Has a cartoon ever made you cry?
No because I'm not a faggot.
>>134230007Crying doesn't make you a faggot, anon. It's okay to cry. Let your feelings out.
>>134229990Have you ever seen The Iron Giant? Fuck yes I’ve cried at a cartoon.
>>134230007Repressed much? What else are you keeping bottled up inside anon?
>>134229990Not a /co/ one...THAT Pokemon episode, you know the oneNo, not the one about the supid butterfly
>>134229990I didn't even care when that lame ass cop got killed off, not an African American, and I don't care when literally who characters get the axe. Even in Batman's episode when they pretended Batgirl was killed off I didn't give a shit because i didn't care about shitty Barbara Gordon. To make a character's death mean something the character must be important in some way. And another thing, a character who only exists to get killed off like say Leomon from Digimon? I stop giving a shit because being killed off is the expected default.A death must always happen to a character that means something in the story by being shown to be important and the death can only happen once. After the first time the death means nothing.
>>134229990>ONE GUY DIED!!!Call me edgy, but this always seemed very cheesy to me. In real wars people die by thousands. In a real war Superman wouldn't have time to dramatically stand on one person's grave to pay respects because there'd be thousands of similar graves and every casualty would ultimately get lost in the sea of others. That's what wars are all about.
>>134230517That cop was a recurring part of the supporting cast though.
>>134230586Even worse they tried to play it off as even criminals like Lex Luthor cared that some disposable cop died. So much drama for a character no one cared about. And I think the way the cop died was stupid, he provoked a violent tyrant from another dimension by insulting him directly. You are begging for something like that to happen. I agree with Darkseid's line in the episode, every victory has its price. And frankly no one has ever cared about the cop guy I'm still struggling to remember his name. Dan Turnip, just looked him up. Some disposable character who is meant to be the Metropolis version of Gotham's Bullock. And similarly Turnip is paired with a lesbian partner that Dini sneaked past the censors but by now dykes would be open and celebrated as "brave."What a shit fest.
>>134229990Yes, but for personal reasons more than what happened in the actual episode
No. I'm not a dumb child.
>>134229990Bart Gets An F made me cry back in high school
>are you real?
>>134231139>admits to being a childMODS
>>134230586Because it's Superman, and Superman is supposed to be able to save everybody.
I've always had a crippling fear of death. There's an episode of Rocko's Modern Life about the bermuda triangle, and in it, the old wolf gets to be young again but at the end has to go back to being old. He gives a speech at the end about growing old and seeing loved ones die and losing your ability to live life like you wanted and it always freaked me out as a kid. I don't know if I actually cried but man, it bothered me.
>le normal man accomplished more than SupermanWay to admit that you're ineffective Clark.
>>134229990This moment from the latest Helluva Boss. I was abandoned by my birth parents too, so this moment brought back a lot of those nasty feelings of being unloved and unwanted, and being treated like you're a burden to everyone in your life. HB has been getting into more emotionally tense stuff but this is the first one to get to me.
A little bithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUlg8Y_mLfA
>>134229990Like a bitch
I thought Midnight Gospel was a pretty mixed bag, but I honestly consider the whole show to be worth it just for the emotional sincerity of the final episode.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLvUztp7Iog
>>134232129I don't know who played young Powder but I hope she won a voice acting award
>>134230646>lesbianfuck you, Maggie is bae
>>134230646that "disposable character" was modeled after the late Jack Kirby ya dwimwit!this aired years after his passing and was paying tribute to him since he drew and wrote all the New Gods that were in that two parter.hell, the original airing had background characters in the funeral that looked strikingly similar to most of Jack Kirby's creations. some were from Marvel though, and ever since it had been altered, and the original footage was considered lost media until recently:https://youtu.be/xpuisXPWnMU
>>134230470The one with the Pikachu village?
>>134230470-it's the one where ash lost the indigo league isn't it?
>>134230007>>134233266The Romans considered a man who can't cry to be broken in mind and soul, for a man without emotions won't have empathy for his fellow soldiers in combat, and therefore can't be trusted to defend them.
Like a baby, that and Ace Batman scene.
>>134230007>noooo catharsis le bad!!>is better to be angro all the time!!!whos an edgy boy? you are, yes you are!
It was the moment when Bonnie reached for Woody and Andy pulled away. Really hit home.
>>134234840And then she basically abandoned Woody anyway. Fucking bitch.
>>134234840I cried when they made toy story 4. It was that bad.
>>134232527This felt somewhat forced to me but the episode about his brother naming his kid Fry made me cry like a bitch due to family history. Been in a situation where I thought my brother was being a cunt to me for awhile until I found out the context and felt like a piece of shit before so it really hit home.
>>134233228YupLike a little bitch
