The typical high fashion designers asks for bodies that are 6-6'2 and skinny so clothes are usually made for that body type in mind.

As someone who used to have this body type it's very hard to understand why some guys would want this. I'll tell you the reality of what it's like.
>Constantly bullied or disrespected
And no matter how hard i stood up for myself other guys just didnt care, they knew i didnt have the strength to fight
>EVERY girl will mention how skinny your are
It's not a compliment either, it took a while to learn this
>Unless you are dressed in actual designer you will just look like a junkie or incel
Expect to have junkies always try to talk to you since you look like you smoke a bit of meth. No seriously, when you are this skinny people assume drugs not modelling. Took me way to long to learn this hard lesson.

Bros please, if you are going for this body type please reconsider. It can take years to add muscle to these frames, Honestly being /fit/ and /fa/ should be the main goal.

You're not particularly chubby, you just don't have much muscular definition (or associated mass otherwise). So, it may appear as such to you. Light calisthenics would probably be fine to curb that up, if you're worried.

If you can't control your diet, what makes you think you can control smoking or anything else? Stop looking for crutches and embrace struggle. It gets easier when you go easy.

I haven't stuck to any real regimen or anything but I am doing 5 sets of 10 push ups a day (trying to as much as I can), recently decided to cut eating out out of my life, trying to stick to whole wheat turkey sandwiches and rice and chicken, cutting out soda....

>aesthetic you're going for
i just want to get back to being 165-170 and get rid of my face fat and my love handles. Those are the two worst parts. My arms and legs don't really retain fat it's my spare tire and the area under my chin and cheeks. Would like to be able to wear more techwear looks and properly tailored suits/menswear.

Hour 32 of my fast. I have never fasted this long before, I'm not sure when I will stop. I was hungry last night but it has subsided since, although I am beginning to feel a little dizzy, not sure if that's just the cigarettes' and coffee or what... I not gone to the gym and i'm just taking it easy at home.

Currently 13% body fat, trying to get to sub 10%.
>>
Just here for support/inspiration. Did this all before got to a look I liked.

Started drinking, would get sick all the time and was a lightweight frends say you need to eat before drinking. So basically I got stuck in the constant loop of eating so I wouldn't get sick before drinking. Then eating while drunk because I drank too much and didn't want to feel like shit. Then eating again in the morning because I felt like shit. I was doing this everyday too.

So yeah I am going to stop drinking entirely just empty calories anyway.

You're not fat. Just do some light exercise so you build a little definition and muscle mass. Too many people going for thinspo aesthetics think all you need is a caloric deficit, so that is all they pay attention to. No protein, not even light exercise. Then they ask why their forms aren't satisfactory despite dropping weight.

>>
>>16477627
Well you're in luck. Everyone stores fat differently however the face is usually one of the first areas where you lose fat when you cut down. The lower stomach is usually the last.
>>
>>16477635
Oh fuuuuuuuug. Alright. I really should stick around these threads more it is really inspirational. Currently changing diet right now and doing some light exercise. Do you recommend any sort of fasting as well or should I wait on that?
>>
>>16477638
I say go for it. Just by skipping breakfast alone and not eating for the first 6 hours of your day will give you good results. I find not eating easier then eating less personally. It makes your eating window smaller but that doesn't mean just stuff your face in the evening. Be somewhat conscious of calories still and try not go over 2000 cals by much and you should see results quick.
>>
>>16477627
There is no such thing as spot reduction outside of cosmetic surgery. You have to lose weight.
>>
>>16477675
I figured lose weight is really the only answer but I meant is there anything specifically that contributes to face fat. I have heard junk food and lack of water are culprits but that could be bullshit. I will just do a few months of dieting with some intermittent fasting and see how things go. I don't eat breakfast really anyway but I do end up stuffing my face at night. Hunger pangs are such a bitch, I need to fend them off though. I suppose drinking water and willpower is the only way to fight through that. Gonna shoot for 1400 calories a day. Thanks fellas. It's going to be hard but I really want to lose weight and feel better about myself. Balding really fucking sucks but being fat and balding is even worse.

Slow and steady is the way to go with dieting.

Dieting is incredibly stressful on the body. You will succeed if you do an easy 500 calorie deficit for multiple months. You will fail if you try to crash diet, which is what I'm assuming 1400 is for you.
>>
>>16477547

I was doing it probably about a year ago. Really isn't too bad, just have to drink water when I get hungry and refuse to snack. Really trying to stick to two meals a day in small portions. Just not sure how I should work in fasting. I know jumping into fasting or suddenly eating after fasting can really fuck you.up.if you.dont prep properly. Gotta do research.
>>
>>16477547
I feel this. Very similar reduction; little over 120kg down to about 64.5. No gyno, but loose skin is fucking me. It's not even severe loose skin, but the light kind that shows more when you sit, stretch down, and so on. It sucks being mostly presentable, but then that sort of thing walks in and absolutely ruins my physique. I think I'd be comfortable maintaining around 62kg, but the issue of that excess skin is a downer. I guess it's nice not having a huge pancake of skin like some people, but it feels like I'm in skin limbo sometimes. Makes me wonder how much some of this excess skin actually weighs. At least I'm not a fat fuck anymore, and you should revel in your not-a-fat-fuck status ass well.

No, I'm a 175cm/64-65kg male. I'm currently thinking about sitting at 62kg and then recomping a little, so not a big endeavor. I'm not highly active, so I don't require an abundance of carbohydrates, and thus, don't eat many. Sweets tend to turn my stomach when they have a lot of sugar, so I don't have them often either. My preferred diet is basically majority proteins and fermented foods for easy digestive support and nutrition. Ironically, I eat very flavorful foods all the time as a result; you just need to know good sources and cheap alternatives to otherwise garbage food, and life is smooth sailing.

First it was early AM cardio and a 1200 calorie diet. I did Intermittent Fasting by not eating after like 6pm and doing cardio at like 6:30 in the morning. Thats how I lost my first 105 pounds in only like 9 months ish. Lately i've been slow because of lack of time to exercise and being advised to eat minimum 1600 calories a day for other health reasons.

Dependent on too many factors for anyone here to accurately answer that for you. Just eat as you normally do and adjust over time to fit your fitness adjustments naturally. Don't use it as an excuse to eat more/reward yourself or whatever. The hormonal cushioning and not being fat are the rewards.

Coffee or tea (rinse teeth with water afterwards). Reduce general intake of carbohydrates if your activity level is typically low. Reduce eating window. Consume water responsibly. That's basically it.

If they eat 700 calories for 5 days, on the 6th day they can eat 11,000 calories while still maintaining overall calories. Which is a loooot of food. This is my theory at least. You can find a lot of filling food for just 700 calories so you're not totally miserable.

or they purge idk
>>
>>16478715

>>
>>16479804
>Yoghurt
>Chocolate
I eat yoghurt and cacao powder quite regularly, so I just wanted a nice warm meal for once instead. I ended up adding 70 extra cals to round up to 1,200, just by slightly increasing portions of some new sides I picked up recently, and having a 240ml serving of almond milk. Was a great change of pace. This is how 'variety' should be approached in one's diet.
>Dessert
I could have had more food (I usually eat around 1400 cals), but my protein bar already sated any potential desire for sweets. Was a think! brand "lemon delight" protein bar. Pleasant flavor overall (benefits from a touch of salt), but I think I prefer their peanut butter offerings. Either way, in the end, my point is simple: you can eat well if you know what foods to look for and portion for yourself appropriately.

Already have another 1,200 cals of food items arranged for tomorrow; I suspect I will perform similarly. I wouldn't care to go any lower on a regular basis, though. Might as well just fast all day at that point. You won't feel much of a need for 'deviancy' when you figure out the cheat code meal items to make everything both deviancy and healthy living. I never feel like I'm dieting because I'm not; I just eat this way all the time, and it rocks.

you can do it anon. i know it's hard but its worth it. one day at a time, and just keep this thought in your head "if i fail today, I will NEVER lose weight" because everyday matters.
>>
>>16479939
Do you feel unhappy with what you're eating? For me I alternate between days of eating trash food within calories, and nutrient packed foods within my calories. Makes restricting so much more bearable. On nutrient days I make sure to eat as much protein and fats and I can feel the difference. Keeps my body happy.

What is your diet like? A lot of people will make caloric restrictions while not eating foods that sufficiently support hormonal synthesis/maintenance, offer plentiful electrolytes, and so on. Big caloric deficits can be tough normally, and they have the potential to be more severe when your selections aren't great.

do ya'll have any recommendations for big ~900-1200 calorie meals? I usually just eat once a day. Been eating junk and feel malnourished.
>>
>>16481526
60 egg whites
>>
>>16481526
1 serving of Oatmeal (150)+ 2 servings of full fat greek yogurt (300)+ 2 tbsp of peanut butter (200) + 30 blueberries (30)+ 2 scoops of protein powder(150) + 1 serving of full fat milk(150) + a modest handful of almonds (150) + 1/2 banana(60)

Or

A massive veggie and chicken stir fry drenched in olive oil, topped with almonds
>>
>>16481526
4 eggs omelette with cheese served with a glass of milk and two pieces of toast with some toppings of your liking

Bowl of oatmeal (with milk ofc) with wallnuts and PB (you can add fruit ofc)

A chicken breast served with potatoes (be it deep fried filet and fries, doesnt matter, just has to be chicken and rice/potato)

These are what i can remember and can recommend, i have more fucked up shit i do like 18 eggs or 5 eggs and sardines with a glass of milk and cottage cheese but these 3 shoule suffice
Good luck

I tend to vary, sometimes I like to skip lunch so I can have a big dinner, sometimes I have small lunch bigger dinner, sometimes the other way around, been kind of slacking lately unfortunately. Thankfully I exercise everyday and also make sure to get 10k steps on top of that so I at least mitigate whatever damage I'm causing.

When you focus on protein values for low caloric intake, it gets easier. A staple for me is whole tubs of low or non-fat unflavored Greek yoghurt, which will be 450 or 500 cal depending on the brand. You can eat whatever sides/protein powders or a piece of fruit alongside it as a texture and flavor pairing. Protein bars help fill out cals too. Otherwise, eggs and most fish are excellent choices. Tuna and salmon are both easy to cook up quickly, though if time is lacking, canned/pouched tuna will suffice.

There are some pre-packaged meals you can purchase which can work as well, particularly if you're strapped for time. Trader Joe's has a shepherd's pie for only 340 cals total, and what I'm having today, stuffed peppers for 390 cals. Both benefit from some additional seasonings and sauces, but they're still filling and nutritious compared to a fair number of other options. I wouldn't only eat so little, but they simplify the whole process either way and enable me to more easily add foods to pair with (having sourdough and blue cheese, for example).

Your upper body looks like it could look good as fuck if you keep losing weight. Keep up the weight loss.

Unrelated to /thinspo/:
I don't wanna be mean, but I'm gonna speak freely.
Your lower legs look weird, like they're too skinny but not in a good way. Wear long pants or start exercising your calves.
Get new shoes, either something basic like vans or new balance, or nicer versions of the ones you have on there.
Switch graphic tees for just high quality regular t-shirts.
Cut your hair or start using conditioner. It looks pretty gross.

Try using Aphex Twin for inspo. Pic related

You're not doing anything wrong, that poster way overestimating how much the body in that pic weighs (assuming it's 6ft)

You're at a BMI of 20. That picture is BMI around 18.5, maybe lower. In other words, you'd probably start to look like that picture at 135lbs.

Keep in mind BMI isn't everything. Depending on your genetics and bone structure, you could look like that at 140lbs, or 130lbs, or not at any weight because your body might just be shaped differently.

need help pls

I've been on adderall since January 2021, I'm 5' 5" and starting weight was ~125lbs. Ultimate goal is 100lbs.
Started with 10mg per day, that was able to get me to ~110 lbs by early May but then I hit a plateau
I also noticed that 10mg was starting to do less for me mentally too, so I increased it to 20mg per day
Since May, I managed to dip to 101.7 lbs a few weeks ago, and then I had a weekend trip where I ate like a pig and gained 4 lbs. So I'm now around 105-106lbs and haven't been able to lose it again.

Why am I getting "resistance" to adderall so damn quickly? When I first started it or increased my dosage, it would make me not hungry for the entire day. But now I'm close to my original appetite and also finding it hard to resist cravings.

What the fuck do I do now, how can I manage my cravings better? I don't really want to increase my dosage more as I know the risks of long term high dosage use.

Also this info might be relevant, I have IBS-M and my water weight can fluctuate +-3 lbs per day. I'm also permanently constipated/bloated no matter what I fucking eat or drink or take.
>>
>>16490376

Stop taking drugs, idiot. A real diet will sort out your issues, and learn to have willpower rather than relying on drugs. Are you underage? You sound it.

Fair. I just still hear too many people who think fat in food magically turns to fat in the body. They will swap high fat foods for high sugar foods and then not understand why they are not losing weight, and sometimes, they gain weight. Fat is so vital, while sugar, and shitty carbs like that, not at all.

You should try lovage leaf for flavor, like celery, but stronger. Used by the Romans to flavor dishes.
>>
Just wondering, I used to be severely underweight but right now im getting to skinny fat territory again...
I used to have no problem fasting for like 2/3 days, but right now I struggle with 24 hours and since I feel bad I'll also down some fastfood/chocolate etc.
How do I get in to the mindset again of a good faster? Any tips are appreciated since I really wanna look good again.
>>
>>16490430
You're making a false duality, it's not about carbs vs fats. Complex carbohydrates, like in wheat bread and brown rice, are good for you. Unsaturated fats, like in fish, corn, and nuts, are also good for you. Sugar and Saturated fat are bad for you.

Also Cecil aren't you a fat fuck? Why are you even giving dietary advice? I can't remember how recently you posted a selfie so maybe you've lost weight

if you were to even reach any weight near that you would need to lose all of your muscle. this is not at all obtainable for you. im sorry to say bro but having reached 204 lb at any point in time automatically makes that goal and his bf % along with his "visible muscle" although hes not even defined youre going to look like a half empty sack of potatos once you reach that weight. if you dont die before you get there from lack of muscle.
you know those before and after photos of the guys that go from 300lb to 200lb and they just look stupid. what youve done is irreversable. just go to the gym and become muscular. youve missed the boat on that by like 50 lb

>>
>>16490736
It's not a meme. By varying the load, intensity, reps and temp you can select what you target. With light lifting you target mostly endurance. You can also target hypertrophy, strength and power. You "tone up" because you lose weight because of the exercise. Tone up is normie for "lose weight and/or gain mass".
>>
>>16491279
That looks pretty close but that's after a pump so it doesn't count. While workouts help to enlarge the abs so they look better you still can really only make abs in the kitchen. Count the calories and put on a 500kcal deficit and you should be there in a month or two.
>>
>>16491289
i eat ~1600kcal daily, sometimes less, but it's almost exclusively whole foods and naturally sourced stuff. hopefully that will be enough to shed weight.

>>
>>16492942
Nicotine suppresses appetite and it's effect can enhanced by caffeine but using it to lose weight is retarded. Just slowly go into medium caloric deficit.
>>
>>16492951
The point is obviously to use tobacco as a means of caloric deficit…

Only works if you smoke INSTEAD of snacking all the time.

Maintenance + 500. Don't pick random numbers cause if its too high above his maintenance then he will just gain fat + a bit of muscle instead of the opposite. Auschwitz is way better than skinny fat.

Junk food(lots of sodium and most people don't eat enough potassium) and lack of water doesn't contribute to face fat but water retention. You will just look bloated if you don't eat optimal levels of sodium/potassium and drink enough water but that's not fat. To lose fat you just lose fat overall but don't go above 500-1000kcal deficit. The bad news is that face fat is usually the last fat to go so it's gonna take a while.

Does it bother anyone else for strangers to constantly make unprompted comments about your body? For instance a while ago I got introduced to someone I've never met and the literal first thing they said was "wow, so skinny." I can't be the only one finds stuff like that rude, right? I'm not even skinny at 20.5 bmi, it's just everyone around me who's overweight. Am I supposed to start greeting people with "wow, you're fat" now?

Your bone structure isn't the problem. Rather, you don't seem to possess much muscular definition, so your legs (particularly your thighs) aren't exuding much detail or emphasis. It would do you well to start performing bodyweight squats and frog pumps for quad and glute gains. Similarly, you should perform stomach vacuums regularly, and increase your protein intake. Even on a very modest caloric deficit or at maintenance, you can recomp a bit of muscle to achieve a more defined appearance.
>Inb4 "I dOn'T wAnT 2 bEE t0 mUscuLaR!!"
You won't be, especially only with light bodyweight exercises alongside a modest caloric intake. You can maintain a thinner profile by recomping your body for greater muscle mass, eliminating the 'full' adipose fat and gaining relatively slimmer muscle fibers. As you presumably (hopefully still) have a penis and scrotum, a thigh gap may not be in your cards, but your form otherwise can be worked with.

Too many people who aspire for a thin appearance think caloric reduction is all they have to do. They ignore diet, and do not do even light muscular maintenance, so their composition turns out to be insufficient for their appearance goals despite shredding the weight. Consider my advice, and you may find an improvement in your form.

>I've never been able to do a pushup.
Inverse push-ups. You kneel down, prop your arms into the push-up stance, and slowly allow gravity to push you down while resisting with whatever muscle you have. Repeat as you wish (within capability and reason). Don't go floppy in and out, or it will do nothing. Once you find greater ease with it, attempt to transition to full push-ups. Then, try to do more at once.

As you work on this, increase protein intake within your diet, or muscle synthesis will be impaired. Additionally, I strongly recommend you look into performing basic bodyweight squats so you don't end up becoming some meat pigeon with fat, definitionless pecking legs and no glutes. The lower body is too often neglected, and even cardio bunnies will mess up and have terrible definition because of this. To be direct, as you are coming from an overweight position, you may likely already have some fair muscle mass (used to support your weight) that can be maintained and carved well if care is made.
>can't get access to a scale
Buy one. Hold yourself accountable, and weigh in regularly. If you frequently see numbers you don't like, adjust your caloric intake and/or increase your rate of exercise. It may be unpleasant, and sometimes misleading, but if you are true in your endeavors, you can maintain faith in the manifestation of your thinspo end goal.

Thank you for a helpful post! <3 I'm currently doing like 500-1000 kcal deficit a day, so do you think that's too much to get any benefits? Also I've been doing it like having a litre of bean milk and mixing a meal replacement sachet into it. That's some protein already! But anyhow, I'll follow your tips. Thanks and have a nice day!! <3

>500-1000 kcal deficit a day, so do you think that's too much to get any benefits?
To be direct, yes; it is going to be a severe detriment to fitness progress. That is, while you may be able to recomp ever so slightly, it is my opinion that your caloric deficit will lead to the following issues:
>Fatigue and cravings, impairing general mood.
>Insufficient protein intake impairing muscle synthesis.
>Low energy and motivation (from fatigue and nutritional deficits), impairing fitness performance.
To clarify, even if you have your litre of gay frog juice and onions daily, it's most likely not going to be enough protein for meaningful results. Rather, the exercise you do will probably act more like cardio, not 'toning' you much at all, but just increasing your already great deficit. I guess this is fine if you only want to lose weight, but like I said before, that doesn't mean you will actually look good at all. I haven't seen the most of your body with the shrouds cloaked over your waist, so I can't comment with full assertion on this matter, but based on the girth of your thighs, you're probably not so drastically overweight that you need to have such a huge caloric deficit.

I'd say 300 kcals deficit is okay, 500 max, with most of your calories being protein. I recommend consuming foods like Greek yoghurt and eggs. They are easy to consume, with good protein to calorie ratios. It's good you have some protein in your diet already, but you need more, and a smaller deficit for optimal results.
>>16495794
Nothing explicitly wrong with it, but I don't recommend it. The idea of 'needing' to get specific servings of fruits and vegetables is, frankly, asinine. You will probably end up feeling bloated and uncomfortable more often than you may be satiated, and with it being liquid, it will go through you much more quickly. Eat for your macros and caloric intake goals, not the dogma of ""food scientists"". Listen to your body and logic above all; even over my notes.
>>
>>16495794
As long as you're deriving actual nutrition from the soup, go crazy. Make sure to add protein and stay away from sugary ingredients

>>
>>16495847
Weight loss, to be frank. Fat reduction is a full-body endeavor; targeting is a misleading myth. That said, you may consider implementing stomach vacuums, as this will have an effect on your abdominal control and waistline over time. You will need to do it more or less every day for a fairly long time, but you'll start to see your waistline and abdominal 'pouch' slim inward slightly as you do. It's great for postural support anyway, so you might as well try it.

>Fatigue and cravings, impairing general mood.
My mood is superbad to begin with, so idk if that's gonna do much hehe...
>Insufficient protein intake impairing muscle synthesis.
Can't say anything to that.
>Low energy and motivation (from fatigue and nutritional deficits), impairing fitness performance.
Those I already have.
>but based on the girth of your thighs, you're probably not so drastically overweight that you need to have such a huge caloric deficit.
I'm not actually even officially overweight. My fat just gets stored around my thighs. My BMI is somewhere between 17.5 and 18.5, but I don't have a scale so can't measure it now.
>I'd say 300 kcals deficit is okay, 500 max, with most of your calories being protein. I recommend consuming foods like Greek yoghurt and eggs. Beans or chickpeas OK? I'm a bit on the lactose intolerant side. Just as long as it's not meat of fish.

>My mood is superbad to begin with, so idk if that's gonna do much hehe...
It will. Don't underestimate the effects instilled in you by nutritional influence. Your digestive system ends up being responsible for much of your hormonal balancing. Adding fermented foods to your diet (which you can buy or even better, make tons of for cheap at home) will help greatly.
>My fat just gets stored around my thighs.
Fat distribution is largely a genetic issue. You improve this not by "targeting fat" (which is a myth), but by performing exercises to emphasize your muscular/strength goals.
>My BMI is somewhere between 17.5 and 18.5, but I don't have a scale so can't measure it now.
BMI is meme metric by all practical accounts, just ignore it. Imagine it doesn't exist, because it might as well not. More important, get a scale and a tape measure so you can monitor your weight and waistline over time. Ignore huge deviations and don't worry about plateaus if you see and feel results.
>Beans or chickpeas OK?
Yeah, but try to aim for some that have decent protein values. Black beans are great in general. Chickpeas are fine too. Watch out for refried nonsense, or ones with sugar-blasted BBQ sauces and so on.
>Just as long as it's not meat of fish.
I take it you're vegan or similar. I won't support the diet, as I do not believe it to be nutritionally ideal or sufficient whatsoever. Bearing that in mind, if you do not have the moral/ethical constraints of those ideologies, I recommend adding some simple salmon, tilapia, or tuna to your diet. If that is an issue, you may need to look for more nutritional foods to include (perhaps something like nutritional yeast or miso paste).
>>
>>16496001
Frankly, understand this: regardless of your orientation, sex, identity, or whatever else, the process is 100% the same:
>get enough protein
>have a healthy digestive system
>don't have too severe of a caloric deficit (ideally at maintenance or under 300 cals deficit)
>Light exercise/calisthenics regularly.
Anyone saying otherwise is lying to you; it is the same for everyone. Yes, you may gain weight, as muscle weighs more than fat. However, it is also slimmer/smaller and tighter than fat, so your form will in fact improve...if you follow my notes properly. It's not difficult, just have faith in the process.

try fixing your posture. even your pelvic posture can be straightened.
to make this easy to explain. you know when an instagram model basically dislocates their hip trying to curve their back to make the appearance of a bigger ass.
try the exact opposite of that. it worked for me and its not really visible now.
