What would an ENA videogame be like?I was thinking a mishmash of both the style of Extinction Party and Temptation Stairs with being a mostly first-person game (perhaps grid hall-movement akin to older 80s/90s rpgs) utilizing the CD-i style of animation when interacting with NPCs. From a gameplay standpoint, perhaps a sorta mishmash of JRPG and puzzle games like Puyo Puyo or Panel de Pon? ENA doesn't strike me as the action-y kinda character, so flavoring matching blocks and stuff as "programming/coding" might be a better way to justify combat. Keep it looking weird/cheapo 90s computer fashion with SFX and FX.

So why not an ENA VR game?It could even be a plot-point; You are an actual person, or at least not a native of ENA's world, and have via some mcguffin stumbled onto her world. It could even be that we are using our "primitive" VR systems to get a glimpse of the place. You get to explore this trippy plain not knowing what the hell anything is, just figuring out things by interaction. I believe most people who idolize him today are assholes who like him because he affirmed their autistic political views by shouting nigger into a camera and giving them their most common mental image for government agents. They worship the meme of the man that was left after death and don't really give too much of a shit about anything else. Terry was a tortured genius haunted by the voices of spectres that drove him both to the creation of a work of art and his own demise. The man went from being a programmer with a promising career to unemployed and living with his parents, and TempleOS became his last great work forged not only from his mental illness but also often despite it. His moments of lucidity and wanting to have control of this documented in the videos are some of the more heart wrenching things I've watched. In many ways attention accelerated his decline, and I blame the Metokur videos for putting the final nail in the coffin. In the end he was run over by a train, leaving his unfinished life's work to the public domain, dying before his parents. The whole thing is a terrible and profound tragedy.

>>121118427There would still be a sex scene right?
>>121118646I want the fangame to be accurate to the source material, so probably not, as ENA probably lacks libido and would likely have an incompatible body. If I truly feel like it's needed, then maybe I would put something like that there, perhaps in the form of intercrural sex.
>>121112563>>121112590>>121112598She is clearly bi-polar, and that's okay.
>>121118774>ENA probably lacks libidoI would give her a Turron for a blowjob and she'd accept

>>121103095I'm not sure what the actual GAMEPLAY would be like. However, I'd like it if, when talking to NPCs, you're presented with emotions instead of pure dialogue choices. Like, someone asks you something and you can choose yellow, blue, white, etc. Also, if you choose the same emotion over and over, the NPC punches you and automatically switches your emotion.

>>121116422>implying tragedy can't be kino
>>121125457I can't imagine how ENA would respond to flirting. She would probably just say something completely unrelated.
>>121126808I could be biased, but while it'll probably be strange, I think ENA would recognize the intention behind it. As surreal as EVA's world, there is still an underlying sense to things and people there still have a coherent purpose.
I want more of the creator's other stuff too, the one with a green alien-elf thing that's constantly in pijamas/underwear.
>>121127270Yeah, I hope Joel gets big.
Anyone know for sure what Shepherd's accent is? It's clearly eastern european but doesn't quit sound like russian. I've been told it sounds like czech or balkan but I wouldn't know/

God. Maybe a just God does exist, because the things I would do with ENA..
>>121088548Ena's "multiple personality" thing makes it really easy for mentally ill people to relate to her. And that's not really a bad thing, but you're inevitably going to get a handful of real weird fucks latching on.
>>121125850It can be, certainly. If the world is allowed to have a moment of emotional or dramatic gravity and not just lean into the memes should that sort of reveal happen, there's a potential there for great storytelling to follow. I kinda get the feeling we're starting to get a bit more weight to the whole ENA world as is, the Dead God Graveyard and a lot of the other scenes have been decidedly moodier. There's a lot of somber imagery to pick through in this latest entry and it has me hoping Joel G will really capitalize on the interest and start piecing together a grand narrative or story from the implications he's made about the world.
>>121084592I dont understand that series at all, am I just retarded, or is it some obscure reference to something else?

Do you think ENA stands for something? Maybe it means "Ethernet Network Adapter"? It's always capitalized so I keep assuming it. Perhaps ENA (Or ENAs as the newest short seem to imply) is some kind of program meant to stabilize reality or act as a way to input data of whatever into something. Would explain why they seem to go wherever.
>>121150029Do you think colorism is a thing in Ena's world? She was initially refused entrance to moony's area for her appearance.
>>121150690No, I think it's because ENA is actually corrupted, at least to a degree, and it's visible, and they initially deny her for stability, or lack off.
>>121150735*or lack of*
>>121150735In addition, I don't know if they really have a thing against corruption, because the guard let her in with little reluctance.
Would ENA & Moony get along with him?Are they on his level?

>>121156643It would be unlikely to happen, considering Joel doesn't want to put it in TV, but if must I imagine it would be something like this. The setting itself would be slightly more grounded and ENA herself may become a bit more sensible. Other characters could accompany Moony and ENA on their adventures. It may also get a more traditional story format and have it be overarching, perhaps with the addition of an antagonist.
>>121156775thank god that will never happen
>>121156843At least the additional production value would make an already visually impressive show into something even more appealing.

Why is there so many foreign people in the show? I feel like it means that whatever the world is, it takes from the cultures of our world, so perhaps it is in-universe directly inspired by it.
>>121157265its based off the internet i think, like some kind of internet like realm or universe left on its own.
>>121157265Because we're all here together, even if we have language barriers.
>>121156775yeah, honestly im glad its going with the route its taking. while the shorts itself have some kind of continuity, im glad the show doesnt have some kind of main antagonist beyond the whatever events happen in the animation itself. it seems to lend more to kind of surreal storytelling that the setting provides.
>>121156843>>121158014If there were to be an antagonist, what could best fit it? Remember that antagonists don't have to be evil, just merely oppose the protagonists.

>>121172872OP here, I've already been outed as weird for having a weird dream about sheep. I had a dream last night I was a child in a boarding school/asylum/orphanage. I was chained to the wall by my neck in a padded room with three other kids. Some of the kids were grotesque deformed monsters. One of the children who had a starfish head and beady eyes broke into our cell and freed us. We followed him down the hall and saw a fat boy we hated not in a usual medical flock but a schoolboys clothing. We pinned him down and I pull out a switchblade and told him I was going to cut off his fat if he didn't tell us why he was in civilian clothing. He told us his father had was letting him move back home. We stole his clothing and dressed one of us in it because we were marked as being kids who aren't allowed to leave their cell so by dressing up we could be admitted as a new kid who was allowed access the library where we could read enough books to become smart enough to escape. The wardens looks a little like this but with iron nails all over their face and massive mouths
>>121172872Tbqh i dont feel much sexual attrction to ena.
>>121139694yup im cooming to this
I'm getting really tempted to buy that "Make a Wish" shirt.
>>121152750Too bad he's motherfucking dead. Fuck Bort.
>>121173881The pop up one isy favorite. Im getting really tempted.
>>121173881I'm gonna get this one once i remember my amazon prime login.
What is drunk ena like?
>>121175255Apparently even more mercurial than usual, but if you mean if what she would be like if she was intoxicated, then I don't, probably a drunk that talks how much she loves everyone.
>>121175292I mean, apparently alcohol does exist in enas world and ena herself gets drunk and visits moony
>>121175255>>121175292>>121175412When ENA shows up all frazzled Mooney assumes she's "drunk again" so it does seem alcohol exists and Ena consumes it at some frequency
>>121175453If the thread is true, it means ENA visiting Mooney while she's on house-arrest while drunk is apparently a common enough occurrence.
>>121175845That would be a funny idea for a short
Am I bipolar for finding ENA relatable?
>>121176567It doesn't mean that, it merely may you just change moods often.
>>121176567>>121176595Bros I think I might have manic depression or bpd or something. Yesterday I was literally thinking about killing myself and pulling out my hair the next I was laughing at how silly I was being and then I was crouched on the floor thinking everything is pointless then standing up and "going so what" and then listing all things that are bad but it's okay but then I started crying and started organizing my suicide but then got very bored and angry at how much time I was wasting feeling bad. Or is this normal? This has happened quite a few times
>>121168348Maybe the /aco/ thread
>>121176567i have the assburgers and i find her pretty relatable tbqh.
>>121176868No. That sounds very concerning. Go see a professional.
>>121176868welcome to the world of chronic depression. youre here forever.
Man, if this thread indicates anything, this Fandom would get absolutely bonkers.
>>121178102i dont know, it seems much tamer than what comes out of some of the other shows posted here.
>>121178396Sure, but you most know there is a much wider Fandom from those shows. If this is showing this much instability this small and early on, I carry great fear.
>>121178459i dont think its that much different from any other smaller fanbase threads. the community outside of this board is actually pretty level headed too, im surprised given the fact that the animations themselves have such a surreal vibe.
>9/11 easter eggsgod dammit when did he add three more? i know about the party hat but i missed it, unless that one doesn't count
>>121179055*two more, i can't count apparently
>>121084592What do you think would the following shorts be like? I wonder if all of this is working up to some plot
Look ive found Moony
>>121179689Man, it's kinda sad how fat she gotten.
>>121179600i dont know. i think joel might change how the characters act now that theyve made their wishes.
>>121177412cheese and rice moony
>>121178102there can't be much of a fandom based on 20 minutes between three videos not lucid enough for a story or universe
>>121110994>VR.>This whole thing, ENA, vaporwave, it's all 90's as fuck. And you want to know what the hotness was back then? VR. "Cyberspace", "Jacking in", I said jacking IN, not OFF you retards. Those retro graphics look amazing on VR btw. Play Compound to see what I mean, they industry needs to give up on modern graphics for VR and just focus on gameplay
>>121084592based shepherd poster
>>121179712Nothing wrong with chubby Moony
>>121179055Oh fuck me.I couldn't find any of the last batch on my own, wonder what I gotta do now.
>>121180321The amount 9f discussion and posts about ena ive seen online say otherwise
A buhmillion demons.
Has anyone got the new Easter Eggs? Nothing on the site has changed so I think it's some stupid URL thing like the TaynaHastur one.
>>121181139Not yet.I never have any idea how to get these things besides trying to click everywhere like a madman.
>>121178753Greetings and salutations, sir! What? Alone again on a Saturday? CHEESE AND RICE, anon!
Guys, you're not gonna believe this. This guy at the auction (picture familiar) bet a whole FATTY CATTY. He must be loaded.
Is ENA a she? They have a male voice most of the time
>>121181525yes. the creator confirmed ena is a girl.
>>121181525For some strange reason, the male voice is infinitely more pleasant to hear even if she's meant to be female.
>>121181584Once again, men getting the job done
I don't know what I did...
>>121182325Give us anything. ANYTHING you did that may help us crack the case.
>>121182325What? Is there a mini game?
>>121182325Try to retrace your steps. What were you doing at the time and what time did your system clock show?
>>121182450>>121182493When i still had 9/11, the only thing i remember doing was seeing TanyaHastur walking around. I both left clicked and right clicked on her a bunch but in no particular order, but I don't remember ever hearing the unlock sound.I only noticed I was at 10/11 when I went into Chrome's page inspect and just searched Easter, which scrolled the page down to the bottom where the count is. I tried to recreate it but for some reason it's not letting me sign into a new account.
>>121182325Never mind, somebody found them already. For Sad Ena, spell TURRON on the "Hi! Welcome to my website" banner. For Drunk Ena, https://joelgc.com/temptationstairway
>>121168784I wonder if thats why moony was so smug when ena found her in extinction party, she might have thought ena was sentenced or sent there too
>>121182547>Drunk EnaThat's odd, I definitely didn't go to that link but still managed to get the unlock. I wonder if me ctrl+shift+I'ing into the dev thing circumvented it somehow.
>>121086487How do you like me now?
>>121182547With every new batch of easter eggs I've been trying the turron thing to no avail. The one time I don't try it out it's actually part of the easter eggs.Maybe one day I'll discover one of these on my own. Thanks, man.
>>121086585trollface moony seems very in character.
>>121084592This thread seems as good a place as any to ask. I've been thinking about making an online portfolio and I don't like twitter, Deviant Art, or Tumblr's shambling corpse. Would New Grounds be a good place to do it?
I fucking hate you all. You're now never entering Heaven after seeing this.
>>121183682If I was already headed to hell, does that mean I go to super hell?
Last post of the thread. Moony is a bitcharse motherfucker who stole my skateboard. Fuck Moony.[BOTTOM TEXT]
>bump limit reachedIt seems the wishes we made were the posts we submitted along the way. Wake me when the next thread starts.
>>121184310Fuck you, I'm taking back the last post.
