what are the least tryhard combat boots? I like the medium-high cut with baggy pants tucked in look
>what's the least try hard ____?you're already trying too hard by asking
>>15974372wearing anything high when you are a civvie is cringe and tryhard.
>>15974407those look like women's boots
>>15974372Jungle boots, don't tuck or blouse.
>>15974574Yep this, it can be coyote or Chair Force-- just don't blouse or tuck. They're great for any terrain. Might be ugly to you, but these are some comfortable very solid boots. Got these issued to me in miltary school and I still wear them 7 years later. There's a ton of quality combat boots out there. Tactical Research, Garmont, Danner, and Oakley all make a quality boot.
>>15974372either all black or brownand not coyote tactishit 5.11 condor MADE IN USA back the blue boogaloo brownjust brown leather
>>15974436>boots literally worn by troops in one of the most devastating wars in human history, girly because they don't look like clowish high boots to some edgy 17 year oldThis is your brain on /fa/
>>15974436>those look like women's bootsSo by looking at this picture, so do high boots, perhaps some style can be you know, unisex like suits, fucking retard.
>>15974372I have pair of Steels and god those are uncomfortable as hell!
>>15974590Danner is the only one of those that makes a decent boot, and they’re not great. I bet you wear tennis shoes all day and complain if you have to walk two miles for something
I think people will contradict this because these might seem like the most tryhardbut since this is real life and real things are taken into consideration, after owning a dozen 'real leather' boots and wearing them often enough, leather is the tryhard way to go.Do you need to look like a reenactor or can you go with something comfortable, light, practical? Danner makes excellent leather boots, but demand is for their tactical/military boots to look more like this because it's more functional. Rule of thumb, if function is sacrificed for aesthetic, you're going down tryhard way>>15975562but they are great. what does your insult even mean I honestly don't know, being uncomfortable makes you look more authentic and cool, is that it?
>>15974407>wearing anything high when you are a civvie is cringe and tryhard.Your ape brain is showing, no one is going to take your advice seriously when you use phrases like 'civvie'
>>15974372combat boots are lame, get something more efficient to get on and off
A kid in my neighborhood dresses like op’s picture except with black cargo pants. I think he is a self proclaimed “neighborhood watch enforcer”. He just stomps around all day looking like he’s protecting the neighborhood with his antifa shirt tucked in. It’s pretty sad, we need more mental health access for the youth these days
>>15974372If you don't want combat boots why don't you get some good boots instead?
>>15974699>boots worn by goy meat who died for israel look girlyyeah
>>15975585Almost believed you until the antifa shirt. How boring your life must be to larp like this. Sad!
>>15977047i know this isn't /mu/ but stillhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEe4i2osF5A
>>15976851>>15975585na i buy it. Give that kid a rifle
>>15974699Protip, what happened to those boots or who wore them doesn't matter jack shit to how they look. Maybe it does to you because you've seen dozens of picture of manly soldiers wearing those. The average normie hasn't....That's said I don't think they look like womens boots. Just saying.
>>15977102they are just average looking boots of the early-mid 20th century, work boots looked the same. if anything higher laced boots are MORE feminine, look at these Victorian women's boots, and women still wear high laced boots.
>>15975562No, they all make fantastic boots. I do treework and landscaping. Pic related are my work boots, also great. I don’t understand your insult here.
Choose quality.Choose White's.
>>15974716>unisex like suitsyou really dont know many things do you
>>15977357apart from buttoning up on the left hand side, yes, they kind of are these days, you see plenty of women wearing suit jackets and trousers with a button up shirt.
>>15977196thats something a fantasy raven witch would wear
>>15977076>literally a song about a fag talking shit and getting hit
>>15977276why would you spend $700 to larp as a logger in fucking cork white's?
>>15974407Being in the army is cringe and tryhardAlso stupid
>>15975580Combat boots are efficient
>>15974699you got butthurt by his reply. what does it have to do by the particular boot looking like the ones being worn by the soldiers in previous times with them looking girly for someone ?
>>15977496They suits are also cut differently you dunce.
>>15974407>civviepls stop you are trying too hard
>>15979264what about the navy
>>15975572These are comfy but don't hold up
>>15980189>15980189Gay. They shag each other.
>>15974590I second this. I had a pair of rocky sv2's and they lasted me almost 9 years until I kept on leaving them outside and they got a bit of rot.
>>15977276>>15980397I'm sure these are quality if you have actual work to do but they look horrible. Why post them on a fashion forum?
>>15980407you have bad taste

>>15974372>least tryhard combat bootsThe only options are these:>you're actually in the army or whatever and have real, literal Combat Boots that you wear when shooting third worlders>you're a larping faggot and want to play dressup for airsoft or some shit
>>15974372Don't really care about the tryhard factorWhat are the best black, tall, combat or>muh tacticoolboots? Can't get too hot, and have to have padding around the ankles at least.Dropped my motorcycle on my foot in Sambas and don't want to feel that again. Don't feel like buying real motorcycle boots though.Adidas GSG 9.2s apparently aren't sold anymore. I hear 5.11s are good if anyone's got more to say on that.
>>15980803are those whites spring heel logger boots? are they ok in casual environments with their hobnails ?
Retard here, how do you hide the long laces?
>>15981423I go around the back
>>15974372first, stop worrying about looking "tryhard"
>>15974574cringe and gay
I got myself a pair of these a while ago and they strike a good intermediate spot between edgy combat boots and formal shoes.
>>15980305its not gay if youre underway
Which one FA?
>>15983229Are those prices american dollars? Niether
>>15983229get a job and buy some decent boots

>>15974372They're gonna look larpy if you tuck in baggy pants like in the pic
>>15974372this literally jsut looks like aladdin from the disney movie aladdin LOL
>>15981413i have both the caulks and lug-sole, which is in the picture you replied tothe lug sole is fine for normal wear, the caulks (nails) are not and will severely damage any material you walk on. the caulks are designed for digging into wood fibers when moving around a forest or log deck
>>15974372Are there combat boots that protect your feet but also let it breathe and don't require you to wear socks
>>15984960steel toed crocdocs is what you're after my galso, what the FUCK
>>15974372german army fliegenstifel are probs one of the few military boots that look ""high fashion"" (wrong term ik, i just mean weird styling) - they also fix the main issue with mil boots in the lacing speed (yes, speedlacing is a thing but boots with eyelets/speedhooks are just slower than a single zip)
>>15975562I've got a pair of the s00per high speed oakley assault boots and they're my favorite thing to do 12+ mile rucks with because I'm not a faggot bitch who has glass bones. Only downside is the tread on them wears out fast.
>>15974372austrian memes for this style>>15985284how is high fashion not tryhard
>>15985985as in they're not tryhard "i'm in le military"/"I'm le skinhead xDD", boots will always be tryhard unless they're like ankle height or you're a girl.
>>15974372The ones issued to you.
uggs with camo
>>15986856nah this is not true. my standard issue boot is this ugly mf. and the coyote ones are even worse.
>>15986895okkkkk it didnt attach image

>>15974372For when you don't want to look like a larping tacticoolcat, but still want that sturdy steel toe feel.
>>15984960>protect your feetAll of them>let it breatheLeather is "breathable" in that it absorbs water to a degree. Or you get jungle/canvas/etc. boots. I always suggest austrian canvas boots.>don't require you to wear socksSo basically this is all up to how tough your feet are. Soft leather lining will help. If you want to be disgusting like that you best get pure leather shoes - leather in contact with skin will not smell quite as bad as fabric. I know that there was a period when southern european armies (italy, spain, maybe france) wore leather boots without socks, but this practice was generally considered inferior by more northern armies, even for hot weather. Also, modern leather contains things you don't want touching your skin. Search for veg tan leather if you're so inclined on this. (Also, I've worn my soft leather lined boots without socks a few times and it feels disgusting and makes a pumping sound as if I was constantly farting. Not recommending it.)
>>15987719oh okayi like boots and i was just worried about breathability because of "Trench Foot" i don't know if boots can shrink and make it harder to get off if you stay in water for too long
>>15986936based boot fagpost feet
>>15987757my g you'll only get trench foot if your feet are submerged in water/never dried for DAYS - just air out your boots by just loose lacing them and propping them against the wall so air is directed into them - but really thats only necessary if you're not wearing socks.
>>15987915so socks good to protect against trench foot?okay i get it nowi'll be a boot boy
>>15987923Dude, what do you expect to be doing that you fear trench foot? It doesn't happen in normal circumstances. If your feet are super sweaty or something, you can change socks, that will take some moisture out of the boot. (Actually pls don't. Imagine the smell...) Back in the days, it was often suggested you wear two pairs alternatingly so each pair can dry out completely inbetween uses. Also fucking wear socks, seriously. It's unhygienic and may cause superficial injury to your foot if you don't - which is actually a risk factor for trench foot.
>>15987941alright yeah i got it man chill
>>15987950 >>15987941 not me ^but he's right, if you're planning some long ass trip (based on your Q's) alternating socks will do it, wool socks will dry out from sweat in a day if you invert em and hang em on a bag(im - >>15987915)enjoy boot
>>15977047get you a man that can do both
>>15982084What are they and w2c?

Can't go wrong with Martens, and they're sold almost anywhere. They come in Chelsea style if you don't wanna draw too much attention.Steel toe is ridiculous and will make you look like Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

are bata boots good if you live in a cold environment?
>>15990592gee i wonder
>>15991095I mean are they also viable aesthetically
>what is least tryhard>I like tucked in lookbuddy, I like it, too, but it's the most fucking tryhard aspect of your appearance, and you fucking know it. You can tuck that shit in if you want, but your boots go from "Oh cool, good looking, functional stompers" to "larping airsoft/gelsoft/CoD gamer" instantly
>>15991226I have a pair and wear em all the time. The sizing is fucked—I had to size down 2 so keep that in mind if you buy online.
They're just maximum comfy, /fa/
