Are glasses /fa/?

Post your glasses of any kind and rate others.

These are on the way. I don't understand how glasses aren't /fa/. Stupid question OP.
I don't spend the most on the latest and greatest glasses. So I just look at what looks cool on someone with similar features to me and just cop those on my two favorite optical outlet websites.
The tinted lenses are actually round as Zenni optical let's you pick the shape of the lense on any rimless glasses

I've always wanted to wear frames similar to pic related, the kind of aviator look. But I think my lenses would be too thick for them, and honestly whenever I've tried them on in a store they just look like shit on my phase. I think they just really highlight the bags under my eyes.
At the end of the day though, I've tried pretty much every other style of frame and ended up hating them. Coming to terms with the fact there's no style of glasses that won't look soi on me if I have a soi face to begin with.

I wear a golden Scotch&Soda and a dark silver C.Klein with blue filter and a Davidoff sunglasses with a polarizsing filter.
Can recommend the polarizing filter on sunglasses. You get away with something way less dark.
All models also are perscription glasses.

>Sunglasses, blue light glasses etc are fine though.
Sunglasses are fine. Blue light ist fine if you only wear them in front of your screen. If you wear blue light all day you're just as bad as someone with opticals.

Not a shitpost, I've been told I look like Putin by many different people (strong slav genes.) What glasses would be good for that face shape? I've mostly worn grey square-ish aviators for the last couple years, was thinking of trying something new, ideally from zenni with clip on sunglasses.

i'm convinced that rounder glasses will ALWAYS look better on anyone than rectangular ones.
Every fashion-sensible individual I see online or that i know personally always wears round frames. I firmly believe it is a matter of maturity that going from rectangular to round is the natural progression of a glasses-wearer's journey.

So I have like huge, very very big nose. Recently realized wearing my current angular glasses make it worse, I think. Any advice on this? After looking at online source, one place recommended round shapes to contrast with the big big nose, some in favor of angual, rectangular shapes to delineate the face and draw attention from the nose. The glasses draw attention to your uneven eyeline. Your right eye is higher than your left. It's most noticeable when looking at how much eyebrow emerges from the top of the glasses.

I wonder if a thinner frame would be better, considering you have thick eyebrows.

it's a samsung a50 with all the stock filters turned off, idk if it's a bad camera desu. I do sometimes use tret if I get sunburned badly, apply sunscreen every 4 hours, and drink nothing but water. I grow very little facial hair and never get any acne even though I epilate my facial hair so I guess it's genetics too? Also being skinny and avoiding junk/sugary food helps maybe

Look man, don't skimp out. It's your eyes, your fucking eyes. My uncle paid out the ass for good frames once 20 years ago and just has new lenses put in every few years. >My uncle paid out the ass for good frames once 20 years ago and just has new lenses put in every few years.

I've got an old pair of prescription glasses that I like but they've gotten scratched up/beat up over the years (they're now my work glasses) and when I asked the optometrist (10 years or so back?) about getting new lenses, they said the glasses were too old and they couldn't get new lenses made.

bros I'm getting some new glasses on monday what would suit me
I've had multible pairs of black/dark blue glasses before but I didnt like them much so I only wore em when I had to
I'm thinking about getting a pair that clashes less with my hair and eye color

Try something like this

You always can get reps and put your prescription lenses on it. Tom Ford glasses have nothing special desu, they're one of the easiest to be rep'd.

havent got mine yet but I hope I like em
>>
>>16966454
i have these and they're constantly slipping down my nose. hope you did a good job measuring your pupilary distance. i think i measured mine too wide. also they get hella smudgy but that might have to do with the type of lens coating you choose to pay for

>>17000832
don't do this >>17002231
do investigate ways to turn your nose the same color as the rest of you
>>
Best frames for thick ass lenses? I'm dysgenic af with 5.5 and 6.25 :(
>>
>>16988369
Not him, do round-ish but not totally round glasses like >>16982812 also work?
>>
>>17003927
I posted my shit earlier in the thread and I have a pretty big nose imo and they do pretty good to draw attention away from it
>>
>>16991510
it condenses down to some basic rules.
if you have a face as round as full moon don't get round glasses.

if you have a long as fuck face don't get wide and short glasses making your face look even longer.

I didn't have to wear glasses until a few months ago, probably cause I got lazy during covid.

I got this pair at Walmart cause they offered a cheap vision test and I was on obamacare.

I always thought Dr Greene's glasses from the early seasons of ER (before he went for rimless virgin glasses) were pretty great

I've been using pic related for many years now, any opinions? Also looking for suggestions for new glasses. My face is either oval or oblong and I got a tall forehead.

Does anyone know some cheap online store for optical eye glasses?

Don't do it, it's not worth it and there's no going back.
I got glasses when I was about 27, I developed astigmatism which I noticed through my IT job cause text on my screen had a ghosting effect. It sucks.
Please take good care of your eyes. Maybe wear tinted lenses and tell people you have sensitive eyes or something, at least you don't have to ruin them that way.
>>
what are some glasses that long good with a fringe (male)?
i feel like my current glasses look like too much is going on at the upper half of my head because of fringe + glasses.

>>
>>16990293
it's not really about shapes but about proportions, you'll have to try a lot of frames and take photos to get a good idea what you're looking for, a few mm can make a big difference
>>
convince me not to buy a pair of chink sunglasses for 20 dollars. They will just break within a year anyways and it's better than spending money on a name brand.
>>
>>16990187
If they can't make lenses they're lazy or bad at their job.
>>16990190
Around 3k. They're custom.
