Did something happen behind the scenes during the making of season 5?This show was never good but holy shit everything that went on during this season was extra bad. it felt like scorched earth going into effect so they could start over with a new arc and status quo.

They've really been pushing that angle for Chloe since season four and it pretty much became comical in this season how bad she is. Though I do wonder about that last encounter with Marinette she had. Like you said, it seemed like it was supposed to be a victory for Marinette but it also felt like a horribly bad end for Chloe. Which I guess after the way they set her up recently these last two seasons was what she deserved, but it is kind of funny that of all characters, Chloe is the only one to get a bad end.
