Armed combat is surprising not about raw strength.

You can condition yourself by swinging heavy shit (sledgehammer, are, etc).
But ultimately you need to learn proper technique and form.

Footwork is also a MAJOR part.

Behind back tricep extension and shoulder mobility work is good.
You also need to work on forearm gain. Even "swinging" around a 5-10lb DB will give you substantial gainz if you use full ROM.

Finesse training. Just set up target to strike and/or poke. And repetitively trying to land the mark.

Practice with it every day or every other day.
The best way to get good at using a weapon...is to use it.
Having said that, please apply common sense. At least look up actual technical information on how to use a greatsword or a zweihander. Claymore manuscripts won't be as useful since what you have doesn't have a ring guard for gripping.
Talhoffer and Meier probbly have tracts on using two handed swords so check those out.
Learn at least the basic guards (high guard, middle guard, low guard/fool's guard, and maybe the back guard...i forget the term in English but it's waki no kamae in moonspeak) and practice moving between them.
When you're comfortable switching between guards then start practicing striking from each guard. Aim for sets of 10 strikes and consider the angle of your cut. Is it straight down the middle, or a diagonal cut from the top of the shoulder to the hip?
Anyway there's a lot more to swinging a sword and sword-like things. But that's a start.

It has more to do with what I can only call muscle dynamics or fluidity.
There's a "passoff" from muscle group to muscle group that occurs throughout swinging and wide movements. Heavier weight helps to pinpoint where deficiencies are and/or gives smoother transition.

I want to do this too, but I drive a fucking sedan so I can't really fit something this big in my car, and I'm too lazy to rig a heavy extendable metal pole. There are weighted foam poles at Walmart I've seen and they're about 7-15lbs and not too long.

The next issue is doing this shit in public, I live in Las Vegas so even the park and wooded areas are heavily forested also I have normies will fucking stare at me like I crazy.

Skallagrim on YouTube does reviews and he's pretty spot on (when he's not being a cringey faggot).
If you're starting out, a blunted sword might be a good investment or a federschwert for practice.
Cold Steel actually makes decent practice swords from what I understand, but they tend to be in the heavier side. They're supposed to be very durable though and well worth the cost.
