People are more cold and shitty nowadays, but there are still kind heart and altruistic individuals out there.I've helped out two unlucky and lost souls up to this point ( although I don't have a family/kids).First was an old school mate who got dealt a really shitty hand and was left on the street, jobless. in a two month period, he got his shit together, found a job and moved out. Has been doing fine since then.Second time was a homeless grandma who got ditched by her family and left to die on the street. Stayed with me for a week during which I managed to find her a place and something to do in the local church. Sadly she passed away not long after that. Still have her tobacco container which she gifted me before she went away.

I used to run a internet club and we had a huge storage space that was never used. When winter came around, I let some homeless people to sleep in it during my night-shifts. They were really good people even the one who had killed his brother in a state of rage many years a go.. They even helped me out a bit when possible. Like fighting off unrepentant bad apples (meth-heads, thieves other more malicious homeless people and so on), cleaning up the club and bringing me cigars or coffee from time to time.
