I eat 120g protein from protein shake in the morning, and usually a pound of ground beef and a sweet potato for dinner with minimal snacking in between. I hurt myself last week but I am rested and will resume tomorrow.

Lads just as an experiment I had a v*gan day yesterday. I wanted to test the memes. I had green curry mung beans over rice, a (soft) tofu/fruit shake, a big bowl of rice noodles, (firm) tofu, and more mung beans, like a quart of søymilk, juice.

But fucking hell the farts. I could laugh them off at first but it got really fucking irritating. If I weren't /foreveralone/ it would be even worse. You can't eat this much fiber, it's ridiculous. We clearly did not evolve for this.

If there's an environmental problem with eating meat, then, HELLO, produce less of it because you sterilized all the stupid people.

When I first discovered the gospel of Rippetoe, I had brutal milkfarts from the lactose fermenting in my colon. But being a White man, I soon went back to producing the necessary lactase. I can comfortably do GOMAD in my 30s. (And I would feel bad letting this adaptation go to waste.)

But I will NEVER digest fiber. Enzyme supps are the only way to eat all this fruit and beans without becoming a methane factory.

Come to think of it...tofu is low in fiber. White rice is as well. Potato minus skin should be good. Protein powder has none. Juices have little to none. It could still work.

But yeah the bananas, mangoes, and lentil diet is for the birds.

If I ever have to do an LP again, I would trade out Power Cleans for SDL @ 70% of upcoming Deadlift. Power cleans suck, they do basically nothing to build your deadlift. Fuck power cleans. I would also add in some rowing after every session after 1-2 months on SS. Maybe do a lighter row, like Seal Rows or Inverse Rows, after SDLs because those work your hams and upper back pretty hard.

Milk is about 3:2 carb:protein, I think a liter would have more like 50g lactose. GOMAD approaching 200. Still not enough and there's calcium excess. Pint of cottage cheese a day + QOMAD probably ideal on the dairy front.

I like to eat potato skins for the potassium and vitamin C. But if you toss the skins I think you get rid of all the fiber.

Take milk products or lactose, I've eaten them for years, same as eggs
But a while ago I started getting bad pains/diarrhea or only gas from them

All these are repeatable multiple times obviously and I don't eat too many foods to tell either

For pork/other mystery meats. Sausages and shit contains nitrates, known to trigger migraines and headache's, I get that too some times
And the digestion just doesn't feel good , plus they are sometimes mixed with onions and stuff (FODMAPs)

I mean I could go on and on, I might do a food allergy test but have been lazy to

My sibling also has an allergy, don't know what to, that can cause face/throat swelling to the point of needing adrenaline

But I moved and got hit with summer allergies insanely hard a few years ago, simultaneously I started getting intolerant to eggs at that same time. Coincidence? Idk if this is a thing, haven't researched it yet, but they both happend at around the same time

Aside from replacing with Cleans with SDLs and adding some rows late in the progression, i can't think of anything. The squat and bench tech he teaches is questionable, i would watch the vids in the OP and read some stuff from Louie and Tate. Just remember that cleans are only in that program because Rip originally marketed it to high school football coaches. They aren't helpful at all for progressing your deadlift, like Rip claims. SDLs will help your squat and deadlift and are also, imo, less fatiguing than power cleans.

can't say I've had that Ikea lookin tube stuff but I ate caviar on a plane once, was okay but not something that I'd pay $200 for at a restaurant. also at the bellagio buffet (RIP in pieces vegas buffets) once too but it was obviously shit quality at a buffet
