I do one set to failure, aiming for almost 20 reps with the plate selection, of situps with my hip flexors disengaged, probably once every two months or so just to make sure I still got it. You're gonna want to train them every couple days if they're just non existent or every week if they're weak. Otherwise heavy fuckin lifting will maintain them.The idea that they can be trained with more than 20 reps and on consecutive days is why yours suck.Posting a stale image to mog the naysayers with because I'm mid bulk right now.
