Hello Diy! Sorry for not responding to the last thread, it took longer than I thought it would to get everything ready to close. To answer some questions from the last thread, I'm 22, I made just under 100k last year. The house was listed for 490,000 but I got it for 505,000. Its a 3 bed, 2 bath. Just over 1,500 sq ft. I'm currently shopping for paint and new flooring. My apartment lease is through the end of February, I plan on getting as much as I can done before I have to move in. I'll be sure to check in at least once a day now, I'll post some pictures of the interior later in the day or early tomorrow morning. Does anyone here know how to install laminate flooring? I'll start tearing the old stuff out soon. I'll probably use this same picture and title to make it easier to find in the future. Thanks for all the interest, I'm really looking forward to starting!
These are some pics off redfin. I'm working today, I'll take some more tomorrow when I get to the house. One of the big projects I want to do eventually is take out all or most of the brick around the fireplace.

The interior isn't what I'd call my style, but it's relatively well done, still in good condition, and coherent throughout the house. You spent a half mil on a house that looks like an old tool shed from the outside, and you want to remodel the inside?Put the money into a new exterior material, and the yard.
