>MC doesn't believe in Santa and really wants some specific present.
>They get it somehow without Santa throughout the episode.
>They give the present they really wanted to some bootleg Tiny Tim character.
>The real Santa shows up and gives MC the present he wanted behind his back and there's a scene of Santa flying off in the sky.
Am I crazy or have I scene this exact plot or at least very similar plots multiple times?

No but while we're on this point if you want to teach kids morals why don't you give them realistic sceneries with realistic consequences/payoff with the fun stuff added on for entertainment instead of the unrealistic stuff being the focus with the morals awkwardly tacked on?
