Slightly different thread than usual. What do you /diy/nosaurs listen to while working on things?
>inb4 silence

Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod
Days of the New - Phobics of Tragedy
Judas Priest - Breaking The Law
Alice In Chains - Would
Primus - My Name Is Mud

I prefer silence... Or the sound of the equipment I'm running.

Other than that Classic or 90's country, and some classic rock.
>>
if i'm wiring or soldering compoments, it'd be just about anything: jazz, samba, reggae
for everything else, standup comedy or a podcast
why put on music if you're going to mask some of the frequencies?

The New Testament. I absorb it so much more when I hear it as opposed to reading it. The guy on 100 chapters on YouTube has a great voice too.

I also listen to mad at the internet every Friday too. Josh is hilarious.

I’ve never been to church in my life. Mensa sends me happy birthday emails because I was in it for 2 years when I was 21 because I thought it would look good on my resume. I never renewed.

It was a nice attempt you made there but nowhere near reality.

>proceeds to admit he doesnt tithe, he doesnt gather and praise in the house of worship, he isnt baptised

Yeah it sounds like you are an even bigger faggot than originally thought.
The two paltry things you bragged about to project an image, turns out you only half ass them and cant even be dedicated.
Its kind of pathetic really

I match music to my mood and what project im working on.
Sometimes I want fast and upbeat, something I can mindlessly sing along to, something slow and repetitive to get me into a "zone" type trance etc etc. It changes depending on my energy level too I guess.

I tend to like groovy long music, on the slower side most of the time. The longer the better, 25 minute songs are A-OK with me. Keeps you focused.
So lots of stoner/doom metal, desert rock and the like.
For upbeat fast shit its 90s dance/techno and 90s G-funk/gangster rap or just some death metal/thrash metal.

Just a handful of shit ive been playing a lot recently

Depends on the task. Off the top of my head;

> Shop work
Devolved, Judas Priest, Fear Factory, Behemoth, Kublai Khan, Hypocrisy, Deicide; mostly death metal with a heavy tech edge.
> Coding/electronics
Autechre, Squarepusher, Venetian Snares, Cosmos computer music, Locust Toybox, Aphex, Psytrance mixes; precise glitchy wobbly goodness.
> Study
Brian Eno, Paul Horn, Steve Roach, Tangerine Dream, Stars of Lid, Decoder Ring, Boards of Canada, LoFi stream; ambient and downtune time.

In my shop, the radio is set to 95.7 fm. The Riiiiiide. If spotify, it's heavier. From Autumn to Ashes, Poison the Well, August Burns Red, Thrice. Etc.

Good choice. I highly recommend Chuck Missler, physicist, engineer, great apologist, and very knowledgeable on the Bible. Has a great series call "Learn the Bible in 24 Hour"

It could change your lives anons. I'm a Catholic Christian after going to an evangelical church for about 20 years and still would recommend it to any Christian demonization because the fundamental things you learn through Chuck Missler's bible study is so great.

Im not a huge rap connoisseur, but Biggie and Tupac have a lot of really great verses over really shitty tracks.
Once their verses are remixed over actual good beats they become a WAY better to listen to.

I mean can anyone with a straight face say Ten Crack Commandments isnt a really fucking rough track?
