what cartoon/comic creators come to /co/ ?

Anyone and everyone really, which is a good tactic honestly so the creators can read unfiltered and nonbiased criticisms about their show

I remember being really inspired by Miki Brewster's boards and thinking I just had to do it like that.As for what to put in a portfolio, I'd say one action sequence, one dramatic/intimate acting sequence and one comedy sequence, and within those be sure to show your roughest state of boards as long as they're clear, and also some more clean ones since your first job would probably be as a board revisionist. >Did you watch Mitchell vs the Machine movie yet?Not yet, I'm finding it pretty difficult to care about mainstream animated films lately
>>122801144We all know Jeph posts his terrible fucking comic here every fucking day
I used to post here occasionally back in 2010-2012 when I worked with Butch on T.U.F.F. Puppy. Back then you could get some earnest feedback on episodes from anons, but if I was doing it for a show now, I guarantee all the responses would be sexual in nature. Not to say there weren't a fair share of them then as well, but now I see maybe 80% of posts by coomers/fujos and it's sad. I just want to hope I didn't contribute to kids growing into those cum hounds that post on /co/ now, but I can't say for sure.
>>122801172The only ones I know who post here currently are Dino Anon (High Guardian Spice) and some Onyx Equinox people, but I've seen some posts here that allude to others that I maybe don't know about.Other cool industry people in general that /co/ would know of? I worked for Lauren Faust for a bit and she was like 10/10 coolest meet your heroes time. Just super nice and chill, and I was touched at how much she appreciates her Horse Show fans. She just really wants to make fun shows. Matt Braly runs the happiest crew at DTVA and is an all around good dude. People I don't know very well but have been really supportive of my wife and her show are Jhonen Vasquez, Jorge Gutierrez and Owen DennisAlso my current boss is Famous Pixar Man, who I don't like talking about publicly only because people get weird about it, but he's chill, he really just loves making animation, and I like him.
>>122801474>my current boss is Famous Pixar ManI know who you talking about. You said he's a cool guy. But there's one thing I don't like about him is that he doesn't like Lilo and Stitch. Sure, maybe being anonymous means you can have more honest opinions as there's far less pressure to sugarcoat or take the same opinion as everyone else, but that doesn't mean it dont come with it's own problems. You could make something like a tomboy muscle girl character and most of you fuckers are on reaction going to call it SJW shit. When in reality, all you wanted to do is just make a show with your waifu OC. God forbid you ship her with girls just cause lesbians make you rock hard. You can't make it subtle anymore, you have to go, "Yes this is obvious fetish fuel, look at how big her tits and ass is" before y'all calm down. Yes, I find side cuts kinda hot, and maybe I do have her dressed like early 2000s DeviantArt scene, but that's just cause I found it hot as a kid then, and I still find it hot as fuck now.

>>122814992Yes it will be released. Things are happening, Dino anon has suffered greatly and remained optimistic throughout the process and I really commend him for that. >>122802193Any shorts that you can post links to? seems interesting
>>122817674What is your comic?
>>122817838Well, Crunchyroll was able to trick Idris Alba and the fucking WWE of all things for anime. The WWE thing is true and I wish I was joking
I've been writing comics for a few years now and worked with several different artists, I had a mindset of 'slow and steady'. Take a few years to build an audience, learn the craft, make contacts/friends in the industry. So far it's kinda worked out I guess. I feel what holds me back is that I haven't made any big pushes yet with my stuff. Doing a crowdfunder or pitching more to publishers. I keep telling myself it's just I'm too busy with work/school but I haven't actually been doing shit there that's time consuming. Pretty sure I've become my own worse enemy.
>>122817728I unironically believe representation matters but 80% of creators are doing it either to meet the status quo or to make themselves look better. There's a ton of shows coming down the pipe with black or mixed female leads but the showrunner is. 40-something white guy, and a lot of times it just feels like they wouldn't do it if they didn't think they had to. There's a million black creators out there with better ideas anyway. I also feel like if you start a character with "let's make a [marginalized group] character!" Instead of making a character and then making that thing a natural part of them, it's going to feel pandery. Totally subjective opinion here, but I'm a lesbian and I'm sick of lesbians being the go-to cartoon representation of choice. It feels both "safe" and predictable at this point. >>122817800Shocked that he said that on here lol>>122817838Sofi went to CR specifically because anime was her main influence both storytelling wise and aesthetic wise. Mexico and Latin America got a lot more anime on TV than we did in the states and it wasn't localized like it was here, so that was just something that stuck with her. Onyx has a really good exec who cares a lot about the project too. We knew we were taking a risk with this brand new studio, but there were unexpected things as well. Tl;dr I think people who specifically want to do anime influenced stuff without kids' TV restrictions go to CR.
>>122819663>Totally subjective opinion here, but I'm a lesbian and I'm sick of lesbians being the go-to cartoon representation of choice. It feels both "safe" and predictable at this point.This. I blame She-Ra for this to happen. I'm tired of this or the usual "lesbian moms"/"gay dads". It's so uninspired yet creators give themselves a pat on the back for it.and before you say I'm homophobic I'm bi actually
>>122819663>Tl;dr I think people who specifically want to do anime influenced stuff without kids' TV restrictions go to CR.But are creators interested in working with Crunchyroll after how they fucked over High Guardian Spice? I think most western artists would go to Netflix for /co/ anime, it's how Yasuke became a thing.
>>122819663>Tl;dr I think people who specifically want to do anime influenced stuff without kids' TV restrictions go to CR.lol, just wait until the merger happens
>>122820310lesbians are the new safe bet for a character trait now anon, you cant go wrong with them when it comes to promoting your stuff since you can use it to deflect pretty much any criticism no matter how true it might be.
>>122820310I hope that I get to create a lesbian character one day so I can make her an unapologetically terrible person>>122820378I wouldn't know. For Onyx, the fear with Netflix was that it wouldn't get the marketing it deserved (haha.) And that it would get drowned out by all the other content. In retrospect Netflix is just a lot more accessible :(
>>122820752>I hope that I get to create a lesbian character one day so I can make her an unapologetically terrible personI believe in you Storyboard anon! I'm also thinking of making a gay/lesbian mentors in the future based on my three teachers who helped me who I am today. They were super cool.
>>122820752>I hope that I get to create a lesbian character one day so I can make her an unapologetically terrible personMake her Scumbag Steve but with a vagina.
>>122800801Tell us about Viv.Is she a cunt as some try to paint her?Is it true she can't take criticism? What about the writing for the shows?
>>122816035I know that's a cardinal sin or some shit but I used Reddit before, I know every forum tends to have some hive-minded opinion but Reddit has it worst simply due to the fact they decided to make a rating system on a forum, which is stupid since it just promotes harming discussions, 4chan not only doesn't have a rating system it just has fewer rules so people can complain about dykes without being banned for life
>>122820752>For Onyx, the fear with Netflix was that it wouldn't get the marketing it deservedNetflix depends on word of mouth advertising for a show to get huge, it's what worked with DoTA, BoZ and Yasuke.
>>122820752But CR dumped a decent amount of money on OE's advertising, is it because CR has much lower subscriber numbers than Netflix?
>>122822910I've met a lot of unreasonable, irritable, take-themselves-too-seriously people in this business and Viv is not one of them. She's super friendly and easy to talk to. I'm just continuously impressed by her ability to make a show and coordinate staff on her own, there's so many moving parts it makes my head spin. I worked with her on a brief story thing and her ideas were all really solid and she was really good at working in a group.I've never seen anything about not taking criticism, but to be honest, seeing someone I love (and various other cool people) struggle through trying to put their heart and soul into something, being aware of it's shortcomings and trying to overcome them but being held back by whatever restrictions.... I can understand why someone would get defensive. If a cartoon comes out good, it's a miracle. It's really frustrating when something doesn't go as planned and you just have to make the best of it. That's just my personal experience though.Honestly not many people can make it through being a showrunner without somebody getting mad at you. When it's artists, writers, actors etc there are always a lot of egos involved. I think the literal only person I know of who everybody loves and has a drama-free show is Matt lol
>>122823141In my inexperienced eyes, I'd expected them to really push marketing onto fans of Western animation which would expand their userbase. I thought that was the plan, but aside from some mainstream Mexican news sources (Sofi was on Canal 5 and Televisa) it seemed to be mostly anime focused, and naturally weeaboos are going to push back against anything western.
>>122823313>She's super friendly and easy to talk toMy guess is because she's a crabchad like >>122804402 says. Somewhat seriously, I imagine not being born into the SoCal bubble like a lot of animators are would probably be helpful? Or is it a detriment, because of lack of connections?
>>122823313That's a good insight, I have one question. When comes with personal struggles. How can industry artists manage their stress and anxiety? How do you manage your anxiety to reach to your goals?
>>122823313>Honestly not many people can make it through being a showrunner without somebody getting mad at you. iirc alex hirsch said once he almost quit gravity falls because he couldn't handle showrunning, but pushed on eventually.
>>122823391>I'd expected them to really push marketing onto fans of Western animation which would expand their userbaseI believe the point of the CR originals like onyx was that they wanted people who weren't into anime to watch the western stuff and then jump onto other anime on the platform. Yet, they catered onyx to their userbase (i.e. weebs) instead of the general public.
Well you might be gone by now but:>>122813559>When I worked on Tangled they never leaked anything early but they definitely shafted us on scheduling. It's tough to put all that love and work into something and have someone's careless mistake mess it up.Well the vast majority, including most on this board and myself, really like that movie so you guys must have done something right.>>122822814What's the background for this character and why does she go on /x/?
>>122810921>/co/ is an actual marketing demographic. that's terrifyingIt's a safe space for numales and reddit trannies that occured circa 2014 after Tumblr realized they couldn't ban 4chan and just applied for janitor positions.
Currently doing side gigs and odd jobs to make enough money to fund a first episode/pilot animatic while editing the script. Not sure how it'll turn out or how successful it will be, but at the very least I'd have made something that's fully me without having to change it too much to get it finished back in college or being too ambitious and overwhelmed when I was inexperienced. Here's hoping good things happen.
>>122823928Therapy I guess? I have stress and anxiety, but I feel like it's not really that bad. I've had a lot of soul sucking jobs that I barely got by on. Now I basically just get annoyed by storytelling decisions and corporate bullshit. I see a lot of colleagues on twitter agonize over stuff like not being able to draw for themselves/not being productive in their free time or whatever. Personally outside of work I just do whatever I feel like doing and I feel pretty relaxed most of the time.
>>122826015I worked on the show, not the movie! But people really liked the show too. It did take a while to catch on. I used to look for Tangled threads every time an episode aired and there was maybe one every couple of days and it wouldn't last. I'm glad everyone liked Cass in the end.As for that character, tomboy representation>>122826351Good luck anon! What should we be looking out for?
>>122803973They hated anon because he told them the truth.
>>122800204This desuI've been coming to /co/ since I was about 15, now that I'm working I come here to read unbiased opinions on the stuff I work on.
>>122826500>I worked on the show, not the movie!Ah, my mistake then. I haven't seen the series but I've heard really good things both here and elsewhere, so like you said I'm sure people enjoyed it. And I feel like it gets decent discussion on here given that it's been awhile since it finished and it still gets many threads that hit the bump limit every so often. I've been meaning to watch it myself actually, it sounds like something I would enjoy but I haven't gotten around to it. >tomboy representationYeah I think we have been missing some of that lately. And a /x/ tomboy seems super cool, though off the top of my head I'm not entirely sure how it would work lol.
>>122800801Jaxxy or Veronica go to bed. Also tell Tomar I said hi.
>>122826576Back when I first started making comics I shopped my first issue around alot for opinions. Went to different indie circles and most I kept getting was 'its good, I like this,it's a good start, etc' which felt annoying. It wasn't till I storytimed it here that I actually got good feedback. Anons pointed out where they felt my writing was weak and where to improve it in a long paragraph post. I saved it and toiled over it for a while to improve second issue. I still find it funny I had legit pros give me advice but it took coming here to hear something actually helpful.
>>122826648I am none of those people but I hope they like Onyx Equinox>>122826628>I'm not entirely sure how it would work lol.I haven't thought much into her character, but I want to say she gets into fights with strangers who she believes are gangstalking her
>>122826686It also feels extremely validating to see people on here point out story decisions you disagreed with lol
>>122826689>I want to say she gets into fights with strangers who she believes are gangstalking herOh I have another idea for your character! What about she have a gf that always nagging at her like those wife stereotypes who always say "HAROLD".
>>122826738oh...I read it as cum to, /co/
>>122793447I doubt she comes here much anymore, but she used to
>>122826734I made her a manlet/femboy bf but I like that i kind of like the idea of lesbians with heterosexual stereotypes lol
>>122798678This is good colouring, I'm no expert on transformers but I like the layered look.

DIdn't that one guy who made big city greens mention 4chan once?
>>122801079Jesus christ, cat videos don't normally get me but my god
>>122803973You have to just ignore 90% of shit, but I go to work and ignore 90% of what coworkers say too because they don't know what the fuck they are talking about. Life is about trying to discern what to filter out because most of it is retarded bullshit, and my percentage is because I'm counting gossip in that, that's why it's so high, but it's literally what most people spend most of their time caring about.

>>122816035honestly, try having a contrarian opinion on Reddit I was banned from discord cause I said I thought Riri would be a good autistic character. And good luck saying anything critical of Lemire there, the board worships him like a god.
>>122826500Oh geez I didn't expect a response, but I guess to give some details of it without giving away too much, imagine something like "There's a man in the woods" in the style of a dark Cohen Brothers movie, and with everyone kind of looking like this cat from John Dillworth's old film.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUmkf_l38fAI guess for any advice, have you ever had burnouts from drawing or pushing yourself too hard, and if so, what are some ways you've recovered from them?
>>122826686ya, it's weird, /co/ will nit pick EVERYTHING happening in mainstream comics, but if an true new person comes to try and workshop their ideas we can sometimes gather and actually do some good in the world.
>>122827155I kinda feel like the atmosphere of /co/ has changed since the last time I did that storytime. Felt like a few years ago people were more willing to share their indie work on here, discussions would happen from time to time and there generally would be support. Now it's like if you post your stuff in a thread you'll have to deal with half the posts calling you a shill and trying to bait you into getting mad. Granted it probably always been like that but it just looks like any time some new creator shows up here with an idea anons try really hard to run 'em out.
>>122827192It gets much worse during the summer, but honestly, in December seems the best time to do it. A lot of anons that don't come to /co/ for the rest of the year come back to spread joy.
>>122827051Aw these look great! You're kind of living my dream desu. Do you do all this with three people only or do you hire freelancers etc? Is youtube income the primary source?Vivienne seems to fund helluvaboss with purely youtube money and it's fascinating to me. Kind of tempting to drop out and just make my own shit.>>122827091This sounds dope, what are your plans after the script? As for burnouts, I'm pretty good at compartmentalizing my everyday work from my personal work, so I can almost always get my paid job work done with little suffering. I guess when I'm doing my own stuff I am pretty slow (due to my everyday work) and I tend to do better when I have set deadlines. That being said, on days when I sit down to do personal work and just can't make anything happen, I'll tell myself something like "ok, I'm gonna take two days to just do nothing/whatever I feel like doing and then get back to work." So it's like taking a weekend or whatever. I have a ton of other stupid hobbies outside of drawing, and I find that if I spend some time doing any of those things (especially if it's not computer/screen related) I'm able to focus again when I decide to get back on it.
>>122827176Gotta conceal your power level
>>122827327are you saying that that is any better?
>>122820310Maybe dial that one a bit further back to Adventure Time
>>122827238Times I did threads for my stuff (years apart for this) was one in late august and two in November. Late august yielded best results for feedback while November ones were okay.>>122827270A quick question, have you ever had the feeling of pressure that something you worked on isn't gonna be well received? Cause I'm gonna be releasing a short soon I wrote and worked on with an animator friend. I'm just toiling over everything to make sure it's as perfect as it can be before release. A part in the back of my head is still hitting at me like 'this isn't gonna go as well as you hope, be ready just in case'
>>122827192Anytime I post my work people assume it's someone else's. Apparently my stuff looks a lot like some porn artist's style only it's all SFW so it's a mix of people pissed that it's not porn, or being called out for being some other artist.
>>122804422>guy, who the "anonymous criticism a best" concept doesn't even apply to>pretending to be unbiased
>>122818637Damn, that sucks, Anon. Goodluck with that :/
>>122804637He presented no solution just an opinion that 4chan is not inherently better than other websites for finding audience feedback, you are so fucking sensitive you faggot.
>>122827410That's just because /co/ expects worse case scenario 90% of the time. They're expecting/hoping that whoever makes a thread about their work or shares it has some type of massive ego. An ego they'll have fun trying to pick apart in some type of argument. Most of the time people just share their work cause they thought it'd be cool to show. Doesn't stop the horde from demanding you reveal whatever imaginary ulterior motive you've got.
>>122827401a racist is a racist, doesn't make you better to blanket hate any other group
>>122827270Right now the plans after the script after getting it a few reviews/revisions is to work on the pitch bible/character designs to help give people an idea of how it'll all look, make rough thumbnails/sketches to give an idea of how it'll be, and then contact some friends to help out with the art and talent to refine everything and make it look nice. I know most people prefer doing pitch bibles first before all else, but for me I personally like writing scripts cause it helps me give a better way of explaining/showing it to people as well as help nail down character personalities/traits and storybeats when drawing them.>>122827379Not storyboard anon, but I've had similar feelings like that before, and from my own personal experience it's best just to do the best you can with it, release/show it, and move on to the next thing. I've had fears like that on what people thought of my work when I presented, and while it's ok that you're setting your expectations low to avoid disappointment, don't treat yourself too hard. If it goes well that's great, and if it doesn't that's ok too. I'd say instead of being prepared of it not going well, be prepared of what you'll do afterwards and how to keep going from that.
>>122827410Certain artists get a lot of hate depending on what they have done in the past like dobson, and anyone that has a style remotely similar just gets the same hatred since it possible that it just might be that guy trying to post anonymously.
>>122827529>But are YOU racist?nah, can't claim not to be. I like a lot of native americans but still there are a bunch that immediatly turn me off. I like to think it's just the same as a dumb drunk white person, but I can't deny that my thinking that natives handle liquor different doesn't effect my thinking. I do try to treat every interaction as individual as I can, but sometimes I am tired and I just don't want to put in the effort.
>>122827519Same anon but I see you're in the same boat I am kinda too. Difference being is that I got character designs done, did a few comic shorts to test out the characters then jumped into writing animations. I've got a friend helping me get my stuff sorted for a pitch bible and giving me harsh critique that I needed on the first draft of my pilot. I honestly only started doing this stuff cause I wanted to try something new, see what writing cartoons would be like and if I could master it. I'm still learning but I'm glad at least I'm giving my friend some stuff she can add to her portfolio (and paying her while she's in between animation work). I am focusing on what I could improve in a second short after the current one is done. I got back some of the WIP stuff, the VAs did great but I already spotted a few areas I wish I did differently. It obviously won't be some major success but at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing I organized something like this to completion. Everything new always starts off rocky.
>>122827270>Do you do all this with three people only or do you hire freelancers etc?We hire freelancers but between me and hannah we do a lot of the animation work ourselves. Second vid for instance was all rough animated by me, and Hannah did cleanup. Though the biggest help we get is with backgrounds.>Is youtube income the primary source? It's the primary one for day to day personal expenses, the patreon is what's there for the budget to pay people a decent wage. >Kind of tempting to drop out and just make my own shit.we got really lucky with the algorithm and how many people watched it. I'd say your best shot's to not commit to something super long off the bat, but throw short stuff at the wall and see what sticks before making something longer. Here's another short we worked onhttps://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/751921I'm happy with it, it was a good working experience, but we learned after the fact that for something like this to work it needs to have a focus on character dynamics and interactions that make you want to watch more, instead of just watching it in a bubble. So for NB, there's more characters in Goonshire's concept, but for time and for focus we sorta boiled it down to a few of them to establish them better. Same thing with the first Satina episode, to be honest, we went out of our way to make something lowkey as something that makes an easy entry point before getting into the really crazy stuff for other episodes.Anyway, I'm just an animator/designer on it but you should really try to team up with a good producer. It can be the difference between getting halfway through pre production and giving up or actually getting people committed to seeing it through. If they're a dedicated writer, doubly so. Honestly the really nice thing about youtube for me is getting to work with a small team of people you really vibe with and sharing in the work and rewards. I know a lot of people find success being a solo act, but there's other paths.
>>122827051Cool. I didn't know you are working with Hannah. I have some questions, how can I find animator friends to start some projects? Do I need my own place to kickstart them? Is it helpful to get a second job to stay afloat until I get a good income?I don't go to art school but a community college. My community college have animation and multi-media classes but due to the pandemic, it's hard to build a connection with students who have the same goals and interest? Many of them want to transfer or not interested to hang out with me. But I have few professors who are connected in the industry and give us resources opportunities like events and internships but I have an hard time applying them due of wanting to complete my assignments.
>>122827327Oh man I thought you were talking about being quirky or something. Don't be racist anon.>>122827379Absolutely. My wife released a whole series, a story that was something very close to her heart. It's a lot of emotional pressure, I get it. I think at the end of the day, no matter what you do, not everyone is going to like it. Even if one out of a hundred comments you get is negative and the rest are positive, you'll probably think about the one negative comment. But who cares? Leaving a shitty comment takes no effort. You MADE something, and that's something to be proud of. People liking it is just a pleasant side effect of your hard work. It probably sounds stupid and cliche but I actually believe that if you are proud of what you did, it's a success. And if it reaches people, that's wonderful, but make something because you like it and don't do it to pander to anyone.
>>122827519Sounds like you have a solid plan anon! I can't wait to see what you do, keep posting about it.>>122827580All good insight, awesome>try to team up with a good producer. This is what scares me the most about going indie. I don't want all that organizational responsibility lol. Did your producer have animation experience beforehand or nah?
>>122801029>any wisdom you are particularly interested in?why do many animators want to do comics instead of animation
>>122823441All 3 went to SVA, so that's where they got their connections. But overall I think it would be more of a slight detriment, since to work in tv animation you would have to move across the country to one of the most expensive areas with less connections and being far from family.
>>122827586>how can I find animator friends to start some projects?Be doing stuff already. Hannah gave me the benefit of the doubt to collaborate cause I was basically drawing weird stuff anyway, and had comics and other projects to show. Doesn't mean you have to have your act together with a webcomic and a cartoon of your own, but it helps to show people what you're actually capable of contributing. And same with other people, just reach out to people you think are cool and do good work and could benefit from what you can do in a mutually beneficial way.>Do I need my own place to kickstart them? Is it helpful to get a second job to stay afloat until I get a good income? We got lucky with hannah's student project basically getting enough momentum to finance things and get support. I can only speak for myself, but I basically worked a shitter wagie job for a couple of years, saved up enough, and then just committed to quitting and using the spare time to try and find something that worked. Have a safety net, but I guess be willing to go hungry for a bit before things really take off.>>122827652Oh yeah Shaggy's made a few things in the past, he's more of a 3d guy. We actually got in touch from a smiling friends server, he wanted me to do some work for him, we hit it off as friends. Wouldn't know how to tell you how to reproduce that. If nothing else he's given me a better appreciation of how much thought and effort goes into writing and then delegating ideas. Find creative people who are good people persons.
>>122827709Do you have any tips on figuring out your budget? What I'm wanting to do is going to be more of an animatic than anything fully animated but I don't know a good price to go off of to help pay people for storyboarding/illustrations because of that for an indie project.
>>122827602>If you're proud of what you do, it's a successIt's the most simplest advice but it gets the job done. I do feel kinda giddy when I get progress back, like it's good to see something you wrote come to life. I could post a bit of it's WIP here. >>122827786Not that anon but I operate on doing it animatic style, the cost for the animatic itself was 500 - 1000 for me. Thats not counting the VA fees along with it which varied between four different people.
>>122827786Specific price is really gonna come down to what you negotiate with people if you're not going through a union standard, but I'd recommend have at least 3000 dollars saved up for budget. That's basically nothing for actual production, but for preproduction/animatic stuff its a decent pool to work with. Thing is you should try to find every concievable way to save on budget if you can and spend closer to 1000 bucks on fewer people. If you have a good relationship with someone, you're willing to actually collaborate and give them some creative stake in the project, or are willing to barter your skills on what they're working on, sometimes you can figure something out that doesn't break the bank. For freelancers who're there to do the work and make money, that's a lot less negotiable, and obviously you don't want to underpay people. But the thing is, the more people you involve, the more money's gonna get spent, simple as. So minimize that if you can by doing a lot of work yourself. Also, the price is completely dependant on how long the thing's gonna be. It's more manageable to get one, maybe two artists to make an animatic for a two minute short from a script with less than ten pages and a thousand dollars than it is to get a team of seven artists to try and get a 20 minute pilot boarded from a 40 page script with more than that (trust me, I've been down that rabbit hole for a client before, its a nightmare. Its better to tell a compelling story in a short amount of time that leaves people wanting more than burning out a crew of people)
>>122827786>>122827935Also I'll just add that for actual production on a half hour thing, be ready to spend something closer to 10-15,000 bucks IF you're cutting corners and also doing a lot of the work yourself.
>>122800801Would Vivzie refuse to hire someone if she found out through social media that they were a Trump supporter?
>>122827935>a two minute short from a script with less than ten pagesI thought one page is one or two minutes? That what I'm learning in my scriptwriting class.
>>122800801Would Viv cast you aside if she knows you're browsing this Nazi pro-Trump hellpit?
