Recommended some good neroli frags, I'm pretty sure the neroli is half the reason i like aqva amara so muchBoth light and heavy dark suggestions welcome
>>16183116Ferrari Bright Neroli is surprisingly good. As said above, Neroli Portofino is great but too expensive for what it is.
>>16183116have heard good things about Bvlgari Wood Neroli. Haven’t sampler it, but if you already like the house, that’s an option. Colonia Essenza by Acqua di Parma. Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford.
>>16183142Agreed, but Bright Neroli is impossible to find now.
>>16183145I only sampled the top note of Wood Neroli once on a paper strip, it was like boat laquer.
>>16183150Has it been discontinued or something?
any recommendation for an easy to wear incense based fragrance? for reference i like the smell of amouage interlude men but i cant imagine myself wearing it in public
>>16183166Why not just wear it
>>16181364oh shit I wanted to try that one too. Was hoping for some funky, sweat like musk. What Else may go into the direction of body odor in a good way? My favs so far are Sohan and Eau D'Hermes (which is not TdH)
>>16183158There doesn’t seem to be any concrete evidence, but it’s disappeared from all the usual sites it was available on.
>>16183166Avignon by Comme Des Garçons. Or their incense line in general. I love Avignon. It’s very churchy, though. So a bit of a different vibe
>>16183216yeah, if you think Interlude is an Incense scent you are going in for a surprise. Also Avignion is not a public workhorse frag, it doesnt last.
>>16183166L'Eau Trois Diptyque. Myrrh-centered with olibanum incense and a pine forest accord.
Whelp ive finally been filtered, i tried on JD juste filthyIt smells like a barbershop in a retirement home, where you aren't sure if one of the patrons shit themselves or if it's just that general smell of decaying old person. My first ever wash off.
Got the new Viking Cologne today. Cant explain how unimpressed I am with it.
>>16183319The gf said it smells fine so i guess I'm going to give it a full days ware. No guts no glory
>>16183116Diptyque L'Eau de Néroli
>>16183324Second update, had to wash it offThat was bad, at best it smelled like unwashed man, i couldn't handle the fecal notesi think my gf liked it kekthanks for reading my blog
>>16183356You unintentionally found out your GF's kink.
I blind bought a bottle of Rive Gauche because I love the aesthetic of the bottle so much, plus if Luca Turin calls it the greatest floral aldehydic of all time it's gotta be worth a try. Should be coming on Monday. Is anyone familiar? I've got no problem wearing women's fragrances and the notes make it seem like something I could pull off
>>16183409why do women get all the good perfumes bros..its not fair
How does Individuel smell? Is it too mature? Could I pull it off as a younger guy?
>>16183321I had no idea this was even a thing. Why bother? It’s not like the original Viking was super heavy or anything. Can we just get some new scents, Creed? Fuck flankers.
>>16183321Not unsurprising given the bad reviews of Aventus Cologne. You should have known better really.
What is the ultimate "after the thunderstorm" smell?
I don't get how people tell projection/sillage for all these reviews I see? Do they go round and ask people if they can smell them? That sounds fucking weird.
>>16183437Yeah exactly, that’s my issue with it also. Viking already was too unoffending, nothing really made it stand out for me and the cologne is like a weaker, lighter version of that. Really I think Creed never had anything unique in the first place, they struck gold with Aventus but nothing else they do is unique or groundbreaking. >>16183441I don’t dislike Aventus cologne, this is way worse
>>16183501They just guess, and half they time they are completely wrong because they don't realize they have gone noseblind to the frag.
>>16183150They have a 100ml of it on Amazon for 90 dollarydoos.
>>16183572That’s a fucking ridiculous price. I paid £14 for 100ml.
>>16183577Yeah, I know what you mean. Guess I dragged my feet too long on it an Mugler Pure Havane, because they're both ridiculously overpriced now
I wear this around the office
>>16183590BassssedDylan Blue is fantastic fuck all the too cool for school frag hipsters that hate on dylan blue while drooling over creed meme frags
Should I buy it for summer?
Why is it so based?Smells great.Great longevity and projection.Any season, any occasion.Cheap compared to houses like Chanel or Dior.
>>16183501>>16183409This set on my mum's dresser for years, top tier aesthetic for a bottle imo
>>16183428I’d say it’s better on a younger guy, it’s fruity and soapy, smells kinda like dryer sheets to me
>>16183638It's kind of dry
Today’s Bianchi is The Black Knight. The whole leather genre is interesting to me. There’s no such thing as a leather absolute so the scent has to be recreated artificially. In the Lover’s Tale she does that with castoreum and smoke, but this one is more in line with the “cured leather” smell that you see from houses like MEMO Paris. I tend to dislike a lot of fragrances in that group, so I was put off at first sniff, but it quickly grew on me. The opening has much of the same green herbal vibes as Etruscan Water and it has the right level of richness and natural funk sitting underneath. This one is pretty snice.
>>16183428cheap and genericnoyeah
Why buy anything else?
>>16183840Is this suitable to wear while dancing with black guys in Ibiza?
>>16183216Would Avignon suit a leather jacket?
>>16183509It's not unique or groundbreaking but I'm still a big fan of Silver Mountain Water.
>>16183840Giorgio smells better
>>16183840Because Luna Rossa Carbon is a more interesting version of Sauvage

What would you say is a good signature fragrance for an attractive doomer, Ryan Gosling type aesthetic, girls wanna fuck you but also think you’re kinda weird.
>>16184323I wear toyboy but im kinda a sensitive doomer type
>>16184184Agreed those are just pure class
>>16184323gozzles wears eros (10 sprays)
>>16184323Dunno how true it is but looked it up and gosling seems to wear dior homme (think the older version from looking around but the main article shows the 2020 bottle which is probably wrong). Otherwise I kinda get cdg 2 vibes, bit dark but also light and slightly transparent, it has a green incense vibe imo, bit weird but also kinda cool.
>>16184538Something CDG was my instant thought. Would definitely for that vibe.
any fragrance that smells like "night"?hard to explain what it smells like, but i really like when i open up my window at night and take a big whiff
I have access to a perfumers collection of ingredients, what things should i make sure i smell?
>>16184538>>16184546> CdGAbsolutely no. The guy wears Red Wings which last, why would he wear weak perfume that doesn’t?
>>16183622Get Homme or L'Eau Boisee instead. Both of those smell better in the heat. >>16184565Fahrenheit and NR for Him are the first that come to mind.

SOTD is Le Jardin de Monsieur McGregorSimilar to Ealing Green, but more earthy and with ripe summer fruit. Really, really nice. Not as bright as Ealing Green, but in terms of capturing an image of a garden in a rural house in the North of England she’s done it brilliantly.

>>16185547If the world were more normal and he could go and do the thing he’s always done he’d be fine. I just wonder how long he can keep up that “party boy” image. He’s about my age, 32/33, and he can’t keep chatting up girls in their late teens and early twenties. His good looks are fading and he’ll eventually be seen as the creepy desperate guy. His life isn’t suited to a relationship, but it’s what he needs.
>>16185558>he can’t keep chatting up girls in their late teens and early twenties.Yeah he can. Women would rather be with a guy older than them then someone of the same age or younger.
>>16185547You should have done your homework. That's another city lost to the 3rd-world hordes
>>16185547Well, that picture is highly exploitable, isn't it?
>>16185560Yeah, but he doesn’t show any sign of slowing down. Nobody is impressed by the guy pushing forty desperate to reclaim his youth.
>>16185547Pretty sure he isn't moving back, just visiting and/or possibly has to do with whatever visa he has.>>16185560That seems to often be the case. I have been chatting with an 18 year old girl for close to half a year (I'm 24) and she seems really into me and wants to meet (she lives like 5 hours away) but idk. I've only ever dated girls my age and can't help but feel a little weird about it. Anyone have any thoughts?
>>16185574It really depends on where she is at in life. 18 can be indeed quite young if you are looking for something LTR-ish, especially if she still has that whole uni experience ahead of her. Smashing only, sure. That 5 hour away thing is what would make me lose interest though lol
>>16185574The difference in emotional maturity will always be the biggest difference there. The gap between you and her is far bigger than the gap between you and a thirty year old.

>>16185807Nah it's fine, just a bit cloying like most of their stuff. People give PdM stick because they're basically just niched up designer frags with a few extra notes, I like Herod but even I recognise its pretty much just an improved 1 million.
I'm considering to buy pic related for the summer. How is it's longevity?
>>16185901Why is it so damn hard for him to review the latest fragrances? Is it because he doesn't get it for free he wont review it?

>>16185901I'm confused, makes video to talk about gay past. Then stops himself won't talk about it. Starts talking about rape case. Says he made up lies about her, and was going to use it in court but didn't end up having to.So wait, he did actually rape someone and was going to lie about it in court to try to get away with it but ended up not needing to say it? Because that's what that sounded like to me. I'm going to hope that's his randomly broken english. Still don't support him for making those fake videos in the past though.
>mentally ill>ends up being gayknew it, every single time.
>>16185981If he didn't rape her, why did he make stuff up.If he did raper her, why the fuck is he admitting to making shit up about the case lmaoHe also said the accusation was so absurd. He's so transparent but so insane at the same time
>>16186030It's strange, because ive made videos saying when he originally got hate that I didnt think he was such a bad guy. You could always see in the insecurity in him. And even him talking about POWDER, and jacking off etc, looking like a idiot. Its kinda funny to me and shows the insecurities. But still the fake videos he use to do, saying he sold all his fragrances, he had to sell all his clothes. That shit really bothers me, and then now again maybe its randomly broken english, but the way he worded that makes it sound like he really has raped people before. He should clarify that for sure

Can you autists help me find an S-tier summer fragrance? I live in a country with extremely high heat and humidity, so far my favorites frags have been Allure Homme Edition Blanche and Silver Mountain Water but something keeps them from being s-tier for me, any recommendation including aquatics will be appreciated.
>>16186130bvlgari aqva amaraIts my favorite aquatic period, awesome citrus floral that has good staying power for a freshie.
>>16186130Tons of sprays of Guerlain imperial (30$ for 100ml) or cdg anbar (100$ for 500ml)

thoughts on A men?
Lads I finally stopped being a neet and bought some meme piss frags.>Chanel No. 5 EDTI thought it smelled super pissy when I first sprayed it but it got nice and airy outside. I actually really dig it but I can't hope to either think I'd smell like a big black woman who took her welfare check to Chanel to buy one of the cheapest frags, or Eugene. Shit longevity.>KourosBought it because of the discontinued meme. It really does smell like my old college's library bathroom on the 1st floor but that's not stopping me from liking it. Very smokey, leathery, and complex. If Antaeus is the gay guy in the club in the 80s catching aids in the corner, Kouros is the straight guy with a hairy chest having heterosexual sex with a cigar in his mouth in the VIP section. Antaeus is more wearable though, I don't think I have the confidence to wear Kouros even to the pharmacy.
Why, yes I only wear Guerlain fragrances. How could you tell?
>>16186455It’s great, opening is a little challenging
>>16186328I really liked it and especially the "lipstick" note that people say it doesnt have like in the original (I never smelled the proginal)
>>16186190>Dior Eau Sauvage>Dior Fahrenheit Cologne >MDCI Invasion Barbare>Tom Ford Gray VetiverThose are all office save fragrances for summer with a little more edge then the usual Sauvage, Acqua de Gio or Aventus that will make you stand out a little. Also those fragrances should‘nt be too difficult to pull of at your age.
>>16186328can i wear this in the summer?
>>16186587Cooler summer nights is good, and maybe if you spray it more discreetly, like under your shirt, it could work during the day.
>>16185901Is he following Milo’s career and he wants to join the ex-gay bandwagon??? Based if true??
Today’s Bianchi is Lost in Heaven. Ooh boy I wasn’t expecting to like this one. Cumin usually doesn’t work for me, and I especially hated it in the new version of Zoologist Dodo. But here it actually works well. The overall vibe is somewhere between a yellow-floral chypre (think Zoologist Civet) and an opulent floral musk (like Salome), so the cumin just blends into that musk and doesn’t distract from it. It’s has less of a coca-cola vibe than Civet, and is substantially less stanky than Salome. There’s also some sweet fruityness coming from the orange and beeswax. Don’t know if this one edges out Etruscan Water for me, but it’s very nice.
He’s gona fucking hang himself, isn’t he bros?
>>16186716why, what makes you think that?
>>16186716Only if they repo his Ferrari
>>16184777Gosling wears dior homme but the aesthetic in general which the guy is talking about gives cdg vibes imo (the weird but attractive thing). Weird, not overly loud but present and dark, mixing that sorta attractive vibe with the weird vibe. Otherwise the other stronger suggestions like ombre leather sorta fit but feel too powerful and energetic for a lowkey doomer. It fits gosling but not what the guy is describing imo.
>>16184122Fahrenheit or Antaeus
>>16186743>cdg vibes imo (the weird but attractive thing)any of them good for summer?
>>16186817Amazingreen, hinoki, anbar I think will be the main ones you hear, moderate projection and longevity like most of their lineup. They have some stand outs in performance (black, cdg cdg, some others probably) though those are darker. Imo since they arent clawing and overpowering cdg 2, avigon etc. can be pulled off in warmer weather but they're not "refreshing" in the same typical way. Try out a sample of something that interests you from their lineup, whether their more cold or warm weather oriented frags and see how it holds up in the heat, you might even like something like avigon in the heat since it isn't such a powerhouse that it'll gas you out in the heat.
>>16186698I’d be very surprised at this point if anything surpasses Etruscan Water. Which ones do you have left, I’ve forgotten?
>>16186908Tyger Tyger is tomorrow and that’s it
>>16187075I’m jealous. I so desperately want to try that but it’s unavailable in the U.K., it would be unjustifiably expensive to buy it from her, and I can’t exactly justify buying a bottle to get a free sample either.
Current Spring/Summer 2021 rotation>le prosecutor TdH>L'HOMME INFINIMENT>Davidoff Cool Water>YSL Rive Gauche>AdG Profondo>Roma Uomo Cedro>Prada Amber pH>Neroli WoodsGotta get a full bottle of TdH eventually
>>16187186moderately based but also a lot of dry frags overall.I strongly recommended you add yatagan to your lineup for BAP situations
>>16187194I've got Yatagan, it's a winter/fall frag for me though.
>>16187195>I've got YataganIs it pissy/musky at all? Or is it more of a bitter green scent?
>>16187225It's very musky but not pissy, definitely a vegetal green scent with a lot of evergreens and resins. To be honest I prefer Pino Silvestre over Yatagan although they are quite different.
>>16183622wearing that in high heat would literally make me vomit
>>16184323wanted by night, ombre leather
>>16187225I thinks it's very woody, sauna associations. I get neither Musk nor civet, it's manly in a clean way, but not soapy.
>>16187244>>16187263Thanks, i can't trust any online reviewers
>>16185756Have it, love it. But iris is not what I was after, I want a full field of flowers. >>16185760Already watched the thing twice, but all their suggestions are damn pricey. I don't like sampling stuff like prin or bortnikoff when there are so many reasonably priced classics out there I haven't tried yet
Reposting from yesterdayI met a perfumer the other day that works mostly with naturals and he was letting me sniff his ingredient collection. Anything that ai should try and smell, any notes that I should seek out a sniff of.

>>16187563The other day I tried Explorer on one hand and Brut on the other and Brut mogged the fuck out of Explorer.
Well I've tried all 50 of these samples (around 80 total). I'm not sure what the takeaway was. All too often I'm annoyed by dabbing a bunch of a sample, sitting down for the next few hours expecting to judge it, but then not being able to smell it at all. Others are perfectly potent under far less application. I don't know if it's anosmia or if I literally have to use half the vial for those. What probably surprised me the most is how similar I found Sauvage and Aventus, each sharing the same mustiness, that while not offensive, is not enjoyable in any way despite the hype. Others I discovered I liked far more or less than expected, Muscs Koublai Khan and French Lover, respectively. There are a few I will consider a bottle of like Eau Sauvage EDT, which despite its shorter performance was easily detected and enjoyed for the duration, but most of them I need to revisit again either because they were not remarkable or I couldn't judge based on the lack of performance. More so I'm now just addicted and wanting to order yet more samples. I've yet to touch houses like Guerlain.

>>16188011>>16188268It was just very uninspired, stupid stuff. Somebody would comment smth like "Hey Jeremy, how do I apply fragrance again, I forgot" and he would start going off: Fuck you stupid haters, you will never get anywhere in live, this is only jealousy, and so on...Really overreacting, losing his cool and showing his insecurity
>>16188453Dude has some serious mental issues.
Well, my bottle of Green Irish Tweed is going to be here today. Feels good, man.

I recently started working at an Amazon air hub. There are quite a few female co-workers, so I thought it might come in handy to smell different than the average wagie. Are there any appropriate fragrances for such an environment, sports fragrances maybe?
>>16188510>imagine paying over 100 bucks for fragrances
>>16188608>smell different than the average wagie. This will do it.
>>16188613Imagine being poor
>>16188620I get his point. Most high-end fragrances do have a sub-$100 comparison out there somewhere, and most $100+ fragrances are not unique and special enough to warrant the price. It really is rare to find one that's truely unique and spectacular enough to justify it. I just blind-bought a bottle of Roja Oligarch over the net, and the fucking cedar and jasmine in it are so heavy that instead of making you smell rich it makes you smell like a fucking lumber yard full of fresh-cut cedar with a trace amount of jasmine in it. My only guess is reviewers in places like Fragrantica have not smelled a lot of cedar and jasmine with the bullshit reviews they posted.
>>16188615Thanks, just ordered five bottles of each one
I sniffed Boss Bottled yesterday and I liked it very much.Which versions should I consider? OG? 2020 EdP? Intense? Other?
>>16188673Personally the only one I like (and own) is Bottled Night.
>>161856828 SPRAYS CMONGOTTA SPRAY BIG TO SMELL BIG
I love Tom Ford Beau de Jour, thinking about ordering samples of Fougere D'Argent and Fougere Platine to check out his other takes on aromatic fougere. What to expect?
>>16188615>becomes a skinscent very fast>probably smells like another Aventus or Sauvage>or even worse boring designer - like>while i got my bottle of smoky, herbal Roger & Gallet Open for 10 bucks>4 digits pricesCan we safely say that fragrance snobs are faggots?
>>16186538>Invasion Barbare for the officeOnly if you’re an office chad, it’s very very strong.
>>16183622It's fall here down under and I fall back in love with this every year around this time. At least to me, it really just does not work in the summer. So no, don't buy it for summer. Buy it for the rest of the year.
>>16188778ugliest mofo i have ever seen so what's the criminal history on this one?
Hot take: the only two scent profiles you really need is a fresh and clean or a sweet and loud.
>>16188871And something to wear when you want to be a freak. For me, it’s Leather
>>16188033It’s just rebottled aqua man cool water
Every now and then I get this olfactory hallucination, like a clean sweet soapy smell, with a touch of ozone quality.Closest thing I thought of at first was something like Bright Neroli or a sweeter, honeyed version of Prada L'homme. But now I'm wondering if its closer to 1 Million Lucky with the slight nuances I'm getting. (haven't smelled the 1 Million in a couple years, was a test spray and forgot about it, might have to revisit it)Does anyone else experience this?
>>16183622Could I wear this as an all season/occasion signature scent?I'm 31 years old and live in moderate climate.
>>16189076>clean sweet soapy smell, with a touch of ozone quality>1 Million Lucky>l'HommeDef not. To me they're both very sweet.
>>16188871>t. bought a fragrance from a top10 list because it could get him laid
Just blind bought Encre Noire, it’s so cheap that it was nothing. Winter here in my country is coming, what am in for lads?
>>16189168I avery nice scent that smells good
Is it gay to use pic related. I didn't know it was unisex when buying. I like it desu
>>16189180Buy Oud For Greatness
>>16189180Are you fucking serious? Wear it.
>>1618568240 sprays, don’t be a sissy sprayer.
>>16188758Try Davidoffs Zino
>>16189180Yes, very. To be safe only use frags with the word male in them, or even better ultramale. Everything else is for faggots
>>16188510My bottle took a year to macerate. Only today I finally realized why there is the tweed in the name. Green was obvious from the start. Irish? Whatever. And finally my nose picked up the texture of the tweed. Bourdon is the genius. >>16187966I can’t smell perfume that way. Always have to repack.
>>16189238I was actually considering buying a bottle of vintage Zino on ebay, so I'll probably pull the trigger on that
>>16183409Blind-bought Rive Gauche update: bottle is out for delivery. I hope it turns out to be wearable. If not, at least I'll have the awesome bottle to display
>>16189385If you're into the smell of classic Gilette shaving creme, Drakkar Noir, Azzaro Pour Homme this will be your kind of fragrance. It's a perfect match for me.
>>16189388Not that anon but I've tried Drakkar, Eternity, Platinum Egoiste etc but none have been the ideal "post shave" frag for me.Should I try out Azzaro, or give Margiela's barber frag a try first?
>>16188758TF FdA is quite close to Rive Gauche PH. I don’t like Fougere Platine since it smells like a plate of cold borscht to my nose.
>>16189397Do you even wet shave? Barbershop fogeres are about Barbasol’s product smell, not your woke gilette canned foam.
I wear "summer" frags in the winter and vice versa because I want to be reminded of the opposite season when sniffed. Nothing like a whiff of fresh summer ocean breeze when suffering in the freezing cold snow, or a minty dry sniff in the humid sweltering heat. Is this autistic?
>>16189397>>16189427Wouldn't go with overpriced barbershop fragrances, especially Bour de jour or tom ford fougere d'argent. Try pic related. But of course you could sample the expensive one too, the Tom Ford ones where let downs for, either too sweet or too modern, minty spicy. It ruins the classic shaving cream vibe.
>>16189397Try Paco Rabanne PH
>>16189388>>16189427To be clear, I'm talking about the original Rive Gauche for women. I do have a sample of Rive Gauche Pour Homme on the way too though
Finally gave Dior Homme Parfum a spin today. The thickness, together with the suede accord and the broad stage in general gives me strong TRex feels (minus the whole burnt / metallic smell, of course). On my skin, it oscillates between something sweet - Berry like, with the occasional animalic touch pushing through strongly, really catching you off guard. The iris makes me reminiscent of the the thing that made me fall in love with pre-2012 Homme initially.Surprisingly not unisex imo, feels very decadent and flamboyant. Nights-out only, could probably also work during those coldish, central European summer nights. Perfect match for any leather jacket, srs.Very impressive stuff. Definitely give this a try if you have enjoyed the Homme line in the past or usually reach for stuff like Tuscan Leather.
Whats the fragrance you fell in love on the first smell? mine is MI, gonna buy a 100ml bottle soon idc about performance, love smelling this
What would Hunter S Thompson wear?
>>16189616I had no idea this was back, I thought it was gone for good. It’s going to infuriate me that it’s in a different bottle to the rest I have from the line.
>>16189684Iron Duke and Kouros
>>16189687I thinking you can still order it online from Dior directly, the changed to bottlesize from 75ml to 100ml though.
>>16189741Yeah, but there was a time when even that wasn’t possible. I hope I can get a sample somewhere.
>>16188673The original is a based annick menardo frag, smells like apple pie and vanilla ice cream. A little bit late 90s but very comfy
>>16188954I'm wearing this pretty often at the moment, new car smell plus citrus and cigarettes
>>16189397Yeah for me aph is THE aromatic fougere
>>16189441The notes on this are wild lol. Must try
>>16189441I know what it is on your picture, and I already went “with overpriced barbershop fragrances,” both BdJ and FdA. I also have bottles or decants of RGPH, Azzaro PH, Sartorial, Bracken, you name it. TF is reviving this stale genre and I really appreciate it. Even though apart from those two, almost all his another perfumes are shite.
>>16189684Chevas Regal mixed with cocaine
speaking of barbershop fragrences my Rogue Perfumer order cam with a sample of Bon Monsieur, which i guess is a work in progress because he isnt selling it on his website. Pure classic barbershop, strait out of a bygone era.worth looking out for whenever he decides to release it
>>1618895410/10, savoury umami leather
>>16185453you mean chad choices
i like to smell whisky and cigar. Any recommendations?
>>16189104You could, but on the really hot days you won't want to.
Has anyone tried Light Blue Forever pour Homme yet?
>>16189438I wouldn't consider it autistic but you if wear a strong, cloying winter frag in the summer heat and you'll soon regret it. I wore Encre Noir in June once and I still regret it
i have a sample coming, what to expect?
>>16189921Yeah, I agree. I posted about this a long time ago but when I was new to fragrances I didn’t know about how heat increased projection so I will never get over the embarrassment of six sprays of Tuscan Leather to a BBQ in July.
>>16189868Roja Enigma. Cognac rather than whisky but still top notch.
>>16189922Just sprayed my sample to remind me.It’s a basic as fuck blue shower gel fragrance. Very, very similar to Dylan Blue. A bit nicer and deeper if you smell it up close. For that money I’d rather get a 50 mil of Aventus for a basic summer scent. Or Dylan Blue.
>>16189930Yeah, mine was six sprays of Encre Noir at a BBQ in June. That morning it was unusually cool for a summer day and my dumb ass didn't bother to check the weather forecast for the day. Then my brother dragged me out to help grill on his patio where there was no shade. One of the worst headaches I've ever had for a good twelve hours. Never again.
>>16189943P.S.: once it settles you can clearly make out that sweet PdM baseline. So basically you get PdMs take on Dylan Blue/Sauvage/Bleu
>>16189952Oh wow, at least Tuscan Leather is smooth. Encre Noire is so piercing that must have been awful.
>>16189888This sounds snice desu, I keep going back and forth on grabbing the intense or original, might give this a look
>>16189868JV Dark Rebel is pretty good but it's longevity is terrible. Don't listen to those assholes on fragrantica saying it has moderate longevity, that's bullshit
>>16189974PdM isn't bad, don't get that impression. It's just another brand like Creed that is good but overpriced. It's easy to get the idea that an expensive brand means high quality scents that will blow you away but unfortunately what you get doesn't compare with what you imagine it will be
>>16190174Well that, and Demi shills them relentlessly because her boyfriend’s family owns the brand, which is sketchy as fuck. They’re also middle eastern, despite marketing themselves as a French brand.
>>16190187at least its not """marketing""" by capitalist cunts
>>16190138I don't mind the jv frags but the performance on every single one I've sampled has been terrible
>>16190187I'm not defending them or their bullshit, but there's a lot of sketchy business practices by these designer brands and producers of luxury goods. I'm fairly certain that if you wanted to you could find something distasteful about all of them. So at a certain point, we're all looking the other way, aren't we?
>>16187966Ah I remember that coffee candy. Ironically I got it with my decant of Espresso Royale and just thought they were havin a laff. Completely unwearable and I need to take preemptive Imitrex to spray it on.>>16188054I've the ones I've tried, Candy Night. I'd say Black Orchid but that's cheating almost. I want Sephora to allow you to spray on testers already so that I can go sniffing more. Fuck the coof
>>16190213Yeah, they do perform terrible. It's a shame, they have some snice scents too
Artisan Pure is one of my fav scents but its gone after an hour or two
>>16188054Not feminine per se, but some of the softer, leathers can you drive crazy on the right woman. I just love smelling stuff like Bois Mysterieux / Songe d'un Bois d'Ete or even Tuscan Leather on a female
>>16189437I actually wish I could get the smell of Gillette "cool wave" in spray form.:^(
