If there's one thing I have trouble with getting into 2012 TMNT is that all of the mutant designs are so fucking wacky and exaggerated and kinda horrifying, and they don't shy away from acknowledging that's the case and everyone except the turtles fucking hates everything about being a mutant, but they all just stay that way or get worse the longer the story goes on.
