I used to add a spoonful of peanut butter. I recently switched to almond butter and I think that's helped as well.
