>Got meme'd into buying Dior Savageall the hype for this shower gel shit
i love my ysl l'homme, but it barely lasts more than 1-2 hours and the projection is very weak. what smells very similar but actually will last an entire day and you can smell it without basically giving me a hickey?
https://nakunahelsinki.com/https://www.alexandriauk.com/Did anyone try either of these two houses? Opinions?
>>16373914Kek, we got him boys.
>>16373978L'Homme Ultime duh.
Any recommendations on frags I should buy?
>>16373989Comme des Garcons Series 3: Kyoto or Monocle one: Hinoki
Dior Homme 2020 is really underrated. It's a nice woody versatile fragrance that fits any situation. It's kinda like TdH except it doesn't blast Old Man aura, it's more fresh.
>>16374002Would I like it if I thought DHI wasn’t that great?
Rate my girlfriends setup
>>16374006They don't really have anything in common at all. Dior messed up by making their names so similar.
>>16373914Your fault for blind buying
What's with all the agelets thinking vetiver is an old man smell? It's one of the most based notes in perfumery
I own Acqua di gio profondo and bleu de chanel edt. Any reccomendations on what to get next?
>>16373914still the most complimented grab and go fragrance with the best atomizer in the game, not much of a loss desu.
>>16373989no. plenty of recs on frags you should sell, though
>>16373914Are you fucking retarded?
Imaginary Authors Cape Heartache smells like haunted house fog juice in a good way.
>>16374014Samples of more expensive/niche stuff so you can branch out. I'd recommend trying Tom Ford, Creed, Zoologist, ect. samples that are well reviewed and have notes that interest you.
>>16373931That's not the regular OP
>>16373980alexandria are just clones, no idea about the other one
>>16374014Yeah, what >>16374048 is saying. Just go crazy with samples. Try everything out that seem interesting to you. You'll notice you dislike some notes or really prefer it. I've got 25 samples right now kek
>>16374024 Which ones do you think I should sell?
>>16373880>>16373913spent more time on this then i should have, use it as the next op picture or something
I've been trying out loads of edcs and splashes lately, because I just fucking love spritzing for refreshment and nice smells. Recent copped pic related, Florida water. Main notes I get are orange, cloves and a bit of cinnamon, which overall contributes to a kind of cola scent. It's pretty snice and actually decent quality - it's not gonna dethrone 4711 but it's a nice alternative.
>>16374113Easier to mention the ones you should keep. VPH and Dreamer are fine. Unironically sell the rest
Scent like this? Sailor on the stormy night. Or overall Obra Dinn vibe
>>16374044Its so weird, im not sure I like the strawberry, when to wear it?
>>16373914DOesn't matter what you think, women love it
Is the creed sample set worth it for £30?This is what you get• Aventus Sample, 1.7ml• Aventus Cologne Sample, 1.7ml• Silver Mountain Water Sample, 1.7ml• Viking Sample, 1.7ml• Green Irish Tweed Sample, 1.7ml
>>16374203Zoologist squid. More of a general "dark seas" vibe though.
>>16374203Cargo de Nuit was literally made to fit this aesthetic and it's pretty good
This makes me feel like alpha man giga chad. Really peppery and smoky opening to me, but it settles into what I perceive as tonka, brandy, cinnamon, and my raging erection.
>>16374301That depends on what you're buying it for. If you're buying it because you enjoy smelling sophisticated colognes, and maybe you'll wear it 2-3 times a year if you like it, then yes, this is worth it.If you're buying it to try and find the next frag you're gonna cop a bottle of, then no, not really worth it. I've tried most of their popular offerings and they're all pleasant and sophisticated, but none of them are going to be the kind of thing you'll wear enough for a bottle to be worth the price. They're unique and pleasant, but they all fall short in some aspect, and can be replaced by significantly cheaper alternatives.
>>16374013spoken like a true grandpa
>>16374142This shit gave me a rash I had to pour it all down the drain. It smelled good though
>>16374317Hasn't loreal already fucked Prada?
>>16374451Prada Olfactories = Maison Daniela Andrier. But it's not like her designer scents have changed either.
>>16374461Have they not? Loreal acquired Mugler around the same time and I heard they officially confirmed they reformulated everything.
>>16374432Yeah, it definitely has that aftershave sting to it. Must have more alcohol in it then most or something
>>16374009Cute/10How old is she?
>>16374339Yeah, I'll be honest. I'm seeing a girl that I haven't seen in a couple weeks. Might be the last time I see her for a while so want to be looking and smelling good to leave her with a good impression
is it a sound strategy to just buy a bunch of cheap 1ml samples online, then just buy bigger decants of the ones i like down the road?
>>16374580Once you learn all the notes you should be able to mentally smell any frag based on fragrantica notes so just blind buy
Personally I find 1ml samples almost useless unless it's something you just want to wear a couple of times and it's strong enough that you get a decent wear out of 1 or 2 sprays.
>>16374594I have a bag of like 100+ niche .5-1.5ml Dabbers do you think I could sell it as a pack on eBay?
wife got me this today, thought it was gonna be something nice and green, maybe herbal or even aquatic, judging by the box and the bottle. I smell like fucking cake. Like holy fuck it's nauseating how can she like this? she's been nibbling on my neck and ear every time she comes into the room.
>>16374667Forgot pic rel. how can she want me to wear this on the middle of the fucking summer.
>>16374120Thanks for your hard work
I was so excited for this untill....... Vanilla
>>16374580Yes it's a good idea to sample things before you buy, or buy decants of things that are more expensive that you're not sure about.
>>16374804You should always buy based entirely on the most artistic reviews you find on fragrantica and with no other information.
Ok, which one of you is this?
>>16374191Mont Blanc Individual is nice
>>16374667Yeah what a bitch

What is a elegant, sweet, summer nights fragrance to wear ? Armani Code Absolu, was recommended to me but I'd like to know your opinions too.

>>16374844>>16373880Does eros flame not come in an EDT?I bought the edp sample and loved it but I don't want to smell the same all day, I like the die off for everyday use and clubbing.>>163745941ml should be 5 sprays, do you buy glass samples or plastic?
Thoughts or should i go for another flanker? whats you guys opinion on the best in the line
>>16375290The og is very nice
>>16375297i agree. i prefer the og to the edp. cologne is also very nice for spring weather
I smell like a baby prostitute but it's so good.
SOTD: Guerlain Mitsouko EDT
Wafts talking shit about the new ALD releases. I love that these two lads are always objective and never give a fuck about sucking someone's dick just because he's a highly acclaimed among fragrance nerds.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9DWRqOZQYw
>>16375023La nuit de l’homme would fit that role.
>>16373989I see you trying to hide ck one shock
I'm at the end of my tether I feel, lads.Sorry for the blogpost but I'm just mentally exhausted with constant understaffing at work, needing to cover bar some nights (but they promise to even out my hours and shifts but still its a lot) and on top of that it feels like the girl in charge of my department is unexperienced and doesn't really do much work, a total brainlet airhead chav.Any frags to soothe my slowly breaking soul?
SOTD: Guerlain Mitsuoko EDT
>>16375510nice, my mitsouko and shalimar samples arrived today, some of the best stuff ive smelled so far
Anyone else constantly chasing a dragon that they never seem to find? I'm looking for an oceany, beachy frag that has good longevity and not too much bite as I get a sniffly nose from stuff that's too spicy. So far I've tried:>CK EternityUtter shit, smells cheap and synthetic>Acqua di GioNot quite sweet enough and dogshit longevity>Acqua di Gio ProfundoTerrific frag but not quite what I'm after. Needs more of that 'I just swam in the ocean' aesthetic>Bvlgari AqvaClose to what I want, but too fruity and spicy. A combo of this and AdG Profundo would be perfect
>>16375532Man wood neroli
>buy used fragrance from ebay>8 days later>still not here>hmm guess DHL is being slow again>check tracking>seller only send it TODAY, 8 days after being paidFuck this bitch I'm dropping a negative no matter what on her.
is the 2019 reformulation of kouros just a meme or is it true? everywhere I read I've seen that it lost that animalistic, urinal, gladiator jockstrap kind of smell. may I say, it got castrated. I just watched a review and the guy said he smelled the vintage version and the new version is not changed at all. but then I look at the date and is 2017. I would be so mad if the 2019 is the castrated version of the true kouros. those animalic and woody frags give me that kind of drive, that kind of punching machine, lifting machine, shagging machine, raging bull type of rush. so if those cucks in power shamed kouros, castrating it with the infamous 2019 reformulation, what frag should I get in the same vein as kouros, smell wise and price wise or even cheaper, anons?
>>16375532Oud Minerale is your friend
>>16375563Buy a bottle of The Man Silver by millton loyd.I thought it was good and according to a few posters it's very close to vintage kuros, won't really help you figure out if there was a 2019 reformulation, but you can compare your modern bottle to a pretty close approximation of what the pre 2000's versions smelled like.
Why finding a summer frag is so hard?I only have CK Eternity Aqua that I've got as a gift quite some time ago. Every frag I like is more of a winter one (Uomo Singature, Stronger With You Intensly, Snicebomb, Noir Extreme).Tested few "lighter fragrances": Montblanc Individuel, Explorer, Lalique White. Wanted to order Nikos Homme Sculpture, cuz cheapie summer frag, but one anon here said it's ultra gay. What do?
>>16375532get away from drug-store designer garbage and you should find a solid scent
>>16375591... you tested three fragrances? Weird choices at that. Just go into a store and try a few of the popular ones I don't see the problem. AdG Profumo, D&G Light Blue intense, AdP Colonia essenza, Allure Homme Sport etc.
>>16375615Obviously tested more, Neither Profumo nor AHS stood out to me, AdP is nowhere to be seen tho in stores here
>>16375623Then you should say what you don't like about them and what you're looking for. If you don't like the typical fresh scents you can try something woody or floral, like Terre D'Hermes or Pour Un Homme de Caron.
>>16375630As I said, I didn't have this "wow" factor when sniffing them, same for TDH. Maybe something more fruity? As I understand pineapple is the domain of Aventus and it's clones, which is shame. Raspberry or some other berries maybe? Will definitely go try some more at store, ones that you listed
>>16375591>finding a summer fragDG LB Sun can be caught for cheap. Smells like drydown of DG LB Intense without those pleb top notes.Sauvage EDT is also good for hot weather.
>>16375591>Tested few "lighter fragrances": Montblanc Individuel, ExplorerThey are absolutely not light. I use them in winter. If you want a summer Aventus clone go for AF Authentic Men instead of Explorer.
>>16375591Versace pour homme or Chanel allure homme sport.
Got Rochas Moustache on the way and am thinking of getting Snicebomb Extreme later this winter. What would you guys say am I missing and what do you recommend to round out my collection? I think that all these scents are pretty pronounced or sweet, so maybe I need some good versatile dumb reach? Something woody and not so sweet perhaps. I don't really want anything summer-y.
>>16375741TF Oud Wood
What cologne do I wear if I want to be my boss's boss
>>16375752idk, something by Hugo Boss maybe
>>16374599Put on Mercari I would buy it for real
>>16375741How's the club de nuit? I've seen a lot of hate for armaf in other frag forums. I have an armaf that my gf got me called Hunter and she loves it.
what would he wear?
>>16375785not OP, but i also have club de nuit. It is fine as a creed aventus clone, but there is a difference. especially the musk note is lacking. it still is a great fragrance, but its not as great as aventus.
>>16375785It's nice. I probably wouldn't rebuy it when I finish the bottle because it's just a mild like and not a love, the Aventus DNA is probably not for me. But there's nothing wrong with the fragrance, great performance and value, you should try it and form your own opinion. My mom absolutely loves it and a few other people have given me compliments on it as well.
>>16375785Not sure if I got a shitty batch of EDP, but mine smells great and does not fucking last. I am wondering if I should try the EDT and see if that somehow lasts longer. Also tried Explorer and it was terrible longevity.
>>16375798what would he wear, if he had lived today?
>>16374203Every Storm a Serenade by by Imaginary Authors
What brand has the most accusation of fatshaming in its adds by the American and anglo press? I need a fresh frag, question related.
>>16375869Back in the day the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch said he didn't want fat people buying his clothes. So A&F Fierce maybe?
>>16375883I’ve read they’re trying to change that nowadays, I’m thinking YSL
>>16373996while nice, hinoki wears off really quickly. at least for me it did
>>16375023Au Coeur du Desért.
I blind bought Azzaro Pour Homme a few days ago. I have a collection of about 25 fragrances, including Kouros, Antaeus, Drakkar Noir, Guerlain Heritage, Quorum, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, and Beau de Jour. To me, Azzaro is more masculine than any of those BY FAR and is maybe the most masculine fragrance I've ever encountered. Frags like Kouros and Antaeus are considered masculine powerhouses, but they almost play as caricatures of masculinity with their blends of amped-up animalic notes and gentler floral and herbal accords. Azzaro, on the other hand, is the real hard stuff and has none of that sweetness--mostly I get medicinal anise, soapy lavender, smoky leather. It's growing on me every day, and I'm especially looking forward to wearing it a lot in the fall and winter
>>16375924Based. That's how I feel about azzaro too. Only frag more macho that I can think of is aramis Havana. Both are snice but almost too masculine for me. Out of the frags you've tried do any capture the shaving cream like scent of azzaro but toned down a little? I've tried beau de jour and I really liked it but it is dear. Drakkar isnt my thing.
>>16375944Rive Gauche Pour Homme is exactly what you're looking for. Unfortunately it's discontinued and bottles are pretty expensive. I have about 7ml of the original tin can version decanted, but I'll probably shell out for a bottle when that runs out because it's that nice
>>16375924Have you tried Pour Homme Ginger? That one interests me more.
>>16375741Gucci Intense OudTF OL/Oud WoodI also copped a lot of same frags as you recently (DHI, Moustache, Bleu Electrique flanker, Snicebomb) I'd say make sure you like pepper b4 snicebomb, I fucking hate the first 30 minutes because of that
Whenever I smell old perfumes which were popular in their days I feel that they are extremely old, because their notes are associated with certain era and everyone recognises that era.I have got several old fragrances but they do not smell retro or dated at all, because they never were popular and did not follow the hype of their era.If I blind buy Antaeus or Kouros, what am I in for? Are their compositions recognisable and typical for their era?
>>16375977>I also copped a lot of same frags as you recently (DHI, Moustache, Bleu Electrique flanker, Snicebomb)That's really funny.>Gucci Intense Oud>TF OL/Oud WoodDo you own all of these? Which do you like the best? I hear the new batches of OW have weak longevity. The Gucci wasn't on my map yet I should get a sample of that it looks nice.
>>16375924Based azzaro chad
>>16375987Different anon here. GF gave me OW for my birthday. It is fantastic. Much more versatile than I expected and not harsh or very "oudy" at all. Because of that it doesnt have super performance but it is ok . Great for most occasions Fall through Spring.
>>16375982I don't think either of them smell particularly dated because they're so unique. Stuff like Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and Drakkar Noir smells dated to the 70s/80s, but Kouros and Antaeus smell timeless to me, or maybe "out of time."I think Antaeus is an absolutely safe blind buy. There's a bit of animalic castoreum at the top, but it dries down into the most luxurious rose/patchouli thing. Smells like a rock star with a private jet to me.Kouros is something you should sample first if possible. Also it was recently discontinued but bottles are still readily available and not that expensive, so you might just want to snatch up a bottle anyway. Even if you don't like it at first, it will probably grow on you
>>16375362Yeah they are one of the only guys in this scene that are predominantly honest, i mean it is really really profitable to be a shill in the fragrance community, but they say also critical thoughts (like MDCI Bleu Satin for example) what potential sponsors don’t like.I think they have a dishonesty problem with reviewing fragrances that are created by their friends like Prin Lomros and Sarah McCartney.
>>16375924>>16375944You both should try Etruscan Water. It's like a modernized version of APH. An absolutely HOOOHH-tier fragrance, too.
>>16376055Thanks for the tip, will check it out
>>16375969Nah, just the original so far
>>16376046>what potential sponsors don’t likeYup, I really loved how even Russian Adam showed up in the comments to do some damage control after this video. Funnily enough, he didn't address any questions asked by Jo & Dan and instead started talking his typical marketing bs about precious, vintage materials lol>I think they have a dishonesty problem with reviewing fragrances that are created by their friends like Prin Lomros and Sarah McCartney.I haven't noticed that really. I think in one of the latest videos about 6 or so new fragrances from one of Prin's lines they were predominantly critical about almost all of them. Even said that some should be rather sold at designer price tag as that's what they are.Sarah McCartney is an entirely different thing and I agree that they are a bit ass-licking in some of the long videos featuring her but to be fair she is x100 times more knowledgeable than these two so them being open minded about their opinions is a +1 in my book at the end of the day. They haven't really reviewed many 4160 Tuesdays have they? As far as I remember they just have a few favorites like Ealing Green that they mention now and then.I cringe a bit at some of their feminine quirks but to be fair they're still my favorite reviewers by far.
Just used some of a free sample I got of D&G light blue It smelled fine in the vial but awful on my skin, what happened
>>16376070The closest they got to reviewing her work was in a video in her studio where she introduced them to the two of them. I don’t have a problem with their videos with her because even if they are a little fawning, she helped them make a perfume, gives up her time and knowledge for them and is just generally very likeable. Much better than if they were trying to suck up to ATH and other charlatans. What feminine quirks are you referring to?
>>16375924Also learned that the original slogan for Azzaro was “Un parfum pour les hommes qui aiment les femmes qui aiment les hommes” ("A perfume for men who love women who love men"), which is unbelievably based
>>16376055Just looked it up and apparently it's similar to three of my favorite fragrances: Eau Sauvage, Antaeus and APH. Seems based af but how it can be? These three are all very different?
>>16374120the s looks weird, try to connect to the thing like the D is. Good job though
>>16375987>Do you own all of these?Currently only Oud Wood, I'm sampling OL and Gucci right now. I really enjoy OW, but indeed it's performance is lacking a bit -- only lasts a few hours. If you're looking for something to carry you throughout the day, maybe sample Intense Oud or some Montale frag. >Which do you like the best?I think right now it's Intense Oud; it's a big more versatile than my Black Afgano and the ambery base is something that I love. I think it's discontinued but some retailers should still have it.
>>16376092There are a lot of downvotes for all three, so people seem to disagree that they're alike.
>>16376103I think Jubilation XXV compares well with Oud Wood but others here have said I’m an idiot. But I don’t think I’m wrong. And Jubilation XXV is beast mode performance
>>16376113>I think Jubilation XXV compares well with Oud WoodMight be, I only sampled Interlude Man from Amouage so far. In what sense does it compare with Oud Wood? Jubilation XXV is certainly on my to-sample list, the notes seem very nice.
>>16376070The Prin Lomros part might be biased on my part, i bought like 12 samples because of TWFTL and all of them, mostly including praised fragrances of them, where all duds for me, while they all where realy pleasant i expected Tauer tier fragrances what i didn’t get and i am still kinda salty about that.I think Prin has the creative mind that could dish out 2-5 masterpieces in his lifetime, but he needs to stop releasing 5 fragrances a year and should focus on creating one really good fragrance (or even a masterpiece) a year, also he has to many fragrance houses on his name and he has social or communication issues seen in all of the interviews i have seen, in short he should try to imitate Liz Moores.Always when i heard them say 4160 Thuesday it was followed by positivity and i am somewhat suspicious that they feel indebted in her because she created a fragrance for them. The only real problems i have with them is subjective like there taste, i feel like they are way to deep into fragrances and adore thinks normal people would find weird, especially natural, indie, independent and artisan fragrances, but it is a good thing that they give them the spotlight they as small businesses so desperately need. They are the most honest reviewers and they can sometimes be really entertaining (see for example the Luxe Calme Volupte singing) what is sadly a dime in a dozen in this community.
>>16376157classic. one of my fav winter scents
Any rosy unisex/female summer recommendations? I use cdg avignon the rest of the year. I like tones that give off a bit of mystique.
Hello I want a blue fragI tried two, RL Deep Blue which I really liked and Versace Dylan Blue which I liked too but seemed generic, although my gf said it smells absolutely amazingWhich is better and more versatile?
>>16376167thanks!!! is this effeminate ?
>>16376070I didn‘t saw the Video and comment of ALD, because i don’t follow up with the limited time offer houses, but blaming the bad composition on a fragrance because it wasn‘t „ripe“ enough is kinda funny, the natural houses i know do quality control in every batch, so it will smell like intended when delivered to the costomer.
>>16376175Yes, it is kinda lipsticky abd some reviewers called this frag metrosexuell.
>>16376172Labo Rose 31
>>16376072For me light blue basically takes on a freakishly intense head note of straight up sweaty balls or something on the dry down but promptly mellows into the expected citrusy fresh notes of a "blue". It interacts with your skin in intriguing ways. Did it remain gross or transition into something pleasant?
Memoirs of a Tresspasser is dead on for the smell of an old distillery's barrel barn.Yesterday Haze is a beautiful figgy iris, and might be my favorite from IA. Every Storm a Serenade is very similar to an elevated Coach Blue, and is perhaps the one I would consider most daily wearable. Soft lawn just smells pleasantly green to me, I kinda get the tennis ball. It's may be slightly generic.I stand by Cape Heartache being fog machine juice but good.Still unsure about saint julep, it's somewhat sweeter than I had hoped for it to be.Didn't like wiff of waffle cone. Smells sickly sweet with touches of a waffle cone that was badly burned. Falling into the sea smells not too disimilar to any classic citrus edc with not much original going on.Overall I like several of the offerings better than expected.
>>16376092I don't see many similiarities between this and eau sauvage, but I guess that the oakmossy spicy drydown is similiar to Antaneus on some level
>>16376175why dont you grow a pair of balls first and wear what you like?
Honestly this is one of the highest quality generals left on this site. Keep it up lads.
>>16376251Also, I was trying to place Soft Lawn, and I realized the linden in it comes through similarly to zoologist beaver. Other not similar fragrances though.
>>16373914>was visiting Douglas with a female friend of mine who was looking for a male fragrance>"if you're going to blindbuy just get something like Sauvage">she smells it>"anon, this is the best scent I've ever smelt in my entire life">my retarded ass sniffing Dior Fahrenheit, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Extreme, Guerlain Mitsouko and Allure Homme Blanche thinking it is fantastic>atleast we agreed on Eros smelling absolutly terrible
>>16376199It's definitely more of a subtle grassy citrus or something now, but yeah it was making me sick for the first 20 min or so
Can someone recommend me an agreeable fragrance? Meaning I need something that is inoffensive but smells good. I don't care if it is basic.
Thoughts on Davidoff Cool Water? I just picked it up because cheap as fuck, but it smells synthetic to me.Also, does anyone know good obtainable Japanese houses?
>>16376423Dior Sauvage and Blue de Chanel. Look no further.
>>16373914Sauvage, Invictus, Fierce, Platinum Egoiste, Eros doesn't even smell like a shower gel, but like Axe deodorants.
Aventus is cool and shit, respect where respect belongs. But Black Afgano is my holy grail recently.
>>16376423Any blue fragrances desu. You should also look for Allure Homme Sport.>>16376432Does it actually smell like cannabis?
>>16376426Cool Water is a classic, it doesn’t smell bad you’re just used to smelling imitator compounds in aquatic-leaning products like soaps and deoderants. Just hope you didn’t spend too much on it, you can usually find it at Marshall’s or Burlington for cheap. As for Japanese houses, comme des garcons.
>>16376445It's very thick woody, imagine a caramel candy with woody notes and something grassy herbal on top, could be interpreted as cannabis. Longevity is enormous.
>>16376432It's nice, but not "black" at all as the name would indicate. Waiting for fall to wear it.
>>16376455dw I bought it in on sell. It's on sell right now at ICI Paris. 125ml for 25 euros.
>>16376465Agree, Interlude is definitely darker. Black Afgano is just resinous, caramel like sweet with herbal notes. But it's fantastic. I love my fruity Aventus, but i need something complex sometimes.
post your best frag
>>16376428Went for Blue de Chanel.
>>16376477>best fragrance>smells like Axe
>>16376482It does smell like Axe.For me it's Comme des Garcons Monocle One: Hinoki and Une Rose by Frederic Malle, because of youth sentimental.
>>16376485Great choices. For me it's Interlude.
>>16376423Versace pour homme is the king good but inoffensive frag. v2
Bros please please please can anyone give me some help on how to wear mont blanc explorer. I spray it 3 times total around my neck and literally nobody can smell it at all. I'm tempted to just douse myself in it by a shit ton
>>16376546You could do what Jeremy Fragrance does. Also spray once on each breast. Your clothing is better and holding the fragrance.
>>16376546Also make sure that you spray once on each side of your neck and the last one at the bottom of your hair in the back. Your hair also makes the fragrance last longer.
Does anyone has any experience with Dior Fahrenheit and women? Do they actually like it? It does smell like a gasstation, but when it dries down it has this sweet leathery/flower smell.
>>16376082>What feminine quirks are you referring to?The passive aggressiveness of this comment lolI like Wafts but they act very feminine. Not the guy you're replying to btw. Gushing over things is extremely feminine. HOOOOHHHH. I love perfume but what the fuck man
>>16375566>>16375729OMG it's exorbitantly overpriced AND discontinued???MUST HAVE MUST BUY MUST HAVE MUST HAVE
>>16376624There is a strong correlation between a perfume being discontinued and being good. I don't know why so don't ask. It's not just hype/FOMO.
>>16376477platinum is better
>>16376426Japan are pretty anti-fragrance in public so you will find their industry more centered around fabric and room sprays
>>16376028Wait... wtf? Kouros was discontinued?
>ExistsHow can Jeremy even?
Anyone else find gourmands cringe?
>>16376749>2292x4006how is the frag
>>16376755>>16376755Allure Homme Édition Blanche and Uomo Casual Life are pretty good though.
>>16376755no gourmands are amazing
>>16376546you are noseblind you idiot, dont be that guy that goes noseblind and puts on 5 sprays and chokes anyone near him, everyone will silenty hate you
>>16374842Thank goodness no I don’t want to get blacked
>>16376620I wasn’t being passive aggressive. And I don’t see why gushing over things is feminine. They’re just passionate.
I did it bros. I had the urge to blind buy a bunch of fragrances again, but I resisted and after a week or so the urge to buy is (mostly) gone. I can now focus again on enjoying the frags I already have.
>>16376172>rosy unisex/femaleMontale Oudmazing
>>16376546>3 timesThe performance is fucking shit.
>>16376546>explorerSpray on hair and clothes. Spraying on skin is a waste.I spray on hair: 5 in a vertical row on the left side behind the ear, same on the right side, same in the middle.5 times on each of my sleeves.I actually do it with anything except Montale Black aoud.
>>16376546>>16376760>noseblindNo. Modern Montblancs have almost zero sillage and projection.
Any suggestions for fruity male fragrances?
>>16377131>fruity maleExplorer Ultra Blue Montblanc
>>16377152I mean really juicy fruity, like strawberry or peach juice. Explorer is good, but i need more juice.
>>16376082>What feminine quirks are you referring to?On a second thought, I mainly meant Dan. Jo seems to be a top lad. These are all small things like the way he speaks, interacts with Jo etc that contribute to that. Nothing wrong with that though. >>16376163Fair. However, I personally love many of his frags (Ma Nishtana, Mriga, Haxan, Salted Mango etc)>>16376183Absolutely, in my eyes he's a charlatan on par with Ensar.
>>16376389Females are noselets
>>16377197>strawberryMukhallat Montale has that.
>>16377197>Explorer isExplorer Ultra Blue, not the OG
>>16377131>fruity maleWe know what you are, we still need some notes you prefere in a fragrance.Get Eau Sauvage it has clearly notable Citrus-fruits in there.
Bought molecule 01, smells like white spirits or similar chemical. >>16377131Cedrat boise
>>16373880any good smells for a militaristic/noir look/vibe? That is the closest to what i look like. Plus some sleaze aswell because im a poorfag.>picunrel
>>16377296Lalique Encre Noire
>>16377197Maybe some unisex scent? Most male frags tend to not be fruity.
>>16377296Narciso Rodriguez for HimAzzaro Onyx
>>16376757got the sampler pack when he launched for dirt cheap, but if I'm completely honest, I would never pay the price these are worth. At least not for the content. Shades of Seduction is imo his best one but even that one I wouldn't pay more than 100 for.
>>16377197i recommend trying Guerlain Mitsouko if you want a peach smell, its one of the most beautiful scents with peach in it
Is it just me or (perhaps my skin) does SMW just smell like an upmarket version of 212 Men?Might just cop a bottle of that on sale desu
>>16377383never tried 212 but love SMW, got 100ml of Aventus this year but SMW is even better to me, its in top 3 with Aventus and GIT for sure
>>16376624>>16376628Cringe.It isn't discontinued, it's been released into the cheaper "resorts" line. It smells and performs identically.Stick to your Dua.
>>16376624>Private Blend line>OverpricedGet a job you cunt
I would like to get into fragrances. The only one I have is club de nuit intense man that I blind bought 3 years ago and it smells terrible, pure chemicals like axe. Maybe I got a bad batch but it sucks.I went to Sephora and the lady tried to help me out since I said I'm a newbie. I liked Armani Stronger with You and Valentino Born in Roma, but my favorite by far was pic related. It smelled so good! And then I went home and did some research and apparently a ton of people wear it, especially Indians and Arabs. Is this true? Should I buy it anyway because I liked it? I don't want to smell like everyone else, nor do I want to smell like a brown teenager.
>>16377483You might like Spicebomb and Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. I suggest you smell more frags before deciding on what to buy.
Can someone breakdown the Spicebomb collection for me? The differences? Mainly between OG/Extreme/Infrared
>>16377483> apparently a ton of people wear it, especially Indians and Arabs.> I don't want to smell like everyone else, nor do I want to smell like a brown teenager.you know the answer
What would you recommend for a coniferous wood smell?
>>16377224I know what you mean about Dan. I guess because he’s a theatre type, front of stage, singing, he has certain affectations and mannerisms. Jo sits in the shadows and chills playing the piano. You really get a sense of that from their personalities.
>>16377483>my favoriteBuy what you like.>>16377483>did some researchSee, you do not smell anything anywhere. Because people do not smell anything than sweat. Thus you can buy any meme scent and smell perfect. Just do not wear 1 Mil to bars and clubs. I highly recommend 1 mil Parfum instead of the OG. It performs and smells better.
>>16377483You may also like Guerlain l'homme ideal EDT (almond) and EDP (cherry). They are sweet like 1 mil, but more sophisticated.EDP is overhyped though. I prefer EDT over EDP.
Can anybody recommend some good cheap fragrance for a teenager, talk a lot and I'm quite funny I need something to reflect that
>>16377595you need to be 18 to post here.
>>16377595Anything from the top herehttps://www.fragrantica.com/search/?godina=2015%3A&spol=male
>>16377580Hey, thanks for this. I read that this smells like Disaronno, which is my favorite drink! I'm going to go to the store to try it
>>16375962>>16376055Thx lads>>16376086Tres based indeed honhonhon
>>16377532That's the most complete guide I've seen (done by the guy from Pineward Perfumes)https://www.reddit.com/r/fragrance/comments/a8y7ty/a_guide_to_coniferous_fragrances_version_2/
are there any deodorants and fragrances without toxic chemicals?
>>16377595Go to YouTube and look for top 10 lists for teenagers. You zoomer cunts grew up with Internet and smartphones but can't do the simplest thing yourselves.
>>16377619That guide is actually shit.
I'm safely done with building my wardrobe, so now I can focus more on the frag and accesory side of things. Finally, I can smell expensive smelly water like the rest of you guys
>>16377620>Can I breathe in bbq smoke without damaging my lungsthe post
Need a good cheap frag for my gf, bday is coming soon and budget is around $50. I want something that smells strong and sweet but not in a repulsive way, maybe boozy? she's autistic and extremely fucking stupid but that's not relevant I'm just ranting. The stuff she wears is Eden, Arizona, Cloud and Obsidian.
>>16377652just get her a tester of Twilly or burberry her or mon guerlain or something
>>16377197Try Black Orchid by Tom Ford
>>16377652Comme des Garcons Series 2: Sequoia
Longevity on this is trash and there is no «Terre» whatsoever, and it’s not old at all (not a bad point for the last one), i don’t get it.
Everyone says this is a 8h+ fragrance yet my gf asked why i didnt spray anything today after 30min of 6spraysFuck my fucking skin
>>16377725Forgot pic because of fucking captcha
anyone tried this lil nigga? I really like it. My first day wearing I got two compliments from men and also fucked a girl but the girl didn’t say anything about my smell.
>>16377738man if u fucked a girl then this shit is cashu ever heard of "eros"? that shit will blow ur mind homie
Has anyone tried anything from Aesop?
Do cheaper fragrances get better rated on principle on parfumo and co? Like Mercedes Club Black is a 8.3 but Fahrenheit Parfum is only 7.8. I really liked the latter after testing it in a store but am surprised to see the (comparatively) low rating.
>>16377721It was reformulated. And it is shit. Forget it.
>>16377738It is 100% Invictus Legend clone. Compared them side by side on skin.
>>16377752>sweet, sandalwood with orange>And it is shitIndeed.
>>16377721Try Rasasi Fattan instead. It is a beast and smells like the OG TDH.
>>16377757The DNA is still shit, atleast for my taste. Sweet, creamy wood with orange, no thanks. Pic related is also the same like the original.
>>16377758>creamy wood with orangeFor me it vetiver + orange + iso-e super. I bought it when it came out. But now it is less vetiver and they made a disgusting vetiver flanker instead.
Went to a store and these ended up on my short list:- Prada Luna Rossa Black- Dior Fahrenheit Parfum- Chanel Egoiste- Tom Ford Oud WoodI was thinking they all have something in common and now that I'm home I can see it's probably the amber note? Amber is so fucking snice, it just makes everything better it seems. What do you guys think I should get? OW is the only one I can't smell on my skin anymore, funnily enough. So probably not that one.
>>16376113It only compares because of the oud smell.Other than that, they’re pretty different. Oud Wood is much more casual and less complicated. You can wear that stuff with a sweater and jeans. Jubi not so much. I have both.
>>16377763They’re wildly different. Completely. My choice would be OW
>>16377763>they all have something in commonYes, alcohol.
>>16377763>What do you guys think I should getPLRB It is nice for autumn and it is still modern.
>>16377771Nah they all have amber, you can look it up online. FH and Egoiste also overlap in terms of leather/vanilla notes, and also some sandal wood and rosewood between them.>>16377777Checked.Have you tried the others? I really like the PLRB and it has the best price value. But the Fahrenheit and Egoiste are also nice and have better performance, hard choice.
>>16376477Based Chanel anon
Anything that smell like Sandy tiki teakwood?
Thoughts on Carolina Herrera CH Men Prive?
>>16377752How old of a bottle do you need to find for it to not be shit?
>>16377802A nice boozy scent but I prefer Man In Black or Bentley Intense instead
Why don't they make this anymore? One of the all-time greats. Fuck off zoomers
What fragrance that smell like rum?
What would he wear?
Alright, I'm done with this. I've spent 30+ hours in the past week researching fragrances, now all I have is a giant list. Useless. All I care about is having women come up to me and smelling me, and hopefully pressing their ample bosoms into my me as they do so. Just tell me what to wear to make this happen. No bullshit. I just want sex. Tell me what will let me have sex.
>>16377826Go on fragnantica and type in rum in the search by note section
>>16377826John Varvatos Dark Rebel
>>16377826Idole Eau de Parfum from Lubin
>>16377790>Checked.>Have you tried the others?Yes, all of them. I hate them. Just old useless shit, except for TFOW. PLRB is ok. TFOW is also nice but does not deserve the price tag and it is becoming dated. Therefore I also hate it lol.
>>16377833Do you put your faith in meme magic or the wisdom of the crowd, young one?
>>16377854>oldThe only "old" one is Egoiste and that's still from the 90s. Did you see that it's Fahrenheit Parfum, not EDT? They smell wildly different.
>>16377763Just get the one you enjoy the most. My favourite on the list is Oud Wood. It’s great in the cooler months, maybe wearing it this time of year isn’t a good idea. Walking around the woods and the countryside smelling of Oud Wood is something I always look forward to.
Is Encre Noir Sport a good choice for summer? Also how is Fat Electrician?
>>16377826Straight To Heaven
>>16377880The better Terre d Hermes
>>1637783330+ hours and you couldn't figure this out? Just wear the one that gets most complimented. Your choice is probably Dior Sauvage, most complimented fragrance. Your question is kind of retarded though.
>>16377483>Is this true? Should I buy it anyway because I liked it? I don't want to smell like everyone else, nor do I want to smell like a brown teenager. Are you brown? If you are cool, you like it wear it. If you are white and like it then wear it.
>>16377880Both of those frags are more of a contemplative cool rainy dreary gray day, as opposed to a happy go lucky sunny summer day.
>>16377887After taking a look at note breakdown, still can't figure out whether you're comparing to ENS or FE
>>16377905Would Versace Pour Homme be a better summer frag then? Looking for a blind-buy, but will be able to return it if needed
kinda slaps not gonna liei was really put off by the intense citrus opening, it's almost sickening, but after about 5 mins it becomes incredibly pleasant and seems to get more masculine as the day goes on (albeit pretty weak after a couple hours)
>>16377911I hear Mercedes Benz cologne is a perfect clone. 40ml is only like 20 bucks.
>>16377880it's one of my personal favorites, doesn't last terribly long, though
>>16377909I love Versace pour homme. It smells like cool rose water. It doesn’t last very long though. I bet on a hot day it would burn right off. If you’re looking for just one frag I would get Luna rossa carbon or bulgari wood neroli. I have fat electrician, encre noire sport, and Versace pour homme. We might have similar interests, would you like to see my collection?
Is buying from the official site or a retailer like Sephora better if you don't want to wait for long shipping from something like fragrancenet?
>>16377912man, i heard mb intense is also similar to aqua fahrenheit. do they sell this stuff at dealerships or what? would i have to buy online?
>>16377927Just have to live in a first world country bro
Opinions on this little fella? Really cheap, smells kinda nice. Got as a gift some time ago
>>16377943Fuck forgot: Bruno Banani Man's Best
>>16377943Does it really smell good? my gf has like 3 Bruno Banani frags and they all smell cheap. Like, drugstore perfume kinda cheap. Synthetic. Just like her, she's a cheap woman, I wanted to take her to Buca di Bepo for our first anniversary and she chose to go to CiCi's (all you can eat pizza for $6.99...)
NEW THREAD NOW YOU FOOL GOOD FOR NOTHING
>>16377960Yea, kinda synthetic. Longevity is also hit or miss. But for the price it's okayish. Don't know why but sprayed it moments ago on my wrist to describe it better but barely feel it.
>>16377858>Did you see that it's Fahrenheit ParfumSure, 2014. It is still Fahrenheit. I smelled enough of that shit, when they were breaking the Berlin wall. It was the first perfume that I knew by the name. Every douche was wearing it.Do not want to go those times again.
