What do you think about beards like that of our boy Christian Bale? My cheeks are patchy but the rest of my beard is full. I was thinking of shaving my cheeks and leaving the rest, llike him in pic related.
I think I have a combination of 3b and 3c type hair that is coarse. It looks most similarly to the guitarist slash from guns and roses hair. I've been using this shampoo and conditioner maui for a while now but I wonder if there is a better regimen for me to try out or not. I don't use any leave in conditioners though and am wondering if I should start. I also don't blow dry my hair and mostly let it air dry which sometimes makes it look bad and I feel like I should look into getting a blow dryer or not. I also only wash my hair once a week and comb it in the shower. it's usually a gamble whether my hair wants to look nice and even with a good shape or not.
What kind of brush should I get for styling with blow dryer?

Does a beard need anything more than constant trimming and something like shampoo or conditioner once in a while? I keep seeing beard oil ads, but that just sounds gay/too narcissistic/waste of money.
>>17253240i know my hairline changed because i kept checking my hairline since 2014 because i had a season with a noticeable hairloss and thin hair (seems like my hair tends to falling off due the stress very easy)sadly i dont have any photo showing my hairline when i was younger >>17253267i know it sounds exaggerated but really scares me getting bald too early
>>17253281don't even shampoo or condition it. Just water. But yes trimming is required, but then again so does everything else.>I keep seeing beard oil ads, but that just sounds gay/too narcissistic/waste of money. My thoughts were exactly the same starting off. What I can tell you is that oils can be useful in making the beard more soft. That can help with itchiness in the first month or so.However, some people get skin flaking reactions to beard oils, so careful with that.Another thing is what kind of length, shape and hold you want to have.If it's a shorter beard you really don't need anything except water, trim and a brush.Longer ones might need something else.My suggestion is, if you don't have a problem, don't fix it.Once you have a problem, then think about what would be a adequate response. But yeah, I do suggest a brush if you plan to get anything beyond a stubble.>>17253314>i know it sounds exaggerated but really scares me getting bald too earlyyou just said stress and worry could be a cause, so being worried is counter productive

Brehs, is it possible that having long hair damages the base of your hair. not cutting it until jim morrison modeif you saw me in the L train no you didn't
I think i've made a mistakeFor a long time, i used a non-min spray which prevents hair folicles from falling out.about six weeks ago, i switched to minoxidil. But i didn't think about the fact that min makes folicles in the resting phase drop out, before they regrow.Does that mean the follicles that i had stopped from falling are now falling out, and i will lose a really large amount of hair, before it regrows?
>>17267659but i did anon!
>>17265090could you recommend another, different haircut?
>>17267555did you ask the derma why they deemed it inappropriate for you? are the side effects are something you medically can’t handle?

>>17267555your derm is a total autist, take finasteride at 0.25mg every other day and work your way up as you see fit, like then 0.25 daily, then 0.5 daily, and up to 1 mg daily or every other dayoral minoxidil is dangerous as shit, its not fda approved and its literally a failed heart medication, even at microdoses like the 2.5-5 mg range, you can still have moments where you feel a slight sting in your heart, try topical minoxidil 1-2x daily with tretinoin and microneedling once a weekgo on r/tressless and look up haircafe and moreplatesmoredates on youtube for more hair loss info gl bro
>>17268333How can you expect him to take fin without a fucking prescription
>>17268340tell the dermatologist that you looked up the side effects and risks and you want to take it anyways, keep insisting on getting a prescription, and if he doesnt agree, get a new dermatologistthis is what i tend to do with doctors if they refuse to be thorough with me, for example one time i had to get blood tests, and i wanted to the blood test panel to include a more accurate version of the blood test, but she said the inaccurate one was sufficient so i kept insisting on getting a script for the more accurate blood test and she caved in and said fine doctors are knowledgeable, but some are stubborn retards, any doctor that isnt willing to listen to you and be open to new ideas should kill themselves
>>17268333How do I get on fin without a prescription though. It took me a while to get a dermatologist and he was very adamant about not taking fin.
Should I get a fade or a taper?

I'm going to be starting a new job in a couple of weeks in a somewhat formal office setting. While not outright stated, they kind of implied that they want their employees to look sharp and groomed. I have hair that's basically the same texture as this, just not as long. I've tried just about as many products and techniques as I could to keep it controlled, like using a soft hair towel to dry, using anti-frizz serums, curling mousse and sea salt spray but the only thing that can reliably keep my hair from becoming an out of control jew fro is to blow dry it with high heat. Obviously I don't want to do that shit everyday but aside from that or just buzzing it close, I don't know what to do to keep it under control. Any suggestions?
>>17268349i already told you, just keep insisting on getting finasteride, say how its fda approved and his bias against it shouldnt prevent you from taking italso if he gives you shit about how fda approval doesnt mean its safe, ask him why hes administering oral minoxidil which is actually dangerous and not fda approvedyou could also try getting finasteride from hims or keeps or one of those online websites where they do a virtual consultation to give you a prescription
>>17268670idk prob laser it off, just use google bro
Can hair change texture as you age? Used to think I had fairly straight hair but now that I've grown it out a good bit, I'm realizing I have my sister's curly/wavy hair.
>>17268972It can, but it could also just be that your hair behaves different because the longer strand has a different weight to it. My sisters have wavy hair, that straightens a touch when it's longer because the weight holds it down and suppresses the wave slightly.
>>17267930facial hair makes you dude-like and the lipstick pushes you into tranny territory >>17268215>>17268219it’s just a slickback on a norwooding man with wavy hair use a matte clay and brush/run your fingers back through your hair
>>17268887it sounds like you’re “controlling” your hair making it straight. you’ll only damage it if you keep trying to change it so just get a close-cropped curly hairstyle and moisturize your hair with masks and conditioner to prevent frizz shorter hair looks less unruly
>>17269059are you suggesting i rock red lipstick with a 5 oclock shadow?

>>17269100I mean I was hoping there would be more I could do other than cropping it close. I'd prefer to maintain a more medium length hair style. Not really a fan of the zoomer broccoli cut.
What do? Growing from a buzz and looks like shit.
I think I can pull it off even though my jawline is like 2/3 of pic related

I my cheeks are patchy, but the rest of my beard coverage is good, should I clean shave or keep a stubble?
>>17259282>>17259357go see your dermatologist dude

>>17269461if you trim and shape it just right and use a beard pencil, you can make the patchiness work
>>17269523Won't you miss the messy twink hair?
>>17269530no, it feels like a nest on my head and i want to experience the cool october air fully.
How do you know when it’s time to accept the thinning hair and go full egghead mode? Mirror or selfies can turn out somewhat ok, but in photos others take I always am shocked at how much I look like a disheveled rooster
>>17269762what you really look like is the average of what you look like in the mirror and picturesit’s easy to look bad in photographs if you’re not snapping every second only to cherry-pick the best pics if you don’t have an undercut or fade and can see your scalp peeking through your hair in patches, it’s time to find other ways to look good
>>17250404>masculine bangswell i never..
bros where i can find images of different hair styles? i can't find any hair styles i like through searching
How do you trim stubble? What’s the proper “edge” on your neck?
How do i even try styling extremely thick, frizzy, wavy hair? If i let it go, it turns into a frizzy afro.
Sort of hair related. I have very faint, blonde eyebrows. I would like to dye them to darken them slightly in a natural way. Other than the paleness, I think they're fine. I've done it myself, but I want a better done result that last longer. Can I just walk into a salon and ask for an eyebrow tint? I hope it's that easy, thankspic related. My hair and facial hair is the same as this guy, but with even fainter eyebrows
>>17271235How about quit being insecure and dying your eyebrows?
>>17271240is anything you do to your hair out of insecurity? I objectively look better with them slightly darkened. It's not a big deal, I just wanted to know if going to a shop would be better.
is /tv/ lying to me or are moustaches cool now
>>17271259they are. Just as long as it's masculine and you have the face and jaw to back it up. Makes reddit beardsmen and boy faced /fa/ zoomers alike seethe
>>17264836uh, sure, how do you want me to show it to you, Just lift up my head and take a pic from the middle? or do you need either sides as well?>>17264858Why thank you, it's inspired by Nicholas II, though obviously I'v been adjusting it to my needs. >>17268022da! Horoshoo
my new haircut as I damaged my hair with bleach. Will keep it short till I cut all the damage away. Looks nice to me, love going to the salon and the flow it gives to me. Makes me look smarter and my teachers like it. If I was a man, I would def go for the buzzcut.
>>17264836here, I assume you were asking for this, tilted head back a lot and took some pics.
>>17265109you could always try an unapologetic horseshoe/monk mode haircut.
>>17269260I woudln't say it looks like shit. it looks average, nothing special in either direction.>>17269762that picture looks fiiine, the time to do something about it when you look like shit in the mirror, and photos, and people tell you.Nobody looks consistently good or bad through out the day so dont freak out if you see a shit photo of yourself, most people look like shit at a random snap of time.
>>17271235>>17271244>>17271240eh, depends, he should take an image and show is so we can more objectively say if dying it would be reasonable or just insecure.
>>17271259It depends on your face and demenor. The reality is if you can pull it off, it's cool.If you can't pull it off, then it's cringe.Notice how the mustache doesn't decide which outcome you get. It's everything else about you that does.
>>17271259if you have a gap in the middle or thin facial hair like this guy, then no, you will look like a nonce
>>17250415Both look gay but at least right looks manly.
>>17267988King Krule? I just looked it up, dudes voice sucks. I’m more into this: https://youtu.be/9346rQ1d8ik
>>17268584Lol I’ll have to check it out, seems like an interesting show
>>17269263Be careful anon, it's a risky cut. Chances are high it won't look as good as you imagine, especially if you're not a Asian with a 10/10 jaw. Pic related is me and I kinda regret it. I miss my longer hair desu :/
How do I look bros
>>17271739a little bit more hair and you can compose musical pieces
>>17268698Beard is more normie so better if you want to blend in. Depends on the mustache, but if it's very prominent you'll be "the guy with the mustache" and that's something you may not want.
>>17271100There are a ton of youtube vids on this, but basically imagine drawing a curve from your ear to ear and shave everything below it. A common mistake is to shave too high and your chin ends up looking weird.
I know absolutely nothing about fashion.I need a haircut, what should I get?
Since Jeffrey Dahmer is on the minds of women recently I'm going to serialkillermaxx by growing out my blonde mustache again.
>>17271872I mean, doesn't that depend on your needs and tastes?Somebody might suggest tastes, but nobody can tell you your needs.
why does everyone censor their faceno one gives a shit about you unless your famous
>>17271909>>17271911I'm an autist pseudo-neet that needs to go to a cousin's wedding. I need to get a haircut so I don't ruin whatever photos they happen to take.I do not know anything about fashion, or what would look good, which is why I'm here.I'm also not retarded enough to not practice basic privacy protection, unlike the vast majority of normalfags.
>>17271914>I'm an autist pseudo-neet that needs to go to a cousin's wedding. I need to get a haircut so I don't ruin whatever photos they happen to take.Oh, anything that makes you look "neat" "well kept" "intentional" will work.It can be any length really, but it has to look maintained and intentional. If you have a good barber, they can do that job, make it more neat and tidy by keep the over all style so to speak.>>17271911you grew up on facebook and think posting your face everywhere is normal.it's not. This is an anonymous image board as well, so posting unnecessary details is frowned upon.Or to put it in other words that you can understand. It's like wearing a clown costume to a funeral. You look like you have no idea where you are and are acting inappropriate.
>every barbershop near me are full of eastern euros who only know skin fade zoomer fringe cutswhat should I do? I want pic rel but I'm too scared to go anywhere in case they fuck it up
>>17271938>If you have a good barber, they can do that job, make it more neat and tidy by keep the over all style so to speak.I don't have a barber and I don't have any style, hence why I'm here asking the fashion autists what to get. I'd prefer to keep my hair about as long as it is now.
