I'll start: Would wearing pants and shoes of the same color look dumb? It's an idea I really like for a specific fit, but I'm not sure if it would look bad or dumb based off of color theory. Here are the pants, and shoes can be posted if requested.
>>
>>15727942
it would look dumb bro. unless it was white pants and white shoes and it was a white party.

now tell me. what color would be the socks?
>>
>>15727984
maybe, but i think i'll try it all the same. and i've often been told to match the color of the socks to the pants, but in this case i don't own cream-colored socks, so i'd probably try a navy.

Light pants with light shoes is the way to go. Elongates the leg and avoids the shoe being the center of attention. Unless you want to feature your shoe because it is super interesting
>>
the fact that all you guys are taking into consideration is the pants and shoes is a bit interesting (besides the sock guy)
anyone think that the top half should be probably considered ffs?
>>
Why does the sticky never get updated?

I just got my first bomber and I have literally no idea what to wear with it other than all black
I look up bomber inspo and the only thing I see is 2012 shit with longline tees and ripped jeans and boring menswear fits, so what pairs well with a black bomber that isnt boring
>>
>>15728504
that's the idea i had when initially thinking of the fit, glad i'm not crazy for thinking that way.
>>15728508
i feel like a pair of cream-colored jeans is pretty easy to work with, so i'm not worried about that aspect, but the main idea i had at first was something like a deep navy tee, not sure about the fit of it.
>>15728518
if it makes you feel better, i did consult it before posting, it just didn't give any useful information for my question.
>>

What is this Salomon shoe?
The store has it listed as Salomon Campside but I can't find it in any other store under the same name. Is this new old stock from couple of years ago? It's priced at 80€

Also any recommendations for a shoe that I could wear at work.

>>
Where to get a good quality chambray shirt, preferably gray? Would like something thicker but still don't want it to look too much like denim.
>>
>>15730138
How much are you willing to pay? Any major city you can go to a tailor and get a shirt of pretty much any fabric starting at $200.
>>
>>15730151
I'm a uni student desu so probably don't want to go that route, I have savings to comfortably buy some higher-end things but I'd rather spend it on things like decent shoes that I'll only buy one of and that aren't likely to change size.
>>
>>15728057
Not the best rule. Matching the brightness in your bottom half shows a more conservative taste. Think navy chinos or dress pants with dark brown boots or dress shoes. Black jeans with black sneakers/boots. Also, this makes more sense for darker months like fall and winter. For summer, I feel making all your pieces more lighter also is a common approach. White sneakers with light blue shorts just screams summer.

Also my QTDDTOT: What do you guys think of five-pocket pants. I've been considering them since I feel chinos are usually too formal in my life and the work I do. Thinking of transitioning, but was wondering if anyone else really wears it and would recommend it. Unsure if it's just a weird in-between for chinos and jeans.

what are the best ways of hiding thin forearms/wrists and small hands? I don't know anything about clothes. what kind of jumpers/shirts should I wear? will wrist accessories make it more or less noticeable? are there any plastic surgeries? should I shave my arms?

From experience I feel a lot less embarrassed with oversized sleeves, but there are still problems if the fabric is loose and tends to cling to my forearms. It might be hard to tell in pic how bad it is, but I have very small hands, like the size of a 10 year old girl's hands. the wrist is about 2inches across.

fellas, i need help. i live in cold climate and i have a black coat i wear in winter (like picrelated). currently i only own blue and light blue jeans. i was thinking of buying a pair of black jeans too. i'm looking to make an outfit that is not dressy but not casual either, something in the middle of formality spectrum, slightly under business casual.
now the question: what sort of shoes do i wear with my outfit? should i go for black or blue/light blue jeans, and what color shoes should i get? ideally for fall/winter but it if its just winter its fine.

Hi,
I have an old oversized leather jacket from my late dad. Like 35 years old.
It's sheepskin, quite comfy and all.
BUT It's ubersized, like it's an XXL and i'm usually wearing L sized stuff. And my dad was smaller than me, I don't understand why he got that size.

Questions are:
How are these supposed to fit?
Does it look funny on me?
Should i keep it?

TIA

Hey bros I'm at a bit of loss here and could really use some outside opinions. Pictured here is the same jacket on different models in different sizes. Because I'm 185/ 6"1 I tend to sit between M and L on most things but they don't sell this jacket locally anymore meaning I cant try it on.

The model on the left is wearing a size M
The model on the right is wearing a size L

Both are basically the same height and weight, which matches mine as well. I'm leaning more towards the right pic because although the jacket is already made in a relaxed style, the stacking and looser feel in the right pic seems more up my alley.

What do you anons suggest?

The shoulders feel that way to some degree. I was just curious as to whether or not it was egregiously so.

Here’s where my natural shoulder roughly ends. It ain’t as bad as other I’ll-fitting coats I’ve tried though. It’s good on the arms and waist.

So it’s probably for the best I send it back to the eBay seller from whence it came?

How do I achieve this style? What basic items should my wardrobe consist of?
>>
>>15741999
checked
your get is the devil trips in disguise, however, and you should take that as a sign to avoid this style.
it never works. the only instance where you can pull this off if you're under 50 is if you're a young college professor. how you'd get that position in the first place - no clue.

i wear semi-formal suit pants with boots and sweaters.
maybe a coat over it.
gets me compliments from normies so i'd say my advice is inoffensive at worst.

Ok so I'm a retard from a very low class white upbringing going for a low/middle management job (like $80k/y) soon and im not sure how to dress. Im thinking my usual collared shirt with work boots isnt gonna cut it but full suit and tie is way overdressed. Its also in the tropics so short sleeve dress shirt is the norm.
So im thinking dress pants and shoes with a short sleeve business shirt. My only issue is walking around the cbd 90% of the corperate cucks look daggy as fuck. Any recommendation or tips?

Sup. Need UK/London specific advice. I'm a 5'9 (175) 30 lvl man, just came here from another country. Almost every shop I go to I see clothes made for 180-185 cm dudes. M&S even states this on model height info on their website. My M shoulders and L ass is big enough problem as it is, but now I struggle to find anything which fits my height. Any advice on UK shops for 175cm man?

Anyone have experience with shopping addiction? Since I downloaded poshmark ~5 months ago I can't stop spending. I've made around $1500 on the website selling and have spent it all & more on my own purchases. I was looking at a black friday sale to buy some christmas presents & I looked at my bank balance and I literally have $3 in savings.

I know I need to just get myself off poshmark but at the moment it's my only income so I need to log on multiple times a day to share my items. I'm thinking I won't buy anything for a month and then try to limit myself to one purchase a month? Is that still too much?

Maybe I should go to /adv/ but I'm hoping someone here can relate

thoughts on collared shirt/leather jacket/khakis? are there better brown pants?
>>
>>15748592
Depends, are they dress slacks or twill?
Also good luck with finding a leather jacket that fits. Imo, if you're short you gotta make sure your jackets arent too long or else they make you look like a kid wearing his dad's clothes.
>5'7" twink so I know where you're coming from

If you want a moto leather jacket, try straight to hell apperal. They have decent sizing for a price that won't break your bank.also their holiday sale is now.

Finally, what kind of collared shirt? If it's a work/ western shirt I think it'll work but if it's like a polo or a dress shirt I'd say no. If you wear a leather jacket but work a desk job you're either italian or a fag or both

What color of sweaters should I get?
I have a green and a blue crewneck ones.
I want to expand my wardrobe with v neck ones as well. Navy? Grey?
What pants should I wear with them?
>>
>>15749386
navy and grey are good yes. take burgundy if it fits your hair, p good for fall/winter and pairs well with tan colors. same with olive. muted brown for more conservative/mature look. if you want something more original and different, try orange, mustard, violet or red.
tan chinos with sweater is a classic combo, they go with most colors. olive goes well with blue/navy and brown/tan, but is harder to pair with everything else.
